Yeah the gang is all here from STL. Dreams83 is my wife. I get to enjoy a rare day off from work b/c its my wife's and I anniversary #5! Hopefully this mean I can get back to my TR sometime today.

Howdy Jonathan,
Yes we have all discused the fish extenders exchange and we will have one!!
When Shell sends out the cruisemates list she will have info on it about the FE. If you want to participate please make she she knows this when you send her your information as talked about above a few posts.

DH-Pete, & I are gearing up for our very 1st half marathon this weekend. Praying these newbie nanaheads and half marathoners achieve our goals...Pete's is under 2.5 hours, and mine is to finish without being picked up, standing upright, and smiling. 3:30 hours is the time limit...praying I can average my 14 min/mile that I have worked toward. Just have to make it in under 16 min/mile. I plan on walking a lot, and that's ok for me.

I printed our waivers this morning. We will get our DD-Kayla, age 6, on the bus in the moning for school tomorrow, and pack our bags and head to the expo. Pete's parent's will be picking our princess up from school tomorrow, as we will be enjoying everything we can about this first time experience. Time at the expo, and then we will be staying at All Star Movies. After all, we have to be up at 3am or so for the race Sat am.

After the race, DD will be joining us for a night at All Star Movies Sat. I'm thinking enjoying dinner, and the hot tub will be in order. If all goes well, we will be in the parks wearing our medals Sat afternoon and Sunday.

I'll post a picture and comments next week to share!

Doing a daddy-daughter weekend with Elizabeth in a couple weeks. Just 2 nights at the GF but it's going to be fun fun fun!

I'm here. Just been really busy since we got back.

Greg took a few rest days to recoup from his trip , you know how old men need to rest a lot. Then he got strep and was down for a few days.
He is up and running now, he has posted on CC thread is you zip over there.

A few rest days?....I took an entire week! After that 11 hour flight home followed by adjusting to a 10 hour time difference and strep infection, I felt like an old man!

Since Air France bumped us off our flight to Budapest on Christmas day they issued us credit vouchers which are good for round trip tickets to Budapest from Salt Lake City anytime this year. I guess we're going back to Europe!

Now I just need to decide WHEN? Janel has her heart set on an Alaskan cruise this summer, so I guess we'll need to go this Spring or Fall?

Cool but not freezing again this morning but this weekend they are still predicting upper 20's for lows. Time to put on the long johns again.

I booked our hotel for the "night before the cruise" I tried booking at the radisson again, they were already booked....checked a few other places they were book, so I was able to get in at the Country Inn Suites at Port Canaveral..they also have free shuttle service.....1 more thing down...now just airline tickets and limo service


Jeff: have a fun daddy daughter trip.

Hi Everyone,

You've already met a few of the people that's going on this cruise with us as we are currently a party of 13 and growing. We have 5 cabins, all on Deck 8, 2 verandas cat 5e, 3 inside--9 adults, 3 children 12, 10, 8 (time of cruise) and an infant (1 year old).

We're of the group which moved our Mexican Riveria Halloween cruise to now this Halloween cruise to the Bahamas.

Tonight as I read the Disboards, I realized the Raddison at the Cape was already sold out so I took the initiative and made reservations at Country Inn and Suites. Thanks for those who have posted concerning this issue.

By way of introduction: My husband Mike and I (Terry) have been on 7 cruises. This will be our 2nd on Disney. We're grandparents of one side of what is made of two family groups. We have 3 grandsons and all will be on this ship--12, 8, and 1 year old. Presently two of our four children are also on board with us. My oldest son, Jonathan (Fastpaks), his wife (Dreams83), their son Adam. My second child, Angela (Ajaysmom), her b/f Dave, and two sons Austin and Drew. There is a possibility that another one of our children is seriously considering joining us..If so, this will be our 4th, Amy (age 25).

Then we have Dave's (Angela's b/f) family rounding out the rest of our group--one cabin will be secured by his sister Patti (also a grandparent) traveling with her grandson Damien (10), and another cabin to Dave's nephew with his wife (Brian and Ashley). This will be a first cruise ever for Dave's family and we're really excited for them. Disney does things right and this should be an awesome experience.

That's enough info for right now...and it's a lot. LOL Will talk to everyone later.

I am Kathy and Greg is my husband. This will be DCL cruise #21 for us plus a Carnival cruise. Its great to have another grandma along. I'm not 100% possitive but I think Denise and I are the only other grandmas in this group.
She has a beautiful grandaughter, Izzy and I have 5 awesome grandkids, 3 girls and 2 boys. They sometimes cruise with us but not this time.

I am looking forward to chatting with all of your group to get aquainted before this cruise.

Yup, you sure have!!! Are you going on this cruise? I've been without a computer since Christmas day so I'm really behind on everything. I have to go check out your TR, plus Podsnel's and Neener's. I know they have all been updated. Glad to see you are still going after that crazy holiday rush!


Sorry to worry you Kathy! I tried to post it on Facebook a couple of times with my phone that my computer was down. It's been rough without my computer every day. I've been planning with MIL though! I've shown her this thread and hopefully she will be able to start chatting with us when she retires this month! We are going to start doing dinner together once or twice a month to keep all of our planning on the same page, I'm so excited!


Greg, glad to see you are back! I loved the couple of days that you and Kathy sent that were 50+, but the snow you sent last night stinks! I'm going to hopefully stalk your Facebook page today or tomorrow to see all of your awesome pics! I'm so jealous you got to go to Egypt. I'm hoping to talk DH into taking me there someday, but Ireland is coming first.

I'm Denise and traveling with Wally...this is my 3rd disney cruise and Wally's 2nd....cannot wait to get on that new ship....
So you booked at country Inn Suites...great! We can have a little meet before the cruise.
Shell (woogal) will be in touch either with you or one of the family members to gather all your info for the cruise list.
Most of us have traveled a few times together before, but we love adding new nanaheads to our group.


nothing much goining on this weekend, will be heading into chicago tomorrow to visit my dad and thats about it.
