Do you make a count down chain for the cruise?

Its fun to watch it get smaller everyday as you pluck off another link.

Of course right now it would wrap around all the walls in the house I think 6 months out is a good time to have one.

Sorry to hear you dont get the weekend off. What line of work are you in, if you dont mind my asking?

Kathy, I work in corrections. I am a case manager in a male prison. I love my job. I know that sounds odd, but I do. Never a dull moment!!!!

I was thinking when i first read the question about the chain... boy DH would kill me if i had a chain like that going around the house... LOL. I might do it when we get closer. It is just me and DH we do not have any children. We are foster parents hoping to adopt. If we adopt before the cruise we will keep it a secret to the child(ren) that we would be adopting to surprise them!!!

Yes, its very cool here today, I had the windows open in the house when I first got home, then it go so darn cold in here, I felt like putting sweats on! Crazy weather.

Going to hang out with Sue tomorrow. I havent seen her for awhile, she has a weekend trailer out in the middle of nowhere, just gonna hang out and relax.... The rest of the weekend, gonna do a lot of nothing

Hi all
Happy Labor Day weekend - my least favorite holiday of the year because it means the beginning of the end of summer. And on cue, we went from a high temp in the 90s the last five days to a high of 67 today.

We are heading to the outlets today - my idea even though I am not a big fan of shopping -- but we need some stuff and haven't been there for quite some time. Hope to get some items for our FE presents for our November cruise - which is only 12 weeks away!

Just got home from a great night with friends.
We are yet another day closer.

I had a very interesting day at the office.

last night a pipe busted in my office and soaked EVERYTHING in my office at work! computer fried, paper work soaked, not much i could do today but clean it up some! Just hope i can get a new computer soon.....my job revolves around the computer!!!!

Kathy, did you watch the Ducks play New Mexico tonight? I'm not sure if you'd call that a "game" or not? Oregon completely pulverized New Mexico 72-0? That game was all over before they hit half time!

My wife's parents are flying out the Knoxville next week to watch them play Tennessee....should be interesting to see how that one turns out?

My brother in law (Mark Asper) is an offensive lineman for Oregon. It was pretty cool to watch him play in the Rose Bowl in January!

Greg I saw the some of the massacre
When it hit 62 -0 I turned the station. I couldnt bear to watch the other team get stomped so bad. Wasnt much of a challenge for the Ducks.

In out local paper last week they had a full section dedicated ot the Ducks, saw your BIL's photo in it.


Watched the Oregon Beavers too but they lost.

Yeah, I heard on the post game report they were calling my BIL and 4 other offensive lineman the "Fabulous 5".....I'm sure his head hasn't gotten any bigger because of it?
