Happy Monday everyone!

Denise, are you under the tornado watches/warnings today? It's been unseasonably warm and we were under one until the storm broke up and mostly headed north of us. It's been crazy windy for the last 2 days though! It was almost 70 today though when I went to get DS. :scared1::woohoo:

Christine, glad you are back!!! Even though it wasn't Disney, looks like you had a good time!

Well, I'm off to bed as I have had a horrible Monday. Hoping Tuesday is better and will check back in tomorrow. :thumbsup2

You got that from dancing? :-o

Great photo Christine.

You must be one heck of a dancer to get a bruise like that :lmao

Morgan hope tomorrow will be better for you.

Our snow is suppose to start any minute now, its been pouring rain all day and all of that will be ice by morning. They say our high may not even make it up to freezing tomorrow.:sad2:

Good
night everyone,

Kathy

Good day! Well it is snowing out and I am thinking why am I waiting until October to head south!!! That's almost a year from now! Someone please make me feel better about my decision :goodvibes

Hi Jaime,
I have snow this morning too. Only a couple of inches. But our high is only freezing today. I am escaping on the first for WDW, come join us :lmao:

Morning all,

Looks so pretty outside with the new snow. The dogs go crazy in it. I will try and take some photos later this morning and share them with everyone.
I like the snow but not the ice under it. The freeway is just crawling this morning and several wrecks already including a semi hauling gasoline

Have a great day everyone,
back when I can.

Morning Bobby:goodvibes Why does it not surprize me to see you at the top of the page.

Jaime- There are still cabins available on the Nov. 27 Magic. Just sayin'
And like Kathy, we are heading to WDW in Dec. (we are going the week between Christmas and New Year's). It's become a family tradition and while last year it was not really warm it was still better than being up north and we were at Disney at the holidays. Join us!

Hi Jeff,

Hey i invited her first :lmao:

Ok, she can come to WDW with us the first half of the month then cruise with you on the 27th :thumbsup2

We shall be wise like King Solomon and share her. :goodvibes

Kathy

Kathy, you need to keep you cold weather up there. It's been in the 40s all week and is going down into the 20s tomorrow night:eek:

Today's my first day back to work since the 10th. It's has not been easy, not to mention I am still on east coast time. Glad it's only a 2 day work week.

Evening all:

Welll I was at work early again this morning, had to go for a health screening then computer training. Back at my desk after 1pm....now trying to play catch up...getting out at 3pm tomorrow, altho I have to work friday and saturday:eek: only till noon both days....but still what a pain.

Christine, I cant belive how cold your weather turned. I did look at your pics on facebook from your cruise. The ship looked beautiful....

have a good one all
:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Well its getting down to the upper teens tonight. It snowed all day too, but it didnt stick that much.

Sorry Christine, but this cold weather is everywhere this week. You just need to get use to it like the rest of us. Of course you could do the chicken dance like Greg did last year to warm it up again.:rolleyes1 It worked for him. :lmao:

Good night all, keep warm,

Kathy

You'd better have Greg explain to Denise how it's done. :rotfl2:

I'm not sure I want to see the chicken dance.... :lmao:

More than likely going to see Tangled today with my mom and the kids. It's snowing here:scared1: thanks to Greg and Kathy, but only a few flakes fall at a time. Going to get some groceries with my mom hopefully as well since I have to make a dessert and a salad for dinner tomorrow. :rolleyes1

Anyone have any good salad ideas???

Good morning everyone,

Morgan how about a macaroni salad or potao sallad. Most make tossed green or jello salads, be different and try one of those??

Also I like to take pistachio pudding mix, make the pudding and stir in cool whip. Enough to make it look light and fluffy. It works for a salad or dessert.
You can garnish with mandarin orange slices or grapes, both go well with it.

Well Peter still has a nasty cold, now Greg is getting it so we may wind up staying home for Thanksgiving. Dont want to expose everyone there to a bad cold. Plus they need to rest to get better before our vacation next week.
We will have to decide by this afternoon what we are going to do. I dotn mind, I just want them to get better.

I do have a small ham here we could have since i am NOT prepared to make adinner since we were going away for dinner. or i could zip to Dennys for a turkey dinner to go!! I will make a pie myself.

So we shall see what happens.

Most of the snow is gone on the ground but it is still spitting some snow outside and its below freezing still.

Greg didnt you video tape yourself doing the chicken dance last year? Its such a life latering experience I was sure you would have caught it on tape??:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Time to change the laundry around to the dryer,

later all,

Kathy

Didnt I tell you ,
my rubber chicken bit the dust.
Pixie got the top half and Minnie got the back half. It's was a tug o war to the death.:sad2:

He is irreplacable and its impossible to do the dance without him.
He was a special chicken. His powers were mighty but not mighty enough to escape the death grip of 2 large dogs.:rolleyes1

He had a lovely funeral.
We creamated what was left of him with onions, celery, noodles and chicken broth. Plus a dash of fresh pepper. He was savory to the end.
