Happy thursday all,

cool again this morning but suppose to hit 90 today. It has along ways to warm up to reach that. Its in the 50's right now.

Been watching Earl's progress this morning. Hope it doesnt hit as hard as they think it might. A cat 4 is nothing to sneeze at!! But tornadoes that follow are far worse than the actual hurricane most of the time.

It is that time of the year.

Quiet again today.

Greg has probably gone back to bed and is sleeping while all the kids are gone to school and pre school today. WAKE UP GREG !!!!

Hi Kathy!

I'm here and awake....been up since 6am.

Holly made it to her first day of preschool and was very excited about it.

Many kids were crying, screaming and wanted mom & dad to take them home. None of my kids have every been scared to stay at school? I think they're just happy to get away from me?

I've been re-doing schedules for our Med. cruise in December. I sure wish the airlines would quit messing with our reservations/itinerary!

Oh well, only 100 days to go before I can sit here and relax!

Well, Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday! It's raining here, but we needed the rain badly!

I hate to tell everyone this, but we are no longer going to be joining the banana heads. We have decided to take the Kids Sail Free offer for Feb 5th instead. Kinda stinks because I was so excited to meet you all and I visited their thread and they have a whole whopping 6 pages for the last year. I hope everyone has a wonderful time on your trip and after my reenactment next month I will pop back in and say hello to everyone and see how things are going.

Glad all the kids go willingly to school. Ours did great too until Junior high and then they went ok but had streaks of NOT wanting to do their work which is a headache for mom and dad.

Its almost 12:30 and we are just now seeing a bit of sun. This morning they said 90 today but I say 75 if we are lucky. It is 66 right now.

Sorry to hear your airlines are still playing games with you. When your traveling that far its extra worrysome to have everything just right.

Greg just booked our flights to WDW this December yesterday. They usually mess with us once or twice even for that distance. Hope they dont this time, since we have good hours and layovers. Good good prices on Delta this time.
So now the hotel, tickets, plane tickets are all paid for. Just need to pay the dog sitter and parking near the airport.

It was funny because i have been saving ones and change, plus a few bills for this trip and in order to pay off the airline tickets I had to have Greg put that money in the bank today. It had so many ones and fives it looked like a million dollars. I had it all rubber banded together and it barely fit into a sandwich baggie.

Nobody laughs at my savings change now!!

Yeah, my brother was commenting the other day on how cheap airfare was to Orlando on Delta. Normally we fly Delta and use Sky Miles, but this time British Airways had a killer deal of $400 r/t that we couldn't pass up. It's on a 747 jumbo jet and the kids (including me) are excited about it.

I'd wave to you as we fly over, but after our flight leaves LAX it heads north and goes up over Canada and Greenland for a 2 hour layover in London before heading onto Barcelona.

Boy, that's a lot of change, sister! We keep a change jar in the kitchen and it doesn't look like much but the last time the kids cashed it in I was surprises at how much was actually in there!

Yes it was alot. The family use to make fun of my saving until they see how much I save, now Greg contributes when he gets change or ones too.
I iwll be watching fo ryoru wave and will close my eyes and wave back. I cant look out until we are almost on the ground.

I love those huge jumbo jets for overseas flights. So much better than domestic planes.

Greg, Euro Disney is way too crowded. Yes even more than WDW!!

Its 12:30 and we are at 86 so I know we will hit 90+ today.

Suppose to cool to 70's for the weekend.

Going to stay home, watch movies and use the BBQ this weekend.
The guys might go shooting one afternoon. Its close by.

We finally are getting a break from the hot weather. High tomorrow is 80 and low tomorrow night is 47!!! I think i will pull out a sleeping back and sleep under the stars.....well maybe not but it is going to be nice night to be at friends and cooking out!!!

I wish i had a 3 day weekend. In my line of work we don't get the luxury of taking extended weekends on holidays like this!!!! Hope everyone has a safe labor day weekend!!
