I guess I am talking to myself this weekend.

I am feeling much better today. I spent a lot of yesterday in bed sleeping and never got out of my jammies.

The sun is out but it is cold, only 20 right now.

Hoping to make it to Julie's party this evening.

Glad you feel better, Denine.

We got several inches of rain this time but no snow or ice. Today the sun is out a little.

I am heading to my Dad's in a couple of hours and will stay though the day tomorrow.

Have a great Super Bowl Sunday everyone!!

Love you guys!

Hi guys, sorry Denine that you had to talk to yourself. Glad Susan popped in.

Our weather is chilly with very fine snow. Not really adding up. Thinking of Chris as he has to drive in it to drop off the girls.

Went to see Avatar with everyone yesterday. We saw it 3D IMax. I really liked it. I surprised myself.

Made deep dish pizza tonight. Thanks Heidi for the pizza crust.

I enjoyed the SuperBowl last night! It was a great game, I am so excited the team I was cheering won! Did anyone else watch Undercover Boss? I think I am going to really like that show.

Happy chilly, sunny, Monday! It is 13!

Sandy: Glad you enjoyed Avatar. It actually looks like an interesting movie. Julie and Julia was really good. Meryl Streep did an awesome job as Julia Child.

Heidi: Sorry to hear about your burns. Hope they are feeling better!

We had a fun time and Julie's last night. I should have known better. She told me they were just having munchies. She could have fed an army! You never wallk away hungry from one of Julie's parties! Unlike my brother or Jerry's brother where you have to watch how much you eat so there is enough for everyone!

Julie: Thank you for having us last night. I hope the kids were able to get up for school this morning. Kaleigh was asleep by the time we got to the parkway!

Susan: Glad you just got rain. Thinking about you!

Barb: How was your weekend?

We are getting more snow tomorrow/Wednesday. They are saying 6-10" at this point. Jerry heard we got about a foot from this last storm but who can tell with all the drifting? Supposed to get more blowing and drifting with the next storm too.

Denine - I WANT your snow!!!! We are getting snow right now and it looks like it is really coming down, I just want it to accumulate and I am talking that I want feet of snow! I think we are only suppose to get an inch more, which is so disappointing to me. Glad you had a fun time at the Lauter's yesterday.

Snow and more snow and yet it's easy driving. Probably not when Heidi comes home though.

Julie and Denine, glad you had a great time at the Super Bowl party. As you know, we aren't sports enthusiasts so we just watched movies. Oh and talked to Heidi a few times. LOL

Barb, oh Barb. How's the snow down your way? Our favorite server at our favorite restaurant was headed down to Mexico today to drop his parents off at his brothers. His parents were here for over a month. According to the news, the southern part has it the worst. He is due back here on Wednesday. Has a 15 hour drive both ways. Kind of makes me nervous!

Susan, I bet you are tired of the weather you are getting this year. You, Denine and Julie need to send the snow our way. The ski areas aren't doing all that good.

Mom - How is Javiar's arm? Is he doing better?

We didn't get much snow yesterday, maybe 2 inches. It is icy out there right now but I am sure it will gett better later on. It's suppose to be cold today but no snow.

The snow is on its way. We had some light stuff this morning. The heavy stuff isn't supposed to be here until later into tomorrow with a lot of blowing and drifting. They talked about winds from the East which means we will be snowed in at the end of the driveway and Jerry has to monitor the furnace vent pipe. This last storm the snow at the end of the driveway after the plow went by was waist high on Jerry.

Kaleigh's PSR may be cancelled tonight and Jerry will probably work from home tomorrow.

Sandy: Jerry and I don't like football, but we went to the party to have fun with the Lauter's.

Yep, PSR was canceled. Kaleigh is bummed, but what are you gonna do?

I see the neighbor across the street already out shoveling.

Good grief Denine. You guys are getting slammed. I remember a couple of years ago when we got hit every weekend and several inches to feet each time. We made a sledding hill in the front. Talk about fun!! But on the other side, it gets very tiresome. I feel for you!

Heidi, Javier's is wearing some sort of a brace. As you know workmans comp covered it so his care isn't the best. Poor guy. They never determined IF he broke it. Never got a cast.

Sandy: I hope you are getting better.

I read today that they have to truck in snow for the Olympics! They can come get ours!

Denine - How is everything? Did you get a lot of snow?

Mom - What kind of cancer does Bonnie Hartley have?

Heidi, we didn't get the snow that they were predicting.... maybe a few inches but not the foot that they were saying. The weather people always cry wolf when they think we COULD get snow.... it was just a bunch of hype... The snow was all around us, but we didn't get it. It was all south of us around here. We got a pocket of just a few inches.. the kids were all upset because EVERYONE was talking about the HUGE storm, and we got nothin'! I can't stand people who cry "oh my we are going to get pounded" and get everyone so "hyped" and 9 times out of 10 we don't get anything. So far, our weather hasn't been anywhere close to being "record breaking" or even in the top 10! Everyone talks about how Cleveland has the worst winters... and for the 40 yrs I've been around, I don't think our winters come close to those in Buffalo or even Chicago. Oh well, what can I say? People who love to complain will always find something to complain about, even if they don't know what they are talking about. I love reporters/writers who don't live in the area who think they are experts! Cleveland always get a raw deal ... we are always the jokes and I don't understand it. Oh well.... ( can you tell I'm upset we didn't get the snow? ;)) Of COURSE we are getting some snow showers right now..... :(!!!!! But still nothing to go all "crazy" over... we might be getting a few more inches...... nothing NOTHING like they are getting on the east coast.

Sandy, how did PT go? I hope that it's helping.

Barb, so what creative projects are you doing?

Susan, thinking about you! I hope that things are going well.

Denine, Garry's friend John who was here for the super bowl, ending up in the hospital later that night with his gall bladder. He had to have emergency gall bladder surgery to have it removed. He should be coming home today..... Never a dull moment around here!

Well, gonna run! Have a great day everyone!

TTFN

Julie: Oh my! He sure didn't act ill at the house unless he was covering very well. Glad he is doing better. Nice guy. His daughter was sweet too.

Thank goodness we didn't get the snow they were predicitng! Sorry Julie. We got several inches, but I guess some drier air moved in and broke it apart. We are still to get a few more inches today with blowing and drifting. What I don't understand are schools that cancel based on a forecast. Elyria did that and now the kids across the street are out shoveling when they should be in school. Jerry went into work today. No reason to work from home.

Just school and laundry today, I think.

How funny about the snow because we get the same kind of deal. It's gonna be a good one and then it's just a dusting......LOL

PT went fine. Pain is pretty much gone but it turned into numbing and tingling. If that doesn't go away by next week then it will be a MRI.

Heidi, Bonnie has lung cancer, I believe.

Julie - That is always such a huge disappointment for me as well when we don't get the projected huge snow amounts. I love the snow and love the snow days.

Denine - Wow, schools closed based on the forecast...that never happens here. Those are some lucky kids!

Mom - Glad PT went okay.

We had school today.... there were only a few that closed "based on the projected storm" and those school are ones that have lots of busing. Where Denine lives isn't in the country, but they have lot of busing because they don't have tons and tons of schools in the system. We have some busing (they took most of it away when the level didn't pass) BUT we also have like 11 or more elementary schools, 3 middle schools and 3 high schools. Those school systems that closed because of the "possibility" are those that only have a few schools and have to bus everyone.
