Hi everyone! We're back from a nice 8 day trip to Destin, FL. My aunt just moved there so we went to go visit her and became beach bums. It's so beautiful there. Now, we're looking forward to Oct!!!!

Welcome Jennifer!!!! We're thrilled to add another member to our thread! Throughout the next month you should definitely go through as much of this thread as possible cause there are TONS of tips and such in them. This will be my 2nd Disney cruise and I know there are others who have don this cruise more than me so between all of us I'm sure we can answer your questions.

To everyone: I had a great conversation with Michelle. And I feel good about myself. I finally came clean and admitted I'm a procrastinator. LOL I still have TONS and TONS to do before the cruise. I know it'll all get done but I'm sure we'll be doing some stuff at the last minute (as usual).

Welcome Jennifer and family! This will be our third time on the Magic (Michelle's third time too) so let us know if you have any questions! We are taking this trip with my brother and his family, and it's their first time. There are actually quite a few first timers on our thread, so your not alone! Here's a picture of our FE:

You can order them from a lady on e-bay or some people make their own. I think they are around $25 on e-bay. Not everyone is making things to put in them. You can buy little things like stickers, candy, etc. I am making something for the adults, but buying something for the kids. If you have any questions just ask!

Wow! We are a lively bunch today....I've added to my signature But for the life of me can't figure out why both tickers show the same day? I put Oct. 2nd on one and Oct. 3rd (I'm pretty sure) on the other. I did the cruise one so long ago though if I change it my ship will go all the way back to the left and it's come so far! Oh well.

Jennifer, this is going to be such a fun trip for you and your family. I think that's all Michelle needs to put you on the website, oh, if you have a picture of your family that you want her to post to the website you can PM it to her or post it on here. Also, the FE gift that I'm making for the adults involves home addresses. If you don't want to give yours out I understand, I can do a generic version of what I'm making for people who don't want to give theirs out. If you want your address on yours, just PM me your address. I'm not sure, but I think you have to have a certain number of posts ( I think it's around 10 or so) before you can post pictures or PM people. So get to chattin' so you can do that stuff.

Judith, I can't believe you and your sister are traveling so far to the same vacation area and your going to just miss eachother by a day! But I guess if you live close and see them all the time it's no big deal. We are taking this vacation with my brother and his famiy (thegreatcornholeo) and I can't wait, but at most we see them once a year, sometimes not even that. This year we will get to see them twice The girls and I are traveling to Boston in July The last time Ryan got to see them was at my sisters wedding over two years ago. (Laura remember the "frog incident" ) Terri might not be able to get back to you for a couple of days. She's on a business trip in Atlanta and I'm not sure how busy she is. She must be pretty busy cuz I haven't heard from her since she was in the airport on her way. (We live right around the corner from eachother)
Well, it's official, we have Port Orleans Riverside booked for Thursday night . I think the plan will be to go to MNSSHP on Thursday, sleep in a bit on Friday. Then we will either enjoy the resort for the afternoon or head over to DTD to walk around and eat before we pick up our rental car and head to the port area. Ryan got stuck working 2 hours of overtime last night (unexpected) and I said "Great! That's two MNSSHP tickets!" I can't understand why I just heard silence on the other end of the line...
I spent some time yesterday on the POR thread, since we've never stayed there and I'm getting really excited.

Andrea, you will love staying at POR. We've stayed twice and truly enjoy it. If you go to DTD, you can take a boat from the resort. It is really relaxing and fun.

Michelle, hope everything went well at the dr's appt.

Hope everyone is having a great week. We just got back yesterday afternoon from our previously posponed band trip to the Smokey Mtns in Tennessee. The kids were very well behaved, but I am tired. It was a quick 2 night trip.

Today is my first day to get to stay home. My kids are not happy with me and I am definitely not happy with them. Let me put it this way-I went in their rooms and closets-enough said. They are not grounded until I say so. I am so frustrated right now, I can't see straight. I told them it was not going to be a fun summer if things don't change.

Well, I better get back to cleaning. Lunch is over and the mess doesn't go away on its own. Have a great day everyone!

Gena, I know what you mean. I'm always so excited about summer and then a few days into I think to myself, "When are they going back to school? I can't wait until they go back to school!" When you stayed at POR did you stay in AB or the Mansions? We will most likely be in AB because there are 5 of us and those are the rooms that sleep 5, but I like the look of the Mansion side too! It's going to be such a quick trip I hope we get a chance to take the boat to DTD! I'm thinking we will be able to go to DTD or hang out at the pool, but probably wont have time to do both. Did you guys like the pool there? Our last resort stay was at Coronado Springs and we all LOVED the pool there.

Kristi, my goal for this trip is to be packed at least two days ahead of time. I'm ok at planning everything ahead, but for some reason I'm always a last minute packer and it always stresses me out. Our last cruise I was literally packing while Ryan was trying to load the suitcases in the car. It was so stressful. So I'm hoping that wont be the case this time. Right now I am just trying to get one thing done at a time. Baby steps...Just set small goals each week, like my goal for this week is to get pirate costumes ordered for the girls, we have them picked out, just haven't ordered them yet. My next goal will be to start looking for a new suitcase (we need another big one). Baby steps...I'm sure you will get everything done in plenty of time. But just so you know
