MNSSHP was soo much fun again this year. There were no lines this year at all. We hope to go again next year before/ after the cruise.
We are still singing Boo to you and you...Happy Halloween.

Lisa -----Nice photos...I love MNSSHP & MVMCP last year. I tell my friends they should just to to MK on those events cause it's easy to get on all the rides...much better then a normal day!

Also what I meant about the name badge was either all wearing shirts with it screened on the chest area ...well ya know where a name badge would be or I was just gonna laminate it and attached it to a badge pin and wear it. I tried getting a print shop here to make badges for me but because it is an oval and not round makes it difficult. I too am using one for my door and maybe this one.

but with it saying Disney Magic of course.

Lisa ----Loved your castle photo so I had to share my photo of the castle from Mickey's Very Merry 2007. It was so beautiful with the lights. Also my girls with their friends. My 2 are the 2 on the right. They love those Disney princess Santa hats. Definately more practical here in Ohio then they were that night in Florida.

I'm loving all the pictures! It's making me want to be there NOW! Michelle, I like the nametag idea. Where did you check to see if they could make oval ones? I'm just curious if someplace like Kinkos would be able to do it?

Hi everyone! I too am LOVIN' the pics. And I too LOVE the idea of nametags on the shirts or pins, etc. I say GO FOR IT! I'm thinking that to pass the time that I'm siting around a waiting and waiting and waiting to travel to Vietnam I'm going to do a few things. First of all, I'm a scrapbooker. Sooo, I'm going to work on personalized thank you notes for the baby shower gifts our family received this weekend. Then I'm going to help my daughter make a chain (something we still haven't done). And, during all of this I'm going to start working on my magnets, t-shirts, etc. LOVE IT!!!!!!! Talk to ya later. Kristi

Kristi....I had another thought(sorry been sick and just veggin so the laptop and I have become friends) Idea. If we print up a 3x5 print of our Disney Dreamer design(whatever it may be) and laminate it and wear it on our lanyards like a backstage pass like at a concert. Some of us will have castaway club lanyards to use and the rest could prolly just get red,black or whatever color ones to use. I just saw it in another thread and though it was cute. Hey name badges , backstage passes....LOL we should know where each other is...LOL

Oh and I have been going magnet crazy.. ..I think I will have like 30 on my door....guess I better decide

I think the lanyards are a good idea also. I am a first timer so I will have to buy whatever color you guys already have. Just keep me posted.

Michelle who did the red disney name badge for you? I love that one. I dont have a ton of magnets and some of the ones I have are not personalized, so I am afraid someone might take them. The more that I get with our names on it the better.

Lisa I love your pictures!! You always take such nice ones. I also love the castle at christmas time. That looks amazing. Wish I were there!

Val...another cruise booked already?? Lucky girl!!! My dh is adament that he wants to go on Royal Caribbean's new ship Oasis for 2010. I am hoping he likes the Disney cruise and will forget about RC. I do hear from everyone that no other cruise line compares to disney. I really cant wait to see for myself.

I am using them either on shirts, name badges and magnets for the door. I read on another site to print stateroom number on signs or on the back put stolen from the **** family....LOL I am prolly personalizing most but not all with the date cause I wanna use them for future cruises.
Robin u booked ur car already right? what did u get for daily rate? I have a code for budget but they don't book Oct yet, with the code I heard I can get $30 a day so I am hoping.

I want to take the Oasis too in 2010, but we have never been on the ships all decorated for Xmas! and dh turns 40 the day after the cruise, and he is the Disney fanatic.... ( we still might cancel this cruise or the 2010, but who knows!!) We are moving next summer to Atlanta, so that could change everything.

The lanyards were made special from someone on our cruise. The name of our cruise was the Double Dip Delight, so the lanyards said D. D.D, then there was a pic of our logo and our names, then our screen names underneath. ( I know 10 families all paid for the cost.) if you go to the thread on page one... you will see them. also we had message boards on every floor, each side of the ship. We did a huge group photo one morning.

plus someone organized Secret Mickeys and the Fish Extenders.

I meant the red magnet with Nelia's name on it. That is cute. Tom did name badges for me, but in the original design. I think I am going to have him do the YOMD design also. I think that one is prettier. I rented my car through Avis for 30.00 per day it is an intermediate car. I beleive they said it would be like a stratus. I will use a dine a mate coupon to get it lower. That is the price without the coupon applied to it. Not a bad deal.

Hey everyone...havent been here in awhile. Wow...look at all the new people we have. Hello to you!!!!

I would love to do the lanyards to identify ourselves. I am also new to doing a disney cruise, so my lanyard will just be a store bought disney one.

Do you think it would be a good idea to post everyone doing the FE on the first page like other threads have done? Just a suggestion. It would make it easier to keep track dont you think?

Val what is this secret Mickey that you speak of? Do you go around the ship trying to find the hidden Mickeys? That would be fun. I am up for anything fun!!!!

The Secret Mickeys were more like a secret Santa. ( our family didnt do this..wish we did.) I think 20 cabins did this. You spent 25.00 or something like that one the family. I know the one family got a Mickey apron and signed cookbook from the cruise, some were given personalized ornaments from the givers home state. alot of creativity/thought went into the gifts.
the gifts were left with the room attendent...some had them delivered while the family/couple was at Palo.

alot of thought went into the f/es too.

I would do the secret mickeys. As long as the price stays reasonable. That really does sound like a cute idea. When did the people find out who was their secret (santa) Mickey? I think we should wait until we get back and people can guess on this thread. See Val, you cant leave this cruise because we need you to tell us what to do!!! JK

Laura--I like your ticker! Can't wait to start on the Drinks of the the Day huh? I can't believe that in just over a week and a half our tickers will say 10 months such and such days. When we booked we had 17 months!
Man I tell ya, I guess the time zone thing is throwing me off, cuz it seems like whenever I'm here nobody else is here and then I'm gone for a couple of hours and there's a whole new page of discussion added. I think the secret Mickey sounds like fun? I'm up for it if everyone else is.
