Iknow it is hilarious.... But we would be out and about doing what ever and then....we would be hungry...decide we wanted to eat and go soemwhere and they wouldnt be opened....
I ate alot of that cucumber salad it is really good.
We couldnt even hit Topsiders at the right time.
But I still managed to gain 10 pounds.

I am thinking the daily navigators are also posted somewhere - but I'm not sure . . . anybody remember? :surfweb:

And about the previous posters talking up about meeting somewhere for a meal while on board the ship??:confused: That has me curious.
Anywho - if we are going to do this, add me to the list and or I don't mind volunteering to put this togetherpopcorn::.

Good enough for me!! knewton64 is in charge of PJ Breakfast! :thumbsup2

They are posted on this site somewhere in DIS home. I can find them but can't for the life of me tell anyone else where to find them. I do not know how current they are and I trhink DCL is refining the format again. Who knows what ours will look like. However, dining times and such do not change all that much over the years so an older navigator will still give a good idea of what we can expect on a given day. Lois

Sales are big here now, post Christmas and all, so I picked up a dress to wear I think for formal night. Emailed my TA to make another chunk of a payment for this trip.
Our pirate costumes got washed on board the last cruise and are already in a suitcase ready for the next cruise.
Still debating the flying down vs driving down. The only thought that concerns me in that matter is that driving will mean my kids will miss a little more school than not driving.
I've decided on our FE main adult gifts, so I can start on those now, and it's easy to add more when more join. My DH thinks I'm crazy but, hey, he just isn't one to show his DISNEY CRAZY Thoughts :)
USD VISA, thats my plan to acquire this week. Figure it will save me the 2.5% exchange fee charged to me on my current card.
Kids still think their next cruise will be on the Dream in the fall of 2011! I hope they won't be TOO disappointed with the surprise of this one!:rotfl:

Two days before Christmas, My DD18 went SNOWBOARDING for the 1st time in her life. Her equipment rental included a helmet. However, she CHOSE NOT to wear it, as it felt like it was choking her under her chin. Long story made short, she fell, hit her head, ended up with not just a whip lash effect on her neck and shoulders, but also with a bad concussion! We had her to the doctor who said she was VERY lucky (no kidding). Her headache is finally gone, and I thank our lucky stars it didn't end up badly. I was annoyed with her as it's not like she was ignorent of the dangers, she KNEW about Natasha Richardson, who had a very similar accident here on our hills last year, and wasn't so lucky. UGGGHHHH, teens! (meaning mine)

Oh, and as for cold? Well here it's currently 0 degrees F but with the wind chill, it feels more like a few degrees lower than that! I just made up and ordered a calendar for 2010, using scenic photos from our cruise last month. So when time seems to be going slowly, I'll just have to look at the photo on the Calendar, and daydream for a bit. THat should help.

We couldnt even hit Topsiders at the right time.

And I thought we were the only ones! ;) Not fun when you get the chicken tenders urge and Pluto's is closed!

I like the idea of meeting at the GOOFY POOL with Breakfast.

Me too! :thumbsup2

I am about ready to work on my clothes chart.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ALONG WITH THIS.....I am a crazy nut.....and i like to match in some sort of way every day no matter if we are at sea or port or dinner or not even together.........CASUE you never know when thee could be a picture.
SO we all 4 have to be matching all the time
We dont have to have the exact same thing on but.....same colors etc....
It takes me awhile to get that all togehter,
Oh me too, I am just wacky that way. ;)
I am really behind the 8 Ball for RCCL- I still have some formal stuff to buy. Was waiting for the after-christmas sales since we didn't have a lot of extra money before the holidays but the dresses I had my eye on that were on sale then are not on sale now. But then we just got the brakes done on the van and $500 later.....(sigh) Got some Kohls cash around here somewhere too burning a hole in my pocket. I am *so*ready to get ready to get onboard! :yay:
Really interested in this not sure how it works but always up for something new:cool1:The 1st is also brandon's birthday.
The Dis-O-Treat...Lynn (Dizzi) and Leslie (LsJones) are working on that one. We haven't decided for sure if it will be a scavenger hunt style Trick or Treat or more of a get together party yet. But we do know it will have Disers and Treats. :rotfl2:
Ok went and sent a request to join it should be Jennifer Hall-Roy
I did see the first post...Thanks for getting everything so organized! I just wanted to make sure we didn't miss something.
Got your request! :) There has been a lot of activity lately that I had missed. And we're up to 34 peeps! Right On! :goodvibes
Good enough for me!! knewton64 is in charge of PJ Breakfast! :thumbsup2
I'll second that! Go, Kris!
OMG I am so glad she is OK!!! Scary!!!! :eek:
I know where to find them online. . .
dizzi's issue is when we are on the cruise - and she is out and about without her navigator - she doesn't know where she can go eat so all she has is "fast food"
I think they are posted somewhere on deck 9 but I can't think of where :confused3
Wow! You guys have been busy posting! We made it back from our US/IoA/BG/SW trip - it was fun - but not Disney! We were actually ready to come home! Christmas was great - as usual :santa: Hope everyone else had a great holiday as well!
:bday: to Knewton! (I think he said it was 12/30!)
Sorry to see GoMetros go! You guys will be missed!
:welcome: to all of the newcomers! Looking forward to getting to know you!
I hope everyone has a wonderfully HAPPY NEW YEAR! :jumping1:
10 months until we cruise!! :cheer2:
please do tell .....
love your stories
what was the pitch
.....that evening, it just came to me so I called them up and left a voice mail (as part of the contest & they pick the winner). I pretended to be an lounge lizard radio announcer reading a radio spot (and doing it very badly) while using key phrases such as the name of the radio station, the word "we" in saying, "We play what wii want," etc.
Just then, a phantom person off mike interrupts me. I pretend to be interrupted, then correct myself through reading the radio spot CORRECTLY since previously I was "reading it" backwards!:lmao:
So, the radio spot came off as if I was reading the thing upside down and someone had to come into the room and point out to me that I was reading it wrong. I "corrected the error" (making sure I crinkled the paper to let the listener know I had turned the paper right side up) and read it again as if I did nothing wrong; all the while reading it like a lounge lizardpopcorn::.
They liked it and sent me an e-mail telling me I had won.
gotta love it:goodvibes.
....."bear" with me since I am attempting to begin to get the PJ breakfast & such up and off the ground (and yes, I welcome ideas) but to begin with - I need comments from everyone who is interested on:
1) what day for the PJ breakfast?
2) what day for the meet & greet?
I feel once we obtain enough input, then we can take it from there BUT - please be aware that we are a large group and we need to be flexible :hippie:.
Moreover, I desire to take all input and begin to narrow it down the closer we get to the date of departure.
rest assured, I am here & anyone can easily get ahold of me via a pm, e-mail or a posting on this thread.:goodvibes.
Wine tasting? Now that sounds good! I am off to a bit of that at Hooks (Disneyland) in a few more weeks and am looking forward to that and more as u can all read along (if ya want) in my below trip report dated titled, "If I were a Fraggle..."
on a related note,
Gotta love it! I haven't SEEN the movie, "Aladdin" and we are also going to see that (MUSICAL?) as well at the Disneyland area. I made a request at my local library for the movie and it will be ready for check out Tues of next week:thumbsup2.
Hey.....I gotta do my research for this upcoming trip ya know?:rotfl:.
1) what day for the PJ breakfast?
Since we already have the D-O'T going on Monday (Sea day #1) My vote goes for Sea Day #2 Thursday.
We could do it on a port day if need be, but it would have to be early I'm thinking. (or also Sunday is a late arrival in KW right? Noon, IIRC? That would work too.)
2) what day for the meet & greet?
Traditionally that is done embarkation day. I'm down with that. I like the idea of doing the group photo then too since everyone (who plans on it) will be in their T-shirts and such.
Just my $0.02! :rolleyes1
I love that musical! :love: It was the best. If you've been to the Nemo show at AK, which is a great show, you'll be surprised at how much more they do during Aladdin, but they do the same kind of thing where they have the actors walk around the middle section at some point in the show. Take that into consideration when picking your seats. Have fun!
