"Thumb's up" for us! Thanks so much for doing this!

Done! The next question will be, how do I distribute the magnets?? :confused3 If I don't run into anyone at the Port or at the Radisson or Grills, I can put them on your stateroom door if you would trust me with your stateroom number. On the Cruisetoberfest III thread we had a "list" of everyone's info that was updated regularly and e-mailed to everyone on the list. I don't think we have time to do that now though. Any suggestions??

Where ya been?? we been partying since July!! Some of us are planning to meet at Grills on Sat. night to have dinner and see the ships leave. :boat: I have made door magnets for everyone. Look back a few pages and you will see the original. With input from the group, I have changed it a little bit. We have a res on the Radisson shuttle for 10am. Anyone joining us at the Radisson??

I have been so busy that I almost forgot to celebrate the pre-cruise planning celebration you guys have here. :hourglass I am happy to join the party now. I would love to have a magnet if you still have a few available. I was thinking about staying at the Raddison but decided on Beach Club for the night. We will drive down this time :worried: (Hope the gas prices will go down a bit ...$3.29 a gallon around this parts...I don't even want to think what would be like on our way down) so we will have a car. I will talk to DH to see if we can make it. If not are we meeting while onboard? :confused3

:scratchin What if we wore something to identify us as members of this particular board the first day (sorry if someone had mentioned it before...I have not had the chance to read all the replys yet  ). Last October we took a cruise and we all wore blue ribbons it was great!!! Everytime you saw someone with the blue ribbon you introduced yourself we made a lot of new friends and once onboard we all recognize each other. By the time we left the cruise some of use were :sad1: happy to have made wonderful friends and lots of great memories together. The ribbons weren't a big deal, happy, festive, some big, some small, most homemade ribbons. Just an idea for the few that might not get the chance to get together before the cruise at the Raddison. Let me know what you think. I am sure we will have a great time with or without them. I might wear a shirt saying HELLO... IT'S ME :wave2: I just don't want to confuse anyone :sad2:

Hi everybody! Ooooooo, it's getting close! Now that the kids are in school we can devote all of our time to being excited about our cruise! I sware I feel like a giddy schoolgirl myself! Thank you so much BigRed for making the magnets for us. I can't wait to see it in person. About getting it, maybe you can drop it off your balcony to me since we are in the cabin under you. I realized when I caught up on the posts...what are the chances?! It might be helpful if you loose something overboard...and please, no spitting! :rotfl: The colored ribbon idea sounds good...maybe lime green? ::yes:: :tilt:

Nobody has mentioned meeting onboard. In the past, we have met for lunch on at-sea day. We also got together on secret deck 7 for a picture. If someone wants to handle that, jump right in!!! :teeth:

We bought t-shrirts from Dis Shop . I will have the gray one and DW will have the green one. I will have BigRed1 "ironed-on" front left chest. I will likely have my CruisetoberfestIII name tag as well on a lanyard. The ribbons are a good  as well.

My luck, it would fly on down and stick on the side of the ship!!! :rotfl2: Oh, and your safe, no spitting!

lime green sounds like fun...any other color ideas? :grouphug: What about a multicolor :jester: one... that way it will go with whatever we have on. :cutie: Red or Orange would also be nice colors to wear this month. So far we have:
lime green ::yes::
multicolor :jester:
red
and orange :sunny:

what do you think?

To meet onboard: Maybe we can have a quick meet and mingle party a few minutes after we leave the port of Port Canaveral. That way we can have all 4 days on the cruise to get to know each other better. I was thinking :headache: of the following places for us to get together: Cove Cafe, Pinocchio's Pizzeria by Goofys pool, or the Overlook. All these places are on deck 9 near Palo and the Spa for those of us that would like to make reservations there (first things first :cloud9: ). I think is also a great idea to be on deck 9 to celebrate the begining of our journey while saying goodbye to the people  left on the port. It might be :crowded: but if we wear the color ribbons or anything else that could identify us it will be easy to spot our crew. Any suggestions are welcome :listen: and it will be good to decide on the exact time to meet too.

I just had a crazy thought. :rolleyes1 Are you sitting down? I had my DH sit down before I told him.

What about ordering some custom silicon bracelets? I found a place that will do an order of multiples of 20 (20 being the minimum) for about $3.00 a bracelet including shipping, to have the phrase "Mickey's Thumbs Up Cruise" put on the bracelet. I looked at the colors and they do have a lime green :disrocks:.
The first price break would be at 140, the price would go down to $2.32 each, I don't know if we can get that many folks who want them...I am in for 6.

The site is:
WWW ?dot? reminderband <dot> c o m

Yeah, they are a little pricey compared to ones that you buy at the gas station but I think that they are pretty unique. If we want to order 10K , I found a place that will do them for 20 cents a piece :rotfl:

Looks like if I order them early in the week, I can get them back before I leave for WDW.

What do 'ya think? Am I crazy....don't worry, I won't be offended if it turns out I am. :teeth:

I like it! I'm in for 2. Do you take Visa?? :rotfl2:
BTW, I ordered a couple of Dis lanyards on DisShop.com. Buy one get one free! :teeth:

I vote Cove Cafe. There I can have my sail-away cigar :teeth:

Hi Disers, Count me in for 3 of 'em. Do they come in just one size? I'll send you the $ if you are comfortable w/ giving your address. This is another great idea...you guys rock! :disrocks:

Do you take Visa??

No, I am strictly a cash or Pina Colada kinda gal. :p

For ease of use, I figured it would be a c.o.d. (or p.c. o.d.)

Just one size right now, if we get a whole bunch of orders (I would guess 50+ to get the ratios), we can probably get some in a smaller kids size. We would just have to order them in multiples of 20, same as the adults.

The bracelets are an even better
I will need 4 (2 adults and 2 kids if you get enough orders). Let us know how do you want us to pay for them. I like the pina colada way :drinking1

I am still waiting on a meeting place and exact time from everyone. So far I got 1 vote for Cove Cafe. ;)

Hello all. Just found this thread and will be on the Oct. 2-6 cruise also. I'm traveling with my husband and little princess who is 21 months old now. This is our first cruise. My father in-law has planned this as a surprise for my mother in-law for their 40th anniversary, which is on Oct. 2nd. We will be traveling with my in-laws and my husband's sister, her husband and two boys, ages 2 & almost 5.

We are staying at BWV for the 4 nights before the cruise and will be surprising my mother in-law on our first day at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. She has no idea any of us will be there and doesn't know about the cruise. It should be a huge surprise for her.

Count us in for 6 bracelets! If you differentiate, 4 adult, 2 children. We'll bring cash to pay you! That's a great idea. My kids will be so excited!!! :bounce: :bounce:
