Hey all! Thanks so much for taking the lead on all of this. I truly appreciate it. Today is one of those days where I feel as if the head is going to burst and that I'm going to stop everything and just cry (I hate this wait) and so I'm having my own personal pity party. The good thing is I've got my ladies ensemble rehearsal tonight and my church choir (of which there is over 100 members) rehearsal tonight so I'll have plenty of people to commiserate (sp?) with. So I should be feeling pretty good by tonight!

Anyway, I am completely in for the Santa Mickey's idea, I'm completely in for the fish extenders thing and I"m completely in for the lanyard idea. I'm totally for the message boards on the doors, I'm totally for meeting (at least once) and I'm just totally ready to board this ship! My ages for my girls is correct. Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Michelle, Thank You so much for doing that!! These are awesome. Just have to print everything out onto the magnet sheets.

OK Few ???'s Val --- when u guys did the pass hanging from the lanyard...did everyone just print their own and have it hanging so we all recognize each other at port? I think that would be good. If we are going with the logo I put on here then everyone can print it, stick it in a protector or just laminate it and attach to their own lanyard. I figure the cloud mickey can be the front and on the back can be the green mickey ears with thread name on it. Any other suggestions????? It would be easy just print both , attacha, and laminate, get a backstage like protector or just hole punch a hole to attach to lanyard.

Any other thoughts on this or does this sound good? This way we all will have them on at the port and we will recognize each other at the port. I say in Sept 09 we all post a recent pic so we can try and recognize each other at port.

Is everyone doing mickey ears around there room number on the door? If you need the ears,ears w/a DCL sign, pirate hat or minnie bow..let me know.

2 families actually made all the lanyards. and at the port Erik set up a little table and passed out a bunch there. I was able to put my KTTW card in the new lanyard. we were able to recognize each other from the true lanyard chord.. it was thinner than the CC lanyards. and the logo ofcourse was bright red

I think we all are excited about going and I know I am not willing to hang out handing them out...my kids enjoyment is most important so I can't stay stationary handing out things....and personally I think we are all capable of making our own pass...I mean copy , laminate ,hang,,,not hard! So that is what I will do...make 4 for my family.

I think we can all handle our own lanyard I mean it will be the pass I look for with logo, not lanyard....Unless of course someone wants to make em...but I am not out to make more work just enjoy the thread, FE and seeing people after a year of chattin.

ANY other IDEAS?

Good morning all !!!

Great idea of posting a picture come Sept of next year. That way, if someone forgets to hang our logo from their lanyard, we can still recognize them. I can definately pick Andrea, Lisa, Michelle and Kristi out in a crowd

I can make my own lanyard pass. Have we decided that it will be the logo of the mickey cloud? Michelle are u able to write our name (disney dreamers) on the green mickey head and post it here?

Gotta get the kids of to , so I will check back later.

Hey all! WOW you keep busy. I'm not feeling well today so I'm not quite sure how long I'm going to be at work. We'll see.

Anyway, love the lanyard idea. Agree we should just all do our own thing and look for the logo and not the chord. Love the logo idea with the clouds and definitely think we should add our name and cruise date on it. Also love the green mickey idea and think we should definitely put the name of the group on that as well. That way you can see us coming and going (so to speak). Not to mention, my family may do t-shirts this year. Especially if my BFF and her DH and our in-laws choose to do the same. We'll see.

And I love the updated pics for sure come September of 09. You are right though. Unless someone else comes in with two adopted Asian children you'll definitely know who I am. LOL

Kristi--I hope you are feeling better....
Michelle--You've been a busy little bee haven't you? I also vote for #2, very talented . Could you also do the green Mickey head for me??? Pretty please??? I'm all for doing the lanyard ourselves. I'm with you my family time is my priority one. It will be tons of fun to meet everyone and get together (at least once ) But, afterall, it is a family vacation. So I don't think anyone should have to sacrafice any of their valued vacation time to sit in the terminal and hand out lanyards. I really like the idea of putting the logo on one side and the green ears on the other. Speaking of ears, we are doing ears on our cabins. And Laura if your listening, I already have them saved to my computer for all 4 of our cabins...it's a surprise (sort of). I also like the idea about everybody posting a picture in Sept 09...it will be your job Michelle to remind us all in 10 months to do that.
Well, I can't remember what else I was supposed to comment on because you guys went on and on while I was sleeping...again! You guys will be sorry when some more west coasters join and we will be chatting away late at night when you are all asleep...you just wait!

I am looking on ebay for my magnetic paper. It is alot cheaper buying it that way. I am really getting excited!!! I noticed our thread is a pretty active one and the others that are cuising in October of next year dont chat as much as we do!! I am glad we chose this date to sail on....better people to party with
