A few more later.

Nice photos Jeff,
see how great it is when you remember the camera:goodvibes

Guess we will just check out the new show at MK in December.
Hoop De Doo is like an old Vaudeville style show. Thats the best I can do to explain it.
Christine can maybe describe it better.
Its nice dinner served family style and you eat as your entertained.
I think we had ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, mashed potatoes and some kind of dessert,

I remember they got the audience involved a couple of times. Its been several years since we saw it, but it was fun to do once. I would do it again if I had company that I was showing around.

Our amazing room at the Grand Floridian before we had a water main break and had to move to a smaller (but equally nice) room.

Yep, that is exactly what it is Kathy. We love it and the food is really good but it's expensive and has set times so I just thought if Mickey's BBQ has the same food it would be easier to go there the next time.

Well we are cloudy and cool today. Next week will be a heat wave though so off to the storage unit this weekend to get out the shorts;)

Kathy

Thanks Greg it was a good trip. No accidents this year. I think everyone is still recovering from vacation. We all seem to be in bed by 9 P.M. this week.
Thank goodness we have a 3 day weekend to relax some more.

So hows drivers ed going for Chayce?
How are the rest of the kids and Janel doing? All feeling well I hope?
Hows the planning for the cruise coming along?

Remember to leave room for Denise and I :goodvibes

Hi Kathy,

Chayce has been a busy beaver lately. He went hiking in Wyoming the first week of June, then went to Cedar Badge with the scouts for another week and in between he's been taking drivers ed and just graduated yesterday, so look out fellow motorists! :lmao:

I told him before he can drive he must be able to land an airplane by himself, so today we're headed to the airport to go flying. He'll need to learn to focus all his attention and be aware of everything going on not only outside the cockpit, but inside as well. After he learns to do that....driving will seem fairly easy.

Everyone here is healthy and doing well. Our Mediterranean cruise plans are almost complete. I'm just waiting for the train schedules in Europe to come out so we can book our post cruise tickets. It's going to be a whirlwind trip.....Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Malta, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and England. Janel wants to visits some of her friends in Hungary, so we may end up flying home from Budapest?

If you and Denise are coming....pack lite, we're going to be traveling A LOT! :rotfl2:

Oh great !!
First i had to worry about the roads, NOW I have to worry about flying :lmao:
Gee whiz guess I will just stay home for awhile:rolleyes1

Sounds like a great trip. That might be a little too tiring for these old bones so I may have to sit this one out this time. Besides I have dog sitters to interview and hire. That is very important and time consuming.
I have to keep my priorities straight ya know:thumbsup2

Hopefully I have 2 places that may work for a dog sitter, after 4 months of looking. I am meeting with the first one on July 10th and the 2nd one will contact me after the 4th and we will set up a time to meet.

Then if I approve we will schedule a 2nd meet with the dogs.

If that goes well then we will set up a 3rd meet where the dogs will spend the day and if that goes well then we will have a sitter again:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I didnt have this much trouble finding a sitter for the kids

Hope everyone has a great 4th.
It is quiet out where I am which is good since it scares poor Pixie really bad.

Later all,

Kathy

Kathy

No need to fear.....he passed! :thumbsup2

After 3 hours of being pumped full of adrenaline......he's down in his room tacking a nap now. :rotfl2:

His hands kept shaking every time we'd get close to the runway and I'd have to take over and land, but after about 8-9 attempts he finally pulled it off, then his confidence improved and he got excited. :woohoo:

Well we made it to Nashville, i forgot my cord for my camera to my laptop so pics will have to wait till monday! I have every cord but the one i need .... oh well...lol

Now I have to watch out from above and on the road :lmao:
Be sure and tell me if he comes out my way.

I have a grandson who is learning to drive now too , such scary thoughts :rolleyes1

WOW!!!

What floor are you on??

I got dizzy just looking at the photos :lmao:

I would probably have to stay in my room with the drapes pulled shut so I wouldnt pass out. ;)I have a fear of heights.

But looks like a great place.

Looking forward to more photos when you have the time,
thanks for sharing,

Kathy

we are on the 20th floor. dh has a fear of heights. he will look out the window but will not look down at the lobby!

We went to the BB King Club tonight. It was good!

I am the same way, I can look out but not down.
20th floor would have a great view, like your photo showed.
I have been trying to get my courage up to go up in the tethered balloon at downtown Disney at WDW. It only goe sup 400 feet but for me thats alot. But i know the view would be great.
Hope to do it this December.

Have a great day,

Kathy
