We have worn matching T-shirts on most of our cruises.

On our first 7 day cruise (2003) we wore matching Disney T-shirts. Catherine was only 11, Sarah was born the following year.

In 2004 we wore matching Fourth of July T-shirts(can't find group photo with shirts).

In 2005 (Thanksgiving - Catherine's Birthday Cruise - turned 13) matching Disney patriotic shirts.

In August 2006 we wore matching All Seasons Travel Shirts. Photo taken on master bed, Roy E. Disney Royal Suite.

In August 2008 we brought the Magic back to FL (15 cruise). We had breakfast at StoryTellers Cafe, Grand Californian the morning before taking a bus to the port of Los Angeles. As you can see no matching t-shirts.

More 15 day Repo Cruise pictures

In case anyone cares - there is a CAT 3 stateroom that became available yesterday
I can't afford that at this time - so - here is the info from our TA . . .
(I guess I should mention that we are currently in a CAT 4)

A category 3 opened up. The cabin is 8600 which is a wheelchair accessible room
which means there is no tub just a shower and the balcony has a 4ft solid wall it is also larger.
To upgrade to this cabin would be $5340 more

We have a mid-ship cat 3 (8532) which we love. Had the same room for the 15 day repo. Catherine asked what room we will be in. I told the same as the Repo. She said, I can't remember what it looks like. I told her you spent 15 days in a room and you don't remember what it looks like. ;) :confused3

Anyway, it is a great room, but agreed, very pricey. Sometimes I think I need my head examined for spending that much on a stateroom. :rotfl2:

Okay, I managed to keep the secret about the cruise from the children for an amazingly long time. But now the beans are officially spilled and the twins are super excited. I made a countdown board with the HD mickey ears and they get to take turns removing one each day. I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload a photo off of my newly created photobucket account and place it here. I even watched the disboard tutorial by webmaster Will, which shows you how clueless I am when it comes to technology. I do know how to post on FB so I put the picture on our cruise FB page. Thanks to Judy and others who gave me the mickey ears idea. I love that it will give my girls something fun to do every day in anticipation of all the great times we will have in 140+ days!

So how did the conversation go, when the beans were spilled? Did you tell them in any kind of magical way? Well, I guess telling them about a Disney Trip in any which way is actually Magical, lol. I still haven't told my boys, I'm doing good! We talk about a cruise for next year, Maybe, and they still have NO CLUE about this years trip. Think I can hold out till the day OF?

I told them that Tinkerbell whispered to mommy and daddy that a cruise to go defeat Captain Hook needed to happen. They knew immediately it meant we were going on a disney cruise! I'll send an umbrella drink your way pool-side if you manage to keep the secret from your boys until your great October reveal! :) Oh yeah, the funny thing about the story is that Hope wondered how big Tinkerbell really was when she flew into our bedroom and told us about Captain Hook. Amazing the things children that age focus on! My answer: Tink is the size of Daddy's fingernail when she magically appears. So the girls just hopped on the kindergarten bus chatting about mommy and daddy's fairy encounter!!!!!!!!!!

Would love, love, love this (currently we're cat. 5 wheelchair accessible room) but the price tag is more than I'm willing to spend. I can see why this is one offer that you put back on the rack for another shopper.

I would be more than willing to spend it - IF I had it. . .

Wow, you folks must have some serious pixie dust going on here!:woohoo: Not 20 minutes after you all commented on the one family not having main seating, my TA emailed to say they had been moved from late to main!:cool1:

You all are REALLY good! Thanks! Now, I can't wait to see what a table for 13 looks like!:rotfl:

Thanks!:yay:

We are travelling with my mom and kids nanny on this trip (4 AD + 3 CH) in two cabins. I too am keeping this trip a secret from my little ones....they think we are going to FL for a vacation to stay at a hotel. I'll tell them that we are going to see grandma in Melbourne, and when we go over the bridge and see the Magic, I'll tease them asking "Don't you wish you were going there today?" Of course, they will say yes, and beg me.....and I'll say "Yes, we are going!!" (I plan on bringing ear plugs for this one....hope DH doesn't drive off the road).... If this works, do I qualify the poolside drink?

I do have a general question.....if I order the classic wine package, can I order more than 1 bottle of wine a night? A bottle of white (for me & hubby) and a bottle of red (for my mom).

LOVE that countdown Beth! Both girls look totally excited, although the one more than the other in that photo.

I post on these boards and my sons are in the room often during these times, and NEVER look at what I'm doing! They know I do disigning, so perhaps that what helps them remain so clueless. I'm more surprised I've been able to keep it contained, as that is usually NOT me at all! :)

Excellent news! Glad it worked out for you.

My family hasn't been to Cozumel before. We're thinking about going to Nachi Cocom as I've read some good things about it on the boards. My kids aren't ready for deep water yet so we want to go to a nice beach with clean facilities and food/drink provided. We just want to lounge in our chairs, play in the shallow water and watch the kids build sandcastles! The price looks great compared to some of the costlier DCL excursions in Cozumel. Any pros and cons? Anybody else considering going to Nachi Cocom? Or is there another place that you recommend?

Beth

Is Nachi Cocom a DCL excursion? I might be interested in that.

OR:
What I've been looking at is Paradise Beach. Free admission, Beach chairs rent for $2.00 and for $12.00 per person you can have access to ALL beach toys, inflatable climbing structures and snorkeling equipment. The food and drink prices at the bar seem quite reasonable too. The beach looks beautiful.
I think going here would involve a bus ride.

We did Paradise Beach in 10/08 and it was GREAT!! We took a taxi van to the beach (about 15 min ride) and they waited at the beach for us, until we were done and ready to go. This was great as it pretty much guaranteed us a ride back to the port. The kids LOVED the iceburg and trampoline in the water. The food was good too! We plan on doing this again this cruise!

I was considering doing the Dolphin Kids at Dolphinaris excursion, because I thought since it said age 4 and that the kids would be on a partially submerged platform, not fully submerged in water, that it would work for DS. Others who had taken this excursion said the kids do not swim. However, the passporter book says age 4, but that kids have to know how to swim? :confused3 I'm not sure now whether we can do this, which would be a disappointment to DD. And I don't think it would be fair to DS to let DD do it and make him be just an observer with DH and me.

All the other excursions, with the exception of the beach days, have age restrictions that do not include our DS.

I suppose I should call DCL to check. Except, I don't always get the correct info from them, you know what I mean?
