The snow is melting nicely now. What a huge pain it was for the drivers. I think we probably got a total of 12" and before that it was pouring rain. The road outside the house is still full of ruts but side streets usually are a big pain. Wonder how Missy and Tiffany managed last night and today. Stacey said they didn't get as much as we did which is unusual.

I'm making a special meatloaf and creamed peas and potatoes for Heidi and Chris tonight. We are going to watch Survivor over here. Guess I better get going if I want to feed people.

I loved my snow day! It melted fast yesterday, eventually we got blue sky and sun. I only work today and then tomorrow is my day off to go skiing. Wish we could have gone skiing yesterday but the roads and traffic would have made it impossible to get up there at a reasonable time.

Hey guys, a bright and sunny day. Love it. Headed to look for something that Stacey wants to give Joey for Easter. Hope I find it.

Back from the dentist. We are both cavity-free! Kaleigh has to go back in 6 months though. Where one of her top teeth fell out, there isn't enough room for a new one to come in. They will evaluate it at that time. They may just take out the next tooth or they may want her to have a palate expander. They are going to do panoramic x-rays at that time to see what the rest of her mouth looks like. All Kaleigh knows is she has to go back in 6 months.

We are going up to the mall soon to find an Easter dress for Kaleigh for next year. I always buy a year in advance.

It is a really crummy day outside.

We bought 3 dresses at Penney's and it cost less than 1 at regular price. Got another at Macy's. A $70 for $20. We were looking at Communion dresses too. Kaleigh's First Communion isn't until next Spring, but again, I buy early to save.

Sunny but cold. A covering of snow.

Tomorrow is the community Easter Egg Hunt.

HAPPY PURPLE DAY!!!

Spending some time with Stacey today. We are both wearing the same purple shirt. Believe me. We will stand out like a sore thumb. This purple is definitely PURPLE

Today is a good day!

Jerry lost 1.8lbs and is down about 10lbs total.
I lost 2 lbs and am down 13.6lbs total.

We got Kaleigh's CAT scores back and she scored 97th percentile overall!

It is also sunny!

Denine, what a great day for the family. Everyone has something to celebrate. Congrats to all!

Heidi, Chris, and Ted went back up skiing today. It sure is a plus living here in CO! I am cleaning, cooking, shopping and anything in between.

Hi, everyone. Once again, thank you all for the beautiful flower arrangement, your cards, notes, prayers, support and unwavering friendship. You all gave me such comfort over the last few months. I go back to work on Monday. I am ready to go back but it is still going to be hard.

I'm heading up to Dad's house this afternoon to get the mail that has been stacking up and to go by and see Dad's girlfriend. Her birthday was this past Wednesday and I was out of town. I called her and she said she was having a good day. I know it was hard on her not having Dad around.

I've got to go to the grocery store. I haven't bought groceries in weeks. We need at least one of everything! We may take a day trip tomorrow to go see Paul's Mom. I haven't seen her since September and I really should go see her. She is getting a little stronger each day.

Susan, that was nice of you to go see your dad's girlfriend. I am sure she appreciated it. I didn't realize that you haven't seen your MIL since Sept. Glad she is getting along better now. I love to do that kind of grocery shopping with the exception of paying the bill.

Just got a phone call from Stacey. She has two snowplows stuck in front of her house. She sent a pix msg to prove it. Living in Monument isn't always the best.

Susan: Good to hear from you. I hope you enjoyed your days at the beach.

Well, the day got better. We bought a car. We traded in Jerry's '98 Regal for an '07 Rendezvous. His car needed more than $1500 worht of work and then we know something else was going to go wrong. We just put $1800 into it last year. We got an awesome trade in for his car. My car needs over $400 since the odometer needs to be fixed. It stopped working on our way down to VA. My car has 92,000 on it and needs to be replaced in a couple of years. We will probably get another sedan at that point. They don't make Rendezvous' anymore and we can't afford an Enclave or similar, even used. So, we got a new Rendezvous while we still could. It only has 39,000 on it.

Good for you Denine. How fun and exciting! There is nothing worse than cars if you ask me. Car repairs are so expensive. I even hate to put new tires on cars. Everything is over inflated. Don't get me going...

Sandy: Car repairs is why we need to replace my Rendezvous soon. We need to spend the $ to fix the odometer, but it will be needing 4 new tires, sparkplugs, and other stuff soon.

Crummy day today, cold and rainy.

Gotta go Wii and then make Easter cutouts with Kaleigh.

I'm not even sure that I got Ted off since it fought me the whole time. It said it did but I can still call it up. Plus, it wasn't easy since they only allow one per day per URL. Good morning!

Susan - I hope you have a good day at work today. How is Paul's mom doing?

Denine - Congrats on the new car, it is always so exciting to have a new car.

Mom - what a bummer about the turtles. That would have been an awesome experience!

Had a good weekend. Yesterday all I did was sit around the house and do laundry! My body was sore from racquetball on thursday and skiing on Friday and Saturday so I just took it easy yesterday.

I just need to get through 1 more cold, dark, rainy, gloomy day and then it is supposed to get nice.

Trying to do research on what curriculum to do with Kaleigh next year. We need a switch.

Jerry was distressed. He had to take the new car today in the rain to work. He waxed it yesterday. But, he has to stop at the dealership on the way home to pick up another fob. They have to program it to the car. He has other stuff to do there today as well.
