Michelle. Mindi is correct, Fenway next year and Mexican reveria in 2. Looks like we will leave Boston and fly to Orlando as we r planning to go to universal for fall break next year. We will go to Boston for his birthday and then meet the boys in flordia for family vacation. What a week that will be.
Getting boys hair cuts tonight and still doing homework. It has been a crazy Monday.

We just found out today that Thomas will need to have his tonsils and adnoids out plus a little sinus surgery the week before Thanksgiving! Poor little guy.

I need to call Disney and see about moving reservation. Does anyone know if by changing I need to pay the full deposit? If we do then may have to wait till after Christmas.

I know people who moved dummy dates to the cruises with higher deposits had to pay the difference right then - and if they had half-off when they originally booked they lost that and had to pay the full amount of the deposit.

Kim, if you don't have a disney travel agent, I have one I can recommend too. You also usually get an additional onboard credit when you transfer to the travel agent!!!! I like that point.

PS His surgery is at the new ambulatory surgery center in Murfreesboro. We have nextwork S so we can't go to HCA hospital.

Good Afternoon everyone...well everyone who still checks the DIS...LOL Today it's freezing!! and I have a wedding to go to. Normally I wear dresses and had planned on wearing the black one I wore on Pirate night but it's sleeveless....Brrrrrrr So I may have to steer away from my norm and wear plazzo dress pants and a nice blouse or something.

Do you know I have to say that it is so much fun getting on here and reading whatever people wrote and as I read Kim's I hear that cute southern draw, and as I read Corinna's I hear that elegant English accent, and as I read Norma and Robin...well I won't say ..... just kidding my girls....I hear ur cute voices too. I just think it's funny though how since I met or ran into most of you at least once...how now I can hear u in my head......or is that my own little voices??

Oh how cute Nelia was just now playing with her babies and showing them the "I am on vacation " dance.....LOL God I miss the Magic!

I just posted a bunch of cruise photos over on Facebook (finally)!

We went to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights on Thursday - it is definitely not MNSSHP. We had a great time! Loved the haunted houses and the Bill & Ted show. The whole party is very adult oriented and we were happy to see there really weren't very many children there.

Friday we went to Food and Wine festival again and ate our way around the world in reverse. When we went last time we started towards Mexico so by the time we got to Canada we were too full to try anything over there so we reversed direction this time. I posted a bunch of pics from it on FB too.

Well, I am back again. I came back from my vacation a week ago, but I have been really busy. We had a great time and I will start working on a trip report as soon as I can. I have also taken loads of photos and will add those to the trip report.

While I was on the Magic, I booked the Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise for next year. We had originally planned to do both Transatlantic cruises. This is still what I intend to do. However, DH has decided that he really does not like sea days and that he will go stir crazy if he is doing two cruises with so many sea days. He is still committed to the Westbound Transatlantic and I will do the Eastbound solo. I am little worried about doing this on my own, but I figure that I usually do my own thing during the day anyway and I will still have company at dinner. There are a number of solo cruisers on the cruise meet thread and there has been some suggestion of linking reservations so that I would even sit with other DISers.

Fortunately they lifted the overtime ban that we had for most of the year just before I went on vacation so I am doing as much overtime as I can get away with to pay for my solo cruise. The single occupancy rate is quite a bit higher than the rate for two or more people sharing.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for making our first Disney Cruise so memorable Taylor loved getting to the room to see what great FE gifts would be there and people were very creative..thanks everyone Corinna...I hoped you liked your SM and didn't have that one yet?? We also booked on board for 2011...Mexican Riv...so hope to see some familiar faces there..thanks again for a great cruise

I love my Secret Mickey gift. The Mickey charm is the only Chamilia Charm I have so far. I was hoping to get some on the Magic, but they were more expensive there than they are over here. I bought a Chamilia leather bracelet before the vacation and had been wearing it just on its own. It now has Mickey on it. I have a day off tomorrow and I am hoping to get Minnie to keep him company.

Ok---volunteering over here to travel with Corinna---we wouldn't want you traveling alone!!!! I LOVE SEA DAYS!! I just want you to know I get so many compliments on my cell phone charm. I love it!! I am already thinking of FE stuff for our cruise in 2011. We have a logo and I plan on starting now because life just catches up on ya and I dont wanna feel rushed.

So did anyone get a great souveigner(sp) on the cruise? I just got my normal print and had it signed by all the characters. Also our traditional ornament. Other then that nothing big......let us know about any finds everyone has found.

Short story, my mother in law is sick. She is getting divorced, got laid off and doesn't have a place to live. My mother already lives with us so we have to come up with another plan.

I wish it was quite so easy to find a volunteer. Still, I just read on the UK Trip Planning Board that somebody who I went to a girlie weekend away with is also considering the same cruise and would do it solo. I really hope she will. I would feel so much happier if I had a friendly familiar face around.

As to souvenirs, apart from pins, I got a beautiful pink t shirt with the DCL logo, but with a skull and crossbones instead of the Mickey head. I also got a resin model of the Magic (to keep the models of the Wonder and the Norwegian Jade company) and a lovely resin Christmas ornament, which is also a model of the Magic. My favourite souvenir however are the photos. I really have to think about scanning those.

I just wanted everyone to think of Andrea's family and keep them in ur prayers during this time. They had a fire in their home, everyone is safe which is all that matters. Anyhow they are displaced into a hotel. I don't wanna tell to much in case when Andrea does get her laptop back she can inform you all.. I just wanted everyone's hopefully thoughts to make their way to California!!!

Ok well other then that news, not much here. Kids have fall celebrations today. For some reason they aren't calling it Halloween. I mean our schools haven't had Halloween dress up in yrs but obviously someone got affended by the word Halloween so now it's Fall Celebration. I guess it doesn't matter since they can't dress up. It's ok with me, I am not a huge fan of halloween, I do trick or treat for the kids but dont care for it! We tell our kids don't take candy from strangers and then we say hey go to that door and ask for candy.......duh!! Plus my kids can't eat half the candy(tootsie rools, skittles, anything chewy) people give out cause it is horrible for their teeth. Their dentist says no way and they have sealants on their teeth that cost me $50 each to replace...no thanks! They keep the chocolate and that's about it. I think this yr I am caring hand sanitizer cause sick people will have reached their hands into the bag and spread their germs...no h1n1 for me! Well off to work...take care all and have a great weekend!

Well, it doesn't seem like anyone has been here for a while, but I thought I would let you know we are all ok. Our dryer caught on fire the morning of October 26. The girls and I were home, I was able to get everyone out and get an extinguisher on it and call 911 at the same time. Then my neighbor came over with two double extinguishers, so we had the equivilant of 5 fire extinguishers on it before the fire department even got there. They said the whole house would have gone up in flames if we hadn't. The fire ivestigator said that it was a dryer malfunction (Kenmore/sears bought in 2004, in case anyone cares). We have been in a hotel suite for 2 weeks now, but we "may" get to move back in later this week. They are still doing construction and painting,but it might be deemed livable in the next few days.
I hope everyone else is doing ok and staying healthy. We've had quite an outbreak of H1N1 here, even a child death from it. Use that hand sanitizer! Mindi, I will put you and your family in our thoughts and prayers!

Andrea, Glad you are all ok! Thank God you were able to get to the fire! Scary thing!. Hope you get to move back home soon and life gets back to some normallcy.! Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
