Poor Kaleigh, mid term tests. Yuck. I hate tests.

Heidi, the class was in the Ice House bldg. It was really cool.

Brrrr, still looks cold and damp out. I would love to know how much moisture this storm brought. The news said it wasn't much BUT they couldn't have driven in it then.

Gotta get serious this week and clean the house to get ready for the birthday party. Everything else is last minute.

Susan, thinking of you today and sending big hugs. LYMI

Oh and Heidi, I figured it out and forgot to tell you. Joey and Tyler have to be registered for the walk under Stacey because it shows her paying 75.00 as a participant. I got smart, huh?!!! :)

We finished the first round of tests for the CAT. Kaleigh got anywhere from 95% to 97% on all of them. I don't know how that translates into percentile. She only missed 1 question on 5 of the 6 tests. She missed 2 questions on the 6th test. Tomorrow is math.

Kaleigh LOVES to take tests!

I hated tests. I would just freeze. Anything I knew going in was gone when they handed me the paper. Keep up the good work, Kaleigh.

Heidi, when will Chris be home from school today?

Sandy: I was the same way with tests, especially standardized tests.

Denine - I really didn't want to see the movie, it just didn't interest me but I have never been an AIWL fan anyway. It took awhile to gain my interest but when it did I enjoyed the movie. If we were to go again, I wouldn't spend the extra money to see it in 3D IMAX, I just didn't think there was that many special effects.

Heidi: I love AIWL. It is one of my favorite movies. Thanks for letting me know how it was in 3D.

More testing today.

The sun is out!!!!!!!!!!

Susan: Thinking of you!

Barb: Come back!

Hi guys, sitting here trying to figure out what to do with the birthday party on Saturday. They are talking now of several inches of snow Friday into Saturday. I don't want to be stuck with all that food. I also don't want a 90 year old man to drive in it.

I was thinking of that myself but not sure Stacey can even drive up to either house if it's bad. If everyone else can come, maybe, Ted can go up and get him. It's hard to know how many to plan for. Heidi's girls are suppose to come down, too. Time will tell and then it will be rush, rush after that I suppose.

I hope it works out for you. When you are 90, you never know how much time is left unfortunately.

Census received and filled out ready to be mailed tomorrow. I couldn't believe how short it was. Of course, last time, we got the long form, so this was really easy.

My sentiments exactly. 90 is a huge milestone and it has to be celebrated somehow. I was sooooooooooo dreading the census. Got it yesterday and it was a breeze. Mailed it today with a sigh of relief. We had the long form last time, too.

Mom - When I saw the weather report, I thought the same thing. Why is the weather always against us when we try and plan things. I guess we wait until Friday night to see, I can always help run and pick up stuff on Saturday morning. If you need something from Walmart I will be there at midnight on Friday (technically Saturday morning) with the girls so we can always pick up stuff then!

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Susan and her family on the loss of her father.:hug::hug::sad1::sad1::sad1:

I didn't want to put this on the same post.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.
I started my day with Irish Breakfast Tea ( I always do that) with some Bailey's Irish cream creamer (it's new). The corned beef and potatoes are in the crockpot and I am going to make Irish Soda Bread. Then there will be a bit of Bailey's (the real thing) after Kaleigh goes to bed.
I have to celebrate the small amount of Irish heritage I have. I know where in Ireland my ancestors came from but I don't know where Kaleigh's came from. I just know she has some Irish heritage. Jerry has abosolutely none!

It is supposed to be gorgeous today, so I hope to get outside a bit. I have crocuses blooming in the yard and other spring flowers showing their leaves above the ground.

Denine - I didn't realize Susan's dad passed away, thanks for posting so I know.

Susan - you and your family are all in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.:hug::grouphug::grouphug::hug::hug: We are here for you.

Susan, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. You and your family are in my heart and prayers.

I had the best lunch today. Joey and Tyler came up here after school and we went to McDonalds. Joey got a happy meal with stickers in it. One had BFF on it. I told her what BFF stood for and she took it off the sheet and put it on me. She said she had to give it to me because I was her BFF. Awwwwww.

Stacey talked to the neurologist yesterday and she wants to do an MRI and a spinal tap. She is not happy that Tyler is still having seizures. Plus, she wants him off one of the medications because of his platelets. She said, again, that she doesn't know if Stacey realizes how sick he was when he was in the hospital. She says that over and over. We knew he was bad but with her saying it over and over, it had to have been BAD. I know one conversation we had with the team said that he couldn't have gone on much longer and it was good he got there when he did. YIKES! My old heart is sad and scared again.

Hi everyone. I didn't have everyone's email with me earlier and I knew you'd get the message around. Dad had a rough last week and and aspecially Monday and Tuesday but at the end he passed peacefully and we were all by his side. He is being cremated and we are havign a memorial service on Sunday. Thank you all for your love and support over the last few weeks/months/etc. My Dad was very special to me ( I think you all know that). I am so glad he is cancer free and in the kingdom of heaven now. I will miss him terribly but he was ready to go and I was ready to let him end this hard journey and begin his new life with God.

You all have abeen a rock for me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
