Hello again. I have a couple questions, being a first-timer on a cruise. First, I can't figure out if I need to sneak on a few 12-packs of Coke. Some people say that sodas cost money onboard, and some of the literature from Disney says that sodas are complimentary. Have they changed their policies related to sodas? Just asking because, well, I'm addicted to Coke. Yep, it's a fact, and I'm no longer in denial
Second, not being privy to the goings on on the ship, we're not sure when/if to make reservations to have our daughter (2) stay in Flounder's Reef and our son (3) in a kids' program while we have a quiet night one evening. If we want to try that Palo place, will they feed the kids where they're being watched or do we have to arrange for that before we go to dinner as a couple?
Next, I tried to reserve (or at least see how much it would cost) one of the suites (via disney's site) and went as far into the future as I could, but every one was apparently booked already. How would I go about getting one of those suites WAY in advance? Do you have to get those through a
travel agent or through Disney via phone or???
Lastly, are there any excursions/sights/events that we 'can't miss' on our first voyage? I know our boy will be having lots of fun in that Mickey pool, but I just realized last night that they won't allow swim diapers in any of the pools, so our daughter won't be able to swim unless she speeds up her training in the next couple months! I'm bummed that she'll only get to play in the 'splash fountain' that they have.
Anyways, thanks for the input. I've learned a lot from this forum already. Take care....Bill
