DD is in London now, then heads to Germany, then heads to Italy for work...tough life!!!
MJ
Oh, that stinks that she can't join us but it sounds like such a wonderful opportunity!!!
I think I will send it on Friday, 10/22 via UPS. do you think that's enough time?
Be sure to send it air, not ground...then it should be fine.
WOW!!! Jen, they're amazing!!! I wouldn't have a clue on how to make them.
Blimey, they are amazing! I am super impressed - I would not have the first clue

. We will be the family in the non-matching, boring outfits I am afraid
Jen, they really came out great! How did you elasticize yours? I don't know why I had so much bleeding on mine...
Here are ours. They came out *okay* but I like the iron on ones better

None of these have been touched up with a bleach pen.
I'm so jealous of the tye dye! They're gorgeous! I'm still trying ot decide what I'm going to do. I want some sort of costume I can use on land and sea.
Thanks everyone!!!

I have added bows to the girls' dresses and it was almost disaster when I was heat sealing the ends. Let's just say it's a good thing there is some black on those outfits, 'cause now there's some black on the bows!!!
Jennifer I think your shirts are awesome and I can't wait to see them with the jack-o lantern faces!!!
When I cinched my heads I tied them off super tightly with about 3-4 rubber bands and they almost made a collar, like a narrow rib that was about an inch wide. I also used a whole lot of plastic to try to keep the bleeding in check- I cut a little slit in the middle of a sandwich bag and slid the MH through and kept it like a skirt between the MH and the rest of the cloth, then after dyeing the MH I wrapped another sandwich bag around the top and then sealed all of it with the Glad Wrap N Seal stuff with even more rubber bands at the bottom (over the plastic).
Hi there everyone! I have 2 "very" important questions today:
#1 is for my DH. Can he bring his
DCL beer mug back on the ship for the "cheap" refills????
#2 is for me.... What is the best/cheapest way to get to Downtown Disney from the Hyatt at MCO? We are thinking about having dinner at the House of Blues.
TIA!!!!

Kristen
I don't know the answer to #2, sorry..... but definitely bring the mug! Thanks for reminding me, I need to pack my souvenir drink of the day glasses!!!
I'm sorry! It's been a crazy week and I haven't been checking in very often - I must've missed your post. Where are y'all meeting up at
MNSSHP on the 28th? We have a 4:30 appointment at Harmony Barber Shop for DS's first haircut, and then have a 5:00 ressie at The Plaza for dinner. We'll be staying until close, as this is our only visit to MK before heading to the port.
That's OK...we haven't finalized anything yet, just tossing around ideas!

I thought the one thing I could count on was being in the dwarves line but Ron is grumbling at that so now I'm not sure.

We will eat prior to the party so we don't have ADR's or anything like that. I promised no commando but I probably should try to at least make a semblance of a game plan, as it will be a very busy night. About all I know now is we will arrive at 4, we will see one of the parades, we will see Hallowishes and we will Trick or Treat....
I did not get any real packing done this weekend but I did get everything organized and an inventory of the new clothing done so I can get started on laundry. I got the job I've been dreading mostly complete, and that is the organization and candy distribution for the ToT. I still have a little bit more to do there, but the worst of it is out of the way.
Hopefully I can accomplish a lot this week, as next weekend is a total wash with dance and football taking up the entire day Saturday and a cheer competition for Sav taking the whole day on Sunday. Of course I work Fri night/Sat morning too!
