My DH finally said we can go if they extend FD thru Dec!!!! (only way we can really afford to go) We would do POP dec. 8-15th! Now I really need some pixie dust!!! come on FD!!!!

thats the dates I'm looking at too, give or take 1. Free dining is I think the onlywway I can get DH to go to. But he's still leary.

You may want to pop over to the restaurant reservations board. It seems folks have been able to make their dining reservations at 190 days out instead of 180 +10 which means you can make them now.

It was a system glitch that now appears to have been resolved.

Not sure if it is a system glitch or yet unannounced change in policy, but people are definitely still able to book 190 days from their arrival date, not 180.

i don't think it is a glitch. CRT is available to book online, but they have made it so you can't do it 190 days ahead liek you can with the rest of them. This means if they wanted to prevent people from making them at 190, they obviously can.

We are trying to see if we can afford to go 11/11 - 11/15. No way it can be done without a free dining offer. (not even sure we can swing it with the offer!!)

I don't like waiting.

So, I woke up this morning feeling like something was in the air - maybe this was the day disounts came out! - but no!!! Just the same old same old 10/2 dates. Arggh! I used to think I was a patient person! Perhaps I need some counseling! Discount watcher junkies unite!

We are greedy. We not only want Free Dining extended we want 14 nites from Nov 28th thru December 11th. It is what we had last year.

Hey, longer stay, more money for Disney and they do not have the fuss and muss of having 4 or more families move in and out of a room. Hope they see it that way too.

I just called to upgrade my resort (went from ASMu to PO-FQ....YAY!) and spoke with the nicest CM. He said not to give up hope on FD for this time of year....something is in the works!! I hope this is true and he wasnt just trying to make conversation. He even told me how much I will save if FD does come out and told me to keep my eyes and ears open.

I hope so!! I called last night to make a change to my Dec ressie. The CM asked my if I wanted to add dining. I jokingly told him I was waiting for the FD to come out. He said oh that only goes through Oct 2 and they never offer FD in December. I told him they have had it for the last 2 years in December. He had no clue...it amazes me how some of them have no idea what they are talking about. And he said he was not a new employee. I hope your CM is correct!!!

I see you live in Davidson. My DS13 will be going there for the Duke TIP program in a few weeks.

He'll love it, it's a great little town! I don't know if they get to leave campus, but there's lots of small restaurants and college stores nearby. I just wish it wasn't so hot already!

I am waiting too! Just found this thread and am excited to be on board. I waited and waited on the other thread until FD came out and was a nut about it. I don't know why - I knew it wouldn't extend to my late October dates!

I currently have no discount. Booked a package and have airfare so anything will be great but really want FD!!!

I called earlier this week and had a pin attached to my name. I got 40% off for the first week of December at the Beach Club. I did have to get a water view room because there were no standard rooms available. Oh darn. I just kept calling every few days. Good luck.
