We've made it up to 30. Not high enough for any thawing out. Oh well!

Sandy, we had no sun and some fog so little to no melting and supposed to get down to 21 tonight. Doubt the hill will be an option in the morning. It is supposed to get warmer tomorrow so maybe mid day we can get out.

Most schools have cancelled again for tomorrow since the roads are still icy and the temp is going to be so cold again tonight. Turner's school hasn't made the call yet.

BOLT is adorable. I am so excited for Joey!

Good grief, Susan. That storm will affect you for quite awhile. We are all very excited for Bolt. Tyler definitely will have a friend. Stacey was on such a high today and just recently the school reduced her to tears. She is having to fight them tooth and nail for Tyler and she got some disturbing news today. I hope her neurologist can talk some sense into these people. We never won but with today's technology and worldwide connections perhaps she can get some advice from others that have walked in her shoes.

Tomorrow will be day 3 with no school. Turner's school finally made the announcement. I plan to work from home again tomorrow.

Turner is driving me nuts, however. He is stir crazy and with the ice playing outside isn't fun like it was day 1.

I do have to venture out tomorrow afternoon. My great-aunt died and the funeral is tomorrow. My grandmother had 13 brothers and sisters. This aunt was the youngest and the only other living is my great-uncle and he is 96 and lives in Norfolk. I figure by afternoon I should be able to get out of the neighborhood and the roads should be better by then too. They are having visitation the hour and half before the funeral so that will make it easier to do both.

Gotta run. I just relized I am missing the Biggest Loser.

Sad night tonight. Had to say goodbye to Heidi. It was rough. We both cried. It was as though she was moving out all over again. The funny part is that we will be together one day this weekend and also the cruise. Love you Heidi. Miss you already.

Mom - It will probably be more than one day, we need to get together this weekend and do some magnets if you want to. It was so weird to not do my "normal" nighttime nad morning time routine. I woke up confused on where I was and then panicked when Lilly wasn't in her kennel.

Still snowing. They cancelled PSR last night. Frustrating. Jerry was out at the store at that time and said the roads were just wet. We have several inches so far.

I am sure Tyler and Bolt will be the best of friends. I hope Stacey is able to get through to the school.

Closing in on the 3 week mark for our WDW vacation. I sure hope it is warm when we go!

Heidi: I thought Chris was going on the cruise with you.

Denine - I am sorry, that is frustrating. I was so mad on Sunday when I made it to puppy school from a place 60 miles away but the other's in the class that live less than 5 miles away couldn't make it so they cancelled it. Chris is going with me on the cruise! He is home now and in 2 weeks he gets to fly back to FL for our cruise! I don't think he is so excited flying back as he had a long flight last night!

Mom - Yes, I told Chris to keep the kennel there until after the weekend, but he is supposed to bring over the carpet cleaner to get the one spot.

I did get out for the funeral this afternoon. Our entrance was still a little tricky but once out of teh neighborhood, the roads were fine. I went by my Dad's house to check on it and it was odd driving down that dead-edn dirt road and being the only tire tracks to and from his house. I was a little concerned I'd get stuck but I didn't.

Turner has a 2 hr delay for school tomorrow since the temps are going down to about 20 tonights and with a lot of melting running onto the roads, they expect lots of black ice in the morning. I don't think we have been out of school 3 days straight for weather since Turner has been in school. The ice part of the storm was definitelya nightmare. Looks like the northeast got blasted with snow worse than us. At least I don't think they got the ice.

I am ging in to the office tomorrow to work and then come home to pack. We are leaving early Friday morning for West Palm Beach. I'm planning to take the laptop so will try to stay in touch.

Susan, I would take that Northern snow anyday over what you guys had. Snow and then ice is just too deadly. You guys get some crazy weather. I forgot you are going to West Palm Beach. Safe travels and have fun. Hugs.

Susan: Glad you were able to make it out for the funeral. Ice is much worse than snow! Enjoy your weekend!

Heidi: I got confused when you said Chris would be home so the pipes wouldn't freeze.

If you didn't see it on FB, we went to the mall last night to see what Yankee Candle had on clearance and ended up looking at First Communion dresses. We went to Penny's first and everything they had was around $100 and up! We went to Macy's and they had nothing. Then we stopped at Dillards. We found what we were looking for and for only $55! I still need to get a veil for her, but that shouldn't be bad. I did pretty well at YK too!

A light snow is falling. We ended up with about 6 inches or so. Snow is in the forecast everyday. We leave 3 weeks from Saturday!
