Weather, crowds, park hours, swimming? Special events?

Tell me why I should pick one date over the other!

Thanks.

(I'm getting somewhere now - finally picked WL)

Ask yourself this. Halloween or Christmas.Which would please you more. Weather wise Octorber can be warm or pleasant. November can be cold or pleasant unpredictable. I have choosen November this time as I prefer Christmas all the decorations , MVMCP,Candlelight Processable,Osbourn Lights etc.

We usually visit WDW the last week of October and we love it. The temperature is around 80 degrees during the day and can get much cooler at night. The crowds are not bad at all. I would say the longest we've waited in line is about 15 minutes. Also, the Halloween party is a lot of fun! For our upcoming trip we decided to visit during the Christmas season. Everyone says the decorations are beautiful. I don't think you could go wrong with either week.

We're planning Oct 28-Nov 4 too. I'm very excited to see the fall decorations (again) and some early CHRISTmas decorations too. We have visited the last week in September in the past and it's so hot we wanted to go a little later this time. I would recommend the Holloween party, it's a lot of fun!

We're biased as we are getting married at Disney in late October and spending our honeymoon there, however we have been both times. With the exception of the MNSSHP that sell out at the end of the month of October the crowds seem lower this time of year than the weekend of Thanksgiving.

I love Halloween so my pick is easy. Last year we seen Halloween and a couple of days Christmas as we where there at the end of October, beginning of November...

Enjoy

We're going Oct29 - Nov5. First time for Halloween. We're looking forward to it. I've been down in early December before to attend the MVMCP. It was about three years ago and we really lucked out with weather (low 80's in the day and cooler at night). I love Disney for Christmas!!! It's really gorgeous. I wanted to go in December this year but it's a trip for my immediate family and my youngest DS can't take off work between Thanksgiving and Christmas!! Of course I noticed this year that they started the MVMCP before Thanksgiving this year so maybe one year I can get them down before Thanksgiving!

Oh well, I'm hoping to plan a separate trip for me and my Mom for Dec07 (since we both enjoy WDW at Christmas)!!!

Since MK is decorated to the hilt for either party, you can't go wrong.

:grouphug: We're going 10/28-11/4 also, :thumbsup2 this will be our second time going that time of year. I've been to other threads, and most say that that time of year can be very nice, 80's less humid. We're also going to MNSSHP on 10/31, the kids and adults alike have a great time. See ya there :woohoo:

In with MNSSHP and out with MVMCP ! Can't wait. This is my only non December trip ever. I so love Disney all decked out for Christmas. I wanted to try the Halloween Party and was so excited that Disney added Nov 13th to its Christmas party schedule. Now I will be able to enjoy both! :Pinkbounc

Well, with an annual pass, living close enough to drive down to WDW anytime, and being retired, I can plan a trip to see the Mouse anytime I wish. (You can see the dates for my upcoming trip below.) My main reason for picking the dates I did was to avoid as much of the holiday crowd as possible, but still enjoy the season.

Enjoy.
