I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations. I was asking about any pin codes that would be attached to my name. I had one that was for Free Dinning Dates Oct 3-Nov. 23. He tried to apply it to my reservation and had to put me on hold to talk to someone. He could not get the code to come up. The Pin is not good until 7/13. He also said that is was not good for any of the value resorts. He said to call back on 7/13 to have it applied to my ressie. I'm not sure if I will use it though I was just looking for a room discount for 10/28-31. Maybe this means free dinning is coming for those that want it!

Ah, I wondered how the discounts came. So they email them to you when a discount is available, is there any notice given or the email comes and you book that day? Thanks!

I only knew it was coming b/c of the disboards. We got the email 3 days prior to FD going to general public and thats pretty much what the disboards said would happen. love the dis! so yes, you would want to book it asap. we are hoping for dec. FD and disney visa will most likely release it first, historically speaking

If I have my vacation booked through Disney already does that mean they WON'T send me a pin?

I have received pins after already booking. Sometimes they didnt get used because the dates didnt work, but I did get them. I have already booked our dec trip as well. The cm that I talked with said he wouldnt worry, that a deal would be announced sometime.
Fingers crossed.

Just hoping for a room rate discount 11/2-11/6......anyone know why that week has nothing? I had recieved a pin and the weeks before and after were available but not that one???

My guess would be that the dates you are referring to is considered "Jersey Week"....

Hmm I guess this all depends on the CM you speak to... I called yesterday to see if there were any pins attached to my name and the CM checked came back and said ntohing is attached. I then asked if there were any discounts up and coming... he said i'm not at liberty to tell you that.. then rudely said is there anything else I can help you with.... You know its not like they don't already have my reservation and full payment... really I'm going regardless just wanted to try and save a $$!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for any kind of a discount!

If you check in on a day that free dining was offerred, but then your trip extended over a period when it was NOT offerred, did you still get free dining for your entire trip?

If I remember right, the answer was YES, up to 10 days.. can anyone confirm that?

Yes...as long as you check in on or before the last day you can have FD for a max of 14 days.
