Hello all. Just found this thread and will be on the Oct. 2-6 cruise also. I'm traveling with my husband and little princess who is 21 months old now. This is our first cruise. My father in-law has planned this as a surprise for my mother in-law for their 40th anniversary, which is on Oct. 2nd. We will be traveling with my in-laws and my husband's sister, her husband and two boys, ages 2 & almost 5.

We are staying at BWV for the 4 nights before the cruise and will be surprising my mother in-law on our first day at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. She has no idea any of us will be there and doesn't know about the cruise. It should be a huge surprise for her.

Welcome aboard Jan3571 and family!!! Sounds like you will have your hands full. Your door magnet has been created and will be delivered at the first opportunity at the port or on the ship. Read back a few posts and you will find where there are a few things in the works for the sail-away party / quick get-together during sail-away, bracelets so we can ID each other, among other things. Chime in and make suggestions, comments or just get excited!!

I have started a spread sheet. I have 17 total (12 adults, 5 kids). We need some more kids so we can get two sizes. Are there any other threads that you know about for our cruise? I will post on others to try and 'boost' our numbers.

Hello everyone! We have been lurking on these boards for awhile now, this is our very first post. Me, my husband, daughter (9, celebrating her 10th birthday on Oct 4), and son (5) will be on the Oct 2-6 Wonder cruise. This is our second DCL cruise (we were on the 3-day Wonder in November 1999). We are all very excited and would love to meet some of the others taking this cruise. We will be going to WDW first, staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Well, the way I see it there are a few ways:

1. Our plan is to be one of the first people on the ship (I think the car service picks us up from our hotel at 10:00 a.m., so I guess we will be at the port 60 - 70 minutes later) and we will promptly be going to Mickey pool.

2. I will have been with my MIL for 5 days straight at that point, so I should be recognizable by my distressed face

3. My DSs will have been in a high stimulus environment for five days playing their parents against their grandparents, I will be the one trying to keep some order in my family

4. I will have an armful of lime green silicon bracelets on.........

Hi Disnic and welcome to our lime green october fest party we have going!!! I would also like to welcome everyone new to our crew and invite all the others that have been looking at this board but have not posted yet to do so. It's really lots of fun

I will be staying at Beach Club the night before our cruise. What are the plans of those staying at disney the night before and that won't be able to meet at the Raddison for dinner? I know it will be almost impossible to get everyone together, but if a few would be at the same park or around the same resort maybe we can say before the cruise. I was thinking to go to Epcot or MK but I am flexible, so let me know.

Has enybody decided on where and at what time to meet for the quick
sailaway party?

well actually, i got my mil's docs. they were sent to my work. i'm a little worried about getting mine. no one is home and we have a dog that runs loose during the day(underground fence), so i don't know if ups will leave them or not.

We will be at Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL for dinner for the final birthday celebration for my DS who turned four in August!! Then to GF to watch Wishes.
