I have a well deserved day off today and boy do I need it after the day I had yesterday. Everybody had an axe to grind, but I have been told three times have done something right.

I have nice little tasks like the ironing to do and finally managed to get around to downloading the very few photos from the cruises that I actually took myself. The camera is now charging in preparation for our trip to Disneyland Paris next week. By this time next week, I should be at the airport. My vacation time actually starts on Monday, but that gives me the chance to do some Christmas shopping.

Good Morning!! Lisa U are funny. Talked to my friends in Orlando last night and they were shreeking over 30 something like U. LOL Hey all U northerns like me...remember Lisa isn't sharing that it will be in the 60/70's later today. Wish we had that. Owell the price ya bare for being up North. The only thing is once I would like to be in Florida for Black Friday so when standing in lines for every store I wasn't freezing my patootie(sp) off. Since it's normally in the teens in those wee hours. So no-one said if they are going out. Is anyone listening to me or am I talking to myself...lalalalalalala TTYL

Good Morning everyone!!! Chilly start to our day here. I think it is only 19 degrees out right now, but it will reach a balmy 29

I am going out shopping on Black Friday. Robin and I are out the door by 3am ready to hit the stores. There isnt really anything I absolutley need, but it still is fun just going and if I happen to get a good deal then great!!

We have not been to Disneyland Paris since Christmas 2002 and they have spent a lot of money on both parks there since. The versions of Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Space Mountain are all better than at Disney World or Disneyland. Space Mountain even has two inversions and the high speed launch (being shot out of a canon) is quite something. The weather of course is nowhere near as nice. I will do a trip report once I am back.

I think that it's about 30 and feels like 17 degrees. Need I say more.....Doesn't look like it's warming up here anytime soon either. Oh well it's New England in teh winter what else would you expect.

I usually go out on shopping, but I don't think that Andrea will be up for getting out of bed early. We'll see maybe I can entice her with a day out with no kids.

OK, fine, I'm not going to tell anyone what the temperature is here today. What? I didn't say anything! Let me just say that this is not normal. We usually have cold weather by now, ok, cold to us. Even the kids keeping asking, "Mommy when is it going to get cold?" I think they are craving a fire in the fireplace too. And there is just something wrong with watching football games on Sunday afternoon with it being warm outside. Football is a cold weather sport.
OK, Laura, the part with no kids sounds good. But shopping? I think I am the only female on the planet (at least that's what Ashley tells me) that does not like to shop, ok, actually I HATE shopping. But if there's Starbucks, (oh sorry, I forgot)Dunkin Dougnuts involved, and a good book, I'll wait for you .

it is 29 degrees here and tons of snow.

Dh is our Black Friday shopper. ( he goes out at 4:30 and I watch the kids.) since we will be in Pgh my mom offered to babysit. --tough job for her since the kids will still be asleep.

Dh drove my Disney in HongKong last week. He couldnt see much since it was night time. ( he passed the Paris one 2 mos ago.)

Andrea --I am still trying to figure out how to get the disney font on my comp. If I do i will change our logo...but what I used is called French Script in my paintbrush area on the comp.

The high was only 56 today...ok though by Friday we're supposed to be back in the 70's. But we will be in PA freezing our patooties off all of next week.

I love Black Friday shopping but will be sitting this year out. We're going to be at DH's parents and they live in the middle of nowhere so no Black Friday shopping for me. Oh well - I'm mostly done my shopping anyways.

It is a crazy shopping day!!
it is the day after Thanksgiving. all the stores open up early . ( some as early as 4am.) There are great deals on shopping. a lot of sale items are on sale only for a few hours and many stores only get a few of one item in.

Our ToysRus is opening at 12am (midnight) and Best Buy is at 3am and American Eagle is at 4 am. I should probably just stay awake. Why bother going to sleep. Dunkin Donuts will be open, that should help me make it through the first part of the morning...love their coffee !!!!

You all are a hoot. I have never been shopping on Black Friday (that I can remember anyway). I do remember going with my mom for Cabbage Patch dolls for me and my sister for Christmas but don't remember if it was a Black Friday. I just remember being 3rd from the front of the line and being told by my mom to run, grab one and run to a register. I was also told not to look back and not to stall. Just keep going and don't let anyway take anything from me. I literally had to jump over someone who decided to go sliding into the dolls. AND my mom got nicked in the nose and so she was bleeding. All for a stinkin doll. ANyway, my hubbie and I are threatening to go and people watch at the mall on Black Friday since we'll be at my Mom and Dad's for THanksgiving and they would love to keep an eye out for Lil. We'll see.

A lot of stores that have on-line sites started the sales on-line at midnight on Wed. I bought a camera through Ritz camera that way last year. One less store we had to go to on Friday then.

Yeah I have been on bfads.net looking at the sales and seeing what is a doorbuster and what I could possibly order online. We shall see. Everything I go for isn't for xmas just to get a good deal! I would like to get the girls digital cameras for the cruise. That way they can take their own photos when we are in port or just whenever. I see some good deals but I also wonder if they need something great.. I mean target has this cute dig cam that is just a clip on to a backpack or something. Doesn't take great photos but easy for them. I am torn! Any suggestions???
