Hi, Everyone!
We just got back from our 2nd trip to WDW a few months ago & are already trying to plan for the next one
The only time we have been to Disney is in November- 1st time was mid Nov 2013, then this year we went Thanksgiving week 2015. We loved it both times. The weather was beautiful. With trying to plan our next trip, we are trying to work around my son's school schedule to minimize the amount of days he has to miss. We loved it at Thanksgiving & really didn't have a problem w/the crowds and such (loved MVMCP!) but coming home and trying to get everything ready for Christmas....well, it kind of made the Christmas season and prepping and such feel really rushed, so we'd like to look at going another time of year.
The 2 dates that look like they could probably work best, looking at ds's school calendar are the week of Columbus Day 2016 or Easter week 2017 (probably arriving the Sat before Easter and leaving Good Friday). Probably 5 or 6 nights for either trip. I know both weeks will probably be very very busy, but we'll deal with it. We're not park commando and if we miss alot, that's ok- just another reason to make another trip back
There may be other weeks that would work as well, just started looking into planning this week as the Post Disney Blues really started to set it...lol... His school is ok w/ them missing some time for vacation; my issue is that my ds ends up getting sick (strep, ear/sinus infections) usually a few more times a year ending in more time off and I really don't want to push it.
It would be myself, dh and ds9. 1st time we stayed at the Poly, this Thanksgiving stayed at Beach Club- next trip either going back to Poly or another monorail resort.
So, of these 2 weeks-would you chose Oct or April/ Or is there another time that you all think that we maybe should look at? Hoping for nice weather- for some pool time for ds- but not sweltering weather (that's why summer is out- we would never survive the heat/humidity). So, if you've been either time- what was it like and what do you think?
