You can add us to the MNSSHP 29th list. A very busy 24 hours for us: MNSSHP party Friday afternoon into evening, Chef Mickeys Saturday morning, and a DCL bus to the cruise port! Probably be wiped out by early Saturday evening. :rotfl2:

Missy picked up Sarah from school and they went shopping at our favorite store (wait a minute...outside of the Disney store that is). Target has the TinkerBell movie two-pack (Blue-Ray and regular DVD) for $22.99 so among other things we now have the latest movie, as expected. So far it looks pretty good, love the BlueRay picture.

Are you actually able to walk from the family Beach, along the Beach, to Serenity Bay? On this map it looks connected to me . . .

I'm happy to see that tall structure is an "observation tower" - I had heard people crying that it was a cell phone tower

Thanks for posting!!

There actually is another NEW tower, not sure if it's a cell phone tower (wouldn't think so, but who know's), and it's disguised as a palm tree. You can see a photo of it in the Picture of the Day thread. The Palm tree stretches way up, taller than all surrounding trees, you can't miss it!:)

Update, I went and found it, here it is:

Do you think that is the "observation tower" back and to the right of the beautiful palm tree?

If thats the 1st family beach in the photo, then I think thats the wrong side of the island for the observation tower. I really dont' know. Anyone else have any idea?:)

I don't know, that huge palm tree sure does look like a cell phone tower. It looks just like the cell tower "trees" here, except the ones in New York are all "evergreens", of course.

Is it possible enough people felt the need to be able to use their cell phones, kindles and laptops that they decided to add this? I may use my kindle on CC, but I download all the books before I leave home. And I personally have no use for my cell phone or my laptop when I am on vacation!

I'm totally not trying to care (YEAH RIGHT) but we have 3333333333300000000000000000 days left!!. I think I may be a little (LOT) excited (TONS) about going to WdW & the Cruise. I definitely can (CAN'T) wait! ;) And yes the ticker is off!

Thanks for the info! I need to go to Target for a bleach pen and dental floss for my tie dye t-shirts, maybe I'll go after school drop off tomorrow morning ;)

Ooooh, they look so good!

I did a test on a 50/50 t-shirt - I need to use smaller basting stitches, and definitely dental floss, but it came out really nice with the Dharma dyes!

We're going to MNSSHP, too- on Thursday the 28th. Think we are still going as a family of mustaches...:upsidedow 13 year old boys and their CRAZY ideas!!!

Love the lanyards, Jen!! And thanks for that CC map! AWESOME!! Timmy and I went up to that obsevation tower last time, too- you're right, it has great view and makes for a cool photo from the top.

Pods & I are leaving on Friday morning for 5 nights at AKV Concierge- that's if I survive speaking to all the parents tonight at BTS night!! :rotfl: I'm only a little nervous....

Anyway, I purchased some stuff to make my FE Gifts with today- I am SO EXCITED for our cruise!!! :yay:

That's awesome....love it! Have fun on your trip down here this weekend. It's still stupid hot. ;)

:) So the DH came home from work today with a 7 foot long gorgeous wood Drapery rod. I asked him "Whats that for" and he replied, "THIS is for my FE on the ship"! :rotfl2:

He picked it up for our front living room window. There are just sheers there right now, and the afternoon sun shines SO brightly in there, plus no privacy at night. Now we just have to get the drapes!

Question for all you ladies:
I have my formal and semi formal dresses. Just nice dresses, not ballgown style. Both are Black, one has some color in it, but still a lot of black. I have NO shoes to wear with it, unless I wear my creamy white dressy sandels. Do you think they will be ok, or should I go shopping for What? I'm not one to wear heels, my feet don't like them. A small heel is fine. But what color? The other thing, is I don't know if the stores here will sell summer type dress shoes at this time of year. If not, I suppose I can always shop in Orlando prior to our cruise.
I got both my boys clothes ALL packed today. Everything is in the suitcase and put back in the basement, waiting to go into the van in 4 weeks. So one down, one to go, plus a suitcase for some of the FE stuff and the pirate costumes and whatever my boys will be wearing for Halloween! :)

The sandals sound fine to me, but if you were looking to buy more my vote is for something strappy and black. Just a warning-most of the summery shoes, sandals, thongs, etc. have already started disappearing from stores down here. I had to get the girls some new white sandals and had to order them online- couldn't find anything in the store at all. (Of course that is just Tar-jay....it might be easier in Orlando -especially at some of the Outlets)

I'd go with a basic black shoe. Have you checked Sears online? they deliver to local stores here in Canada (for instance, for me, they deliver to my local vacuum store right around the corner). They have some great shoes for under $40 and have an excellent return policy.

You might want to check the Alia Patent and Croco-look Peep Toe Pumps on sale for $24.99. or the Tender Tootsies Women's Leather-look Sling-back Fashion Sandals $34.99. I really like the tender tootsies brand - being a large woman, it's difficult to find a shoe that has any kind of heel that I can tolerate for any length of time. My one pair of heels that I do wear (for special occasions) is that brand.
