Susan, I have to say your post was beautiful. It made me cry but it was beautiful. I'm so glad that you have your faith in God. He will help you through this. I love you and will be here for you as well.

Susan - I agree with my mom, your post was put beautifully. We will be with you in spirit on Sunday. We love you.

Mom - Sorry you have to postpone Sam's birthday party. That is probably a good idea because they are saying we may get 10 inches by Friday night.

Susan: Lovely post.

Another beautiful day here.

Had a great St. Pat's dinner yesterday. We enjoyed our Bailey's while watching our free Redbox rental of Night at the Museum 2. Enjoyed the movie.

I have to work tomorrow. I am hoping Jerry and I can go out on Saturday. It all depends on if his mom can babysit. I don't even care what we do.

Not much new here today. Stacey sent me on a wild goose chase and never found what we were looking for. Tyler can't have popcorn but after talking to another mom whose son was on the diet, found out that Bailey could have a brand called ok-ee dokey. (sp) After we searched a few stores she went home and found out that Walmart sells it but not in CO. :(

It's so beautiful out. We are getting so spoiled. I cancelled the party with the forecast of heavy wet snow. It honestly makes me sad but what could I do? Heidi, Uncle Larry and I are sending our cards.

Denine, I liked that movie, too.

Be careful what you do on facebook. I guess people are getting emails to reset their passwords and a virus is attached. It also said to take off your birthdate on Facebook.

Susan, you are in my thoughts today.

Mom - It was so nice out yesterday and now it is snowing! It is a really wet snow with big flakes. Right now it is only sticking to the grass but I think soon it will be sticking to the roads. I will send Sam's card off too then.

Denine - I hope work goes okay for you today.

You are very welcome Susan!

I'm enjoying the snow. It is so wet. With the warm temps we have been having it hasn't been sticking to the roads. They still say 7-12" but I can't believe it. I kind of wish I didn't cancel the party. Ted has a bad cold so it's probably best with a 90 year old and Tyler in attendance.

Ted and I are looking into going to Cozumel sometime in April. Either April 5-15th or April 18-25. The flight for the ten day is cheaper but then we have to pay 3 more days for the hotel. At least we only pay for the food and not the lodging. Ted is so stressed at work. He has to get away. Thank goodness that retirement is a year and 1/2 away. Our resort just had an outbreak in early March of a virus much like the Norwalk virus. That makes me a tad nervous. Guess I will pack lysol. We have two resorts that we can go to in Cozumel but we have already been at one and our American friend runs the club at the other and she sooooo wants us to go there at least once.

Susan - your welcome.

Mom - Go for the longer vacation. It will work out the same price but at least you have more time there! That is if dad can get it off!

Heidi, that's the one I want, too. I think dad does, also, but he would have to use his extra holiday vacation days for it. Not sure if that is a good thing when it gets closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas. But then again, right after the holidays we have the cruise.

Wow oh wow. Is it ever snowing right now. Barely can see the houses across the street.

Mom - I called dad early early this morning and told him we were getting off early and getting a snow day! Wish it were true! I wonder how the roads are.

Susan: You are welcome!

Sandy: I hope you don't get too much snow. It is best that you didn't have the party since Ted is sick. Go for the longer trip!

I actually got out almost on time today. I had a good crew of caregivers today.

Gorgeous day! We all went for a walk. I don't want winter to come back!

Kaleigh is in the tub.

Jerry rented "Knowing" last night. We didn't get to finish watching it since he had a problem at work. It has Nicolas Cage in it. We will watch the rest tonight.

We get to go out tomorrow. Nothing fancy, just getting out by ourselves. Heck, I don't even care if we go to McD's at this point!

Susan, I'm glad you enjoyed the flowers. They really mean a lot when it comes from great family and friends and we are both!:hug:

Heidi and Sandy, did you guys get much snow? We have been having a beautiful spring right now here. It has been in the upper 50's and 60's for the last week or so. This is wonderful. I know we are due for another snow (we usually get one storm just when everyone gets use to this kind of weather and are thinking summer) but we are enjoying it right now.

Garry ended up NOT going down to testify. I think they continued the case for another day. We have had a few rough days up here police-wise. We had a 30yr old officer drop while chasing someone. They said it was heart related, he wasn't married but had a 2 yr old daughter and another officer was shot and killed on monday. He was shot 6 times by a wacko and then hit in the head while down. He called for help but this sicko decided to kill him while he was down bleeding to death. He was 43yrs and had a wife and 3 girls - 17yrs, 14yrs, and 8yrs. The only "good thing" if you can say that is the officers that tried to come to his aide, killed the wacko. This guys was arrested for several several other things in the past and was just an all around bad person. I feel so sorry for both of these officers families.

I've been having issues with a heel spur and have had 2 shots in my heel. but nothing is working. I might have to have it shaved off. I can never have anything simple. But I did go for a 5 mile walk today in this wonderful weather.... now I'm paying for it, but I do like our walks!

Well, gonna go. Just thought I would check in..... Oh yeah ... Sandy... if you can , go for the longer trip.....

TTFN

Julie: Sorry about your heel spur. Glad Garry didn't have to testify.

I have been busy e-mailing our represntatives about the healthcare bill. I knew we were going to have to be more politically active when Obama was elected.

Supposed to be another nice day.

Happy first day of Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope it lasts!

Julie - that is so sad about the officers that lost their lives, very tragic. We did get a lot of snow but it was really wet so it has been melting quickly. I think this morning we had about 6 inches outside, but a lot of the snow melted before it really accumulated. Today it is beautiful blue skies out for the first day of Spring! I hope your spurs go away without having the be shaved, that sounds painful.

Denine - Have fun with Jerry tonight!

Julie, I can sympathize. Bone spurs are PAINFUL. I have some in both feet that they won't take out. Stacey's FIL had surgery and they took his off. They say they don't do it anymore. The shots did nothing for me either. If you get the surgery done, I will be soooooo jealous!! They found mine during my plantar faschiitis days. I sure feel for those officers and families. How sad.

Denine, the healthcare reform scares me to death.

Heidi, so you did end up getting the girls. Wasn't sure as the roads were pure ice this morning.

Well, COZUMEL here we come. Ten glorious days at the beach. I can't wait. Where we are staying is known for the best beach on the island. It's next door to where we stayed last time. The resort isn't as glamorous but we promised our friend. Ted and I aren't so much about glamour anyway. Heidi, it has a FIRST CLUB. Mmmmm. yummy drinks.

Mom - I am jealous, wish we could go. Thanks for asking us....we can take the hint.....lol! Yay for First Club drinks, they are the best. Take lots of pictures. What beach? Yes we do have the girls, Chris got them yesterday. Tonight we are having a Twilight movie marathon! They are already trying to kick their dad upstairs and suggesting that he go upstairs for bed, too funny!

Well it looks like the healthcare bill is a done deal. Welcome to Obamacare.

Susan: How did everything go today?

We had a nice time last night. We went to Fridays and ended up getting their 3 for 13 deal. We each had a salad and then I had this yummy sizzling parmesan chicken that came with a side of pasta. Jerry had the chicken bruschetta. Then we each had peanut butter pie for dessert. OMG was that ever good! I ate the chicken but only a few bites of pasta.

Then we went to Toys R Us for the Easter Bunny and then to Kohls. I got some new slippers and some Easter/Spring kitchen towels on sale. Also got Kaleigh some socks. Nothing exciting.

We tried going to Dave & Buster's, but it was jam packed. We played one driving game (which got me sick) and then we were going to go to the bar for a drink. Again, no place to sit. So, we went home, dropped off our stuff and went to pick Kaleigh up.

We had a glass of wine after she went to bed.

Today was just a lazy day. We went to Target. We had another errand for the Easter Bunny. Kaleigh also needed new shoes for Easter.

Tomorrow is back to school.
