Is anybody else having problems getting any resort to show up? I have searched two different dates and keep getting "there is no availablity". I know every room at WDW can't be full!

Your arrive date has to fall within the range of dates listed for FD or the site comes up with no availablity

Wooohooooo just got free dining!!!! Checking in on October 7th!!!! Got it for the whole time even though it's a black out from the 8th on.... I am SOOOOO happy!!!!!! Good luck to everyone who is trying!

Sooo excited, we got the free dining too!!! Yay! With a family of 7, it saves us a small fortune! Now I don't feel as guilty about dishing out more $ for MVMCP and SeaWorld!! I was hoping and praying for this!!

So sorry for those who aren't able to get it due to the blackout dates. So not fair!

I called again, the Free dining does not help us we are going from Nov 1 - 12, and the black out dates are there. I also was told there was a Pin out there for our dates but he could not tell me what it was for and that we DID NOT HAVE ONE.......

Any advise from the Board....Just wondering if we should switch to off property and look for better rates. I know your paying for conveince, but we are not rich by anymeans and a discount of some kind would be great.

And these are just check in dates!!!! We just got ours changed!!! It works for the our full stay!!! Since we are checking in on a non blackout day!!!!! 11/30/2010 FD covered for the full stay11/30/2010 - 12/11/2010 !!!! Much bigger savings than the 30% off the room rate!!!! So pumped that happedned today!!!! The only bummer was we had to change resorts, but it is worth it to us. We were at POFQ and now are back a CBR. Stayed at CBR may times before and love it, but POFQ was going to be new to us so were were excited about trying somthing new! But like I said can't complain we wanted FD and got it so we are also happy to move back to CBR!!!! Hope everone can make this work for them!!!!

Also I think it said (not 100% sure) only at select resorts, So I am thinking not all or the mods are included? As I only got the option for CBR or CSR for our dates??

Our trip is scheduled from November 18 - 25. November 18, of course, is the last day in one of the Free Dining jonts.

I called first thing this morning to take advantage of the special. The CM that I got said that because my trip didn't fall within the dates of the special that I could only have free dining for that day. Boo.

As I began reading on this board and others, I kept seeing past threads that said that if your date falls within one of the spans, you can take advantage of the FD beyond for 10 days.

I called back and got another CM. Sure enough, it DOES apply. Saved me $440.84.

Yay! The 2010 Free Dining promotion has again been extended into December.

Specs

■You must book a full-price WDW vacation package, checking in *most nights* on these dates: August 15 – October 7, 2010, October 22-October 28, 2010, November 12-18, 2010, November 27 – December 2, 2010 and December 10-21, 2010.
■You must stay at least three consecutive nights at an official Walt Disney World hotel (i.e., a hotel that is owned and operated by Walt Disney World) and at least a 2-day theme park ticket.
■If you stay in a Value Resort: You’ll receive the Magic Your way Plus Quick Service Dining package for the price of a standard Magic Your Way package. You can upgrade to the regular Dining Plan for $10 per adult per night and $2 per child (age 3-9) per night, or you can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $40 per adult per night and $12 per child per night.
■If you stay in a Moderate, Deluxe, or Villas Resort: You’ll receive the Magic Your Way Plus Dining package for the price of a standard Magic Your Way package. You can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $30 per adult per night and $10 per child per night most nights. Upgrade cost if you’re staying between December 17-21 is $25 per adult per night and $9 per child per night.

Stephanie, Call back the last line says you can get it. My trip starts October 7th the last day before a blackout period and I now have free dining. Call back ASAP.

We did a one night stay at CSR a couple years ago. It's nice but HUGE! I'd ask for a room close to the lobby (and restaurants) if you want quick access. There are bus stops at various spots around the outside rim of the parking lot. We were a LONG way from the pool, but you can also hop the bus from one stop to another to get there.

I considered a moderate for the full service free dining, but just need to keep it as cheap as possible, so I stayed with POP and upgraded the dining. Still a decent amount less than a moderate. And the POP just seems so festive all the time..... My only gripe is how FAR the bus stop is away from the MK gates!

We won't be in our room much either. We're doing MVMCP twice. Are you doing MNSSHP?

We stayed at POP a few years back and it was fine. It is a fun theme. Last time we stayed at CBR and loved it even though it was large. I don't know if CSR is that large. My husband is facing a knee replacement when we get back over the winter so walking is a bummer for him.

We are not doing MNSSHP this time. We did it 3 years ago. With the kids as teens now, we would rater spend the $ on something else.

I was booked from Oct. 8 - 17. I called and switched my arrival date to the 7th and got free dining for my whole stay. We will probably not change our flight and still arrive on the 8th. Has anyone done this before? We have relatives that will be down there the day before us, can they check us in so that our room is waiting for us when we get there since we will be paying for it from the day prior?

We have ressies but the CM told me we have to cancel them, refund our cards, then make a deposit separately if we want to get FD w/ a MYW. Sure thing, except the card I used was a rebate card that expired two months ago. I have to wait until that mess gets sorted out before I get my money back. Now I am going to have to wait until DH gets paid (Thursday) before I can book my room and the CM said "I sure hope we have FD by then" Do you really think it will be gone by then? What's the quickest FD promo rooms have gone?

Thanks for any advice. I almost wish we still had credit cards... Ugh.

I would wait another week before you cancel if you can just to make sure you are not part of the "July 13th" crowd with the free dining pin for late November through mid December! There might be additional dates or different pin codes, not sure.

Every single CM tells a different story. This will be the third one since last week that has told me that there is a secret code on a family members account but they cannot tell me exactly what it is yet. Some of them have said that it might be released on July 13th, so next week maybe. This particular CM offered up this information after much prodding but she did not let me add free dining even though my last day falls within the discounted days in December. She said that in order to count towards the dining, it had to be at the beginning of the trip and not the end.

I have not tried to call again - I will wait another week and see what the outcome is. Good luck to everyone!

Some resorts or certain room types or views might be sold out, but not all. Also, I thought you had a certain number of days to pay the deposit...are you sure you have to pay it today? Call back & ask a different CM.

We were already booked into POFQ from 11/29 to 12/10 and put on the DP to our reservations in hope that we could get free dining if it came out (still would keep DP if it was not free). Well the offer came out all right, however my dates were blocked out for the POFQ due to no rooms available. Only Moderate opening for the free dining for my stay is CBR, but there is talk that Pop Warner will be there during that time and we did not want that. We asked if any Deluxe Resort openings and sure enough, got Animal Kingdom Lodge with the free dining and costing us $300 less then what we originally had at POFQ. First time at a Deluxe.... CANT WAIT!!!!!!

OK forget what I said!!! I just got the confirm e mail from my TA and to my suprize she got some pixie dust for us today and we were able to keep PO Frech Quarter as our resort with the Free Dinning offer for our dates!!!! She made our day!!! I hope everyone else is about to make there plans work for the free dinning!!
