Well, it doesn't seem like anyone has been here for a while, but I thought I would let you know we are all ok. Our dryer caught on fire the morning of October 26. The girls and I were home, I was able to get everyone out and get an extinguisher on it and call 911 at the same time. Then my neighbor came over with two double extinguishers, so we had the equivilant of 5 fire extinguishers on it before the fire department even got there. They said the whole house would have gone up in flames if we hadn't. The fire ivestigator said that it was a dryer malfunction (Kenmore/sears bought in 2004, in case anyone cares). We have been in a hotel suite for 2 weeks now, but we "may" get to move back in later this week. They are still doing construction and painting,but it might be deemed livable in the next few days.
I hope everyone else is doing ok and staying healthy. We've had quite an outbreak of H1N1 here, even a child death from it. Use that hand sanitizer! Mindi, I will put you and your family in our thoughts and prayers!

I am so glad that both you and your neighbors were around and ready to act. If that much damage was done when the fire was tackled immediately, it does not bear thinking about what would have happened if nobody had been around. I hope that you can move back soon. We spent 6 weeks in a hotel in 2007, because we had to move out of the place we had been renting and there was a delay with the place we were buying and it definitely was not fun.

DH came down with Swine Flu pretty much as soon as we got back to the UK. I was teasing him mercilessly that he had man flu, but it turned out to be a bit more serious than that. Still, as flu goes, this was really mild and he is back to normal now apart from a stubborn lingering cough. Throughout I was in very close proximity to him, but did not catch it. Hopefully this means that I am immune to it.

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Things have calmed down some! Thomas had tonsil surgery last week and he is almost back to his chipper self. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Hi guys, I'm know this is kinda late but I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me. My fiance and I went on the Disney magic 10/03/2009 to 10/10/2009 to Western Caribbean. And He proposed to me on the cruise during the pirate show on stage and I am wondering if anyone has a copy of it. There was a lady we met from South Carolina supposing has a copy, she was gonna send it to me. but I never got it. and I don't have her contact.

If you still have a video or even a photo of us on stage, I would love to have a copy. THanks.

I do not have any video, but I would suggest that you contact the moderator of this particular link and see if she can send out a mass email to our group. Or, she may still have the websit up with our emails on it. You'll have to send one to each individually, but when it's something as important as an engagement on film, it's worth the trouble, right?! Good luck and congrats!!!

I am soooo sorry I do not have a copy. I do remember him proposing to you though. That was AWESOME!!! I do hope you find someone that has a copy for you. Oh, and CONGRATS on your engagement!!!!

Hi...I got your PM but I think what the other poster meant was to contact the person who put the website together for this particular thread. the MODS do not have the capability of sending out a mass email to a particular group of people on a thread (that I know of).

Look back towards the beginning of the this thread and see who put the "list" of cruisers together for this cruise....PM them and see if the website is still up and running and maybe they have contact info for everyone.

Good luck with your search and congrats. If I find out from the other mods another way to do it I will let you know.

I wish I had a copy of it! I remember watching too and tearing up, that was so sweet! I remember how nervous your fiance seemed and thinking how brave he was to do it in front of the whole ship. The most orgazined person from our thread and the one who made all the lists of people is Michelle, I'm not sure if she would have everyones e-mail or not, but it's worth a shot. Thank you all for the replies,

It's amazing that there are so many responses so quickly. This forum has been very helpful, compared to using Facebook or Youtube. We tried those methods for months are received little to no responses. Yet got 4-5 msgs within the day.

We are planning to do the wedding locally, with family with friends. It would be great to do a cruise but unfortunately don't think all of our guests would be able to make it, it would be kind of impossible.

But thanks for all the help, any more information would be great. We've begun pm / email individuals on this thread thanks guys!
