First, thanks to you all for the get well wishes and prayers for my father-in-law.
Second, and this is the great news, my father-in-law woke up today!!He is not able to speak or move most of his body, yet, but he moves his toes on command. He seems to recognize my wife and mother-in-law.
He has a long road to recovery but we are hopeful that the whole family will be able to enjoy a Disney Cruise in the not too distant future.
Thanks to all and I hope you have a great cruise,
Brian
Wow, that is wonderful news. Best wishes for everything, I really hope you get to start that new countdown to cruising very soon

prep/staging, the temperature goes back into the mid 80's and I put it off again. Even went swimming at a friend's pool on Saturday. Much later than usual, but wonderful.
except that in the wheelchair her feet can't be together because they need to go up on the foot steps on each side of the chair. Good thing I've got a touch of her creative streak!

The bags are JUST about packed; but because they are too heavy; we'll have to add another bag to our arsenal. Hopefully, Mom's working on the Halloween costumes-though like I've said to my hubby...I won't be suprised if she's finishing them up as we drive to the airport...she likes to work under pressure.
will have his birthday party this weekend;
and the next weekend we start October. The boys' chain countdown is now just as tall as they are (we started the countdown around 200; I think...it's been so long now). It all seems so very real.
