Last day before back to work!!! I, too, am doing laundry AGAIN!!!

We went to church this morning and then went to see my Dad for a short visit. He's doing good today. I'm making lasagne for dinner. Not much more going on.

Later!:grouphug:

We are home safe and sound. The biggest problem was the gusting winds in the mountains in PA. Jerry was white-knuckling it trying to keep the car on the road.

Sandy: Bonefish wasn't any more expensive than other places. Jerry and I each had fish and chips and it was $10.90 each. There was a lot of food. The service was excellent.

Susan; Glad to hear from you. Glad your dad is having a good day.

Jazzy is much better, but now he has the infection in his other eye, typical. It looks like it just started.

Leaving at 7 AM to get to Kaleigh's doctor appointment.

Welcome back Denine. Glad you are safe. Thanks for the price on your fish and chips. That isn't bad at all and we both like fish and chips! Let us know what they say about Kaleigh tomorrow.

Thanks Sandy! I will let you know what we find out tomorrow. Right now, I know Kaleigh will be having a breathing test prior to seeing the doctor.

Good morning.

Denine - Glad you made it home okay. Let us know about Kaleigh.

Susan - I am so happy your dad was having a good day and you could spend time with him.

The Broncos lost yesterday so I guess I will have to wait until next season hoping they get into the play offs.

Our household full will be leaving today. It was fun, but I am ready to get some sleep and not have to entertain people constantly as that gets exhausting after a week for 3 people. If Heidi didn't do it, then no one did it and then all I heard was that they were bored. Thankfully that is done with now and I only have to work 4 days this week!

Good Morning

Hope everyone had a good New Years Eve. We had 3 parties to go to. First one was at Melanies house. She and Blake were discharged that afternoon so we got to hold him and visit with Melanie. She was tired but looked great. Baby Blake is pretty cute. We left there and went to one of my friends who lives in Palmer Lake. OMG she has a beautiful huge home. Looks like a model home. Really really had a nice time there. We hung out to long at her house and ended up being on the road at midnight in route to my neices house. So we didn't get to ring in the new year with family as per the plan. Had a nice time at Crissy's house though. She is expecting her baby in July. She is so excited. She is wearing maternity clothes and doesnt need them.:rotfl: Very excited for her.

Tiffany left yesterday. I got the upstairs cleaned. All the outside lights are down. Got everything down but 2 of my trees. Will probably take them down next week.

Susan-Glad to hear your Dad is doing ok.

Denine-Hope Kaleigh's appointment goes well. Poor Jazzy. New year so No more sick in your house!

Heidi-Glad your house is quieting down. Who was here? I am sure you posted but I missed it.

Sandy-I know what you mean about the snow. At least ours is old snow Jaymee has had snow on top of snow on top of snow on top of snow. 4 storms. She sends pictures once in a while of their cars burried. BLAH! Makes me happy we live in Colorado.

Barb - Chris's niece from Florida was here along with the girls.

My coworker just told us that her older brother (age 20) was hit by a train on New Years. Alcohol was involved and they are saying that is why he is probably still alive because the train ran over his legs and he pulled himself to the street without realizing his legs weren't attached. She is so devastated but won't leave work, she just turned 19 and doesn't have the best family life. I have no idea what to do for her.

OMG Heidi, that is HORRIBLE. WOW, was that here in CO? I feel so bad and don't really know IF there is anything you can do.

Barb, I love Palmer Lake. It's so cozy. You had a busy New Years with even a newborn. How nice! Believe me, I am all too familiar with Omaha. We had the snow in Sioux Falls like they did. My friend still in Sioux Falls was telling me about the Chrismas snow. Glad I am not there anymore. So many plans had to change.

Denine? So what's the verdict on Kaleigh?

Susan, back to work now?

Julie, just that little post and nothing else?

Hey everyone.

I sent everyone an email about Kaleigh. It was just easier than posting it since I had already written the e-mail to my parents. The one thing not in the e-mail is that they also did allergy skin testing for 14 environmental allergens. They all came back negative.

The roads are awful and it is still snowing. We left the house before 7 AM and didn't get to the hospital until 8:45. Between the roads not having been touched and rush hour, UGHHH!!!!!

We are going to go to Olive Garden since I have no food in the house. At least we have a gift card and coupon.

I will post more later.

Good grief, Denine. You have to be so frustrated. At least they are checking into it further!

Heidi, I will have to check out the link. FYI, your rings are at the bank now. I forgot and dad thankfully reminded me. I also just called the bank to let them know we are taking our Mastercard. They noted it on our account. So then I called AmEx and they said I didn't need to call them. Not sure what your plans are.

Heidi, I forgot to add that I asked Noemi at Del Taco how to ask for extra water bottles. I printed up something for both of us to leave the maid on Sunday morning.

Cool, thanks mom! Guess I won't call Amex then and just call Chase.

Just finished clapping Kaleigh's chest. I have to do it for 3-4 minutes in 3 different places. I only did 3 mi nutes each side. It is tiring!

Sandy: It is frustrating, but I think we are finally going to get to the bottom of this.

I found water in the basement earlier. Jerry figured out that the sump pump overflowed because the outlet pipe froze. So now he is out shoveling snow and putting boiling water on the outlet pipe.

Plus, Jerry accidently hit the panic button on the alarm fob on his keys while outside and the alarm went off. Of course, the cops showed up and he had to explain what happend.

We forgot to call the credit card company that we were going out of town, and got messed up.

Barb: Sounds like a busy, but fun New Years.

Heidi/Sandy: I hope you fun in Mexico. Enjoy the warmth for me. It is still snowing here.

OH MY GOSH, WE JUST WATCHED THE SCARIEST TRUE STORY MOVIE.:scared1::eek::scared1: It's called The Strangers with Liv Tyler. It made me sick to my stomach it was so scary. Knowing it was true from the beginning made it twice as bad. Nightmares for me tonight.

Denine, clapping? What does that mean. Good grief, can anything else go wrong? Hugs!

Good Morning

Trying to get some things out of the way before the calls start pouring in. I usually get a few minutes in the morning although I heard yesterday Cleveland had bad weather and 400 people called off plus we are short here. Busy day!

Heidi-How terrible about your co-workers brother. Sounds like she is in shock poor girl. Hope things get better.

Sandy- MEXICO! WOOHOO How fun is that!! Getting out of the cold here too Lucky you!!

Denine-Thank you for the update on Kaleigh. You have good instinks with her. They should have listened to you a long time ago! Hope our little Princess gets better.

Julie-You must be busy getting ready for Disney. Did the kids go back to school yet? Ethan starts today. I sure miss Christmas vacations

Susan-How was your first day back at work? Bet you were busy!

Well better get started have some more to take care before I get to busy.

Good morning.

Mom - I saw that movie when it came out. It is a good movie, but the true part is only partially true as it is supposed to based off of a murder that happened in Czech Republic where an Austrian couple are terrorized in their vacation home by three teenagers and are later killed in the forest when they try to escape. I had read that nothing had been confirmed about those murders and is just hear say.

Sandy: If you have ever seen someone with Cystic Fibrosis on TV getting their chest pounded, that is chest clapping. It is supposed to break up mucous that can then be coughed up. That is what I have to do with Kaleigh.

The weather sucks! It is still snowing. At least we don't live in the snowbelt where they have upwards of 2 feet, but the roads are still bad.

We are taking today off of school so I can get things back to normal around here, whatever that is.

Jazzy seems worse today. I need to listen to his heart and lungs to see if I need to take him back to the vet.

Heidi: Sorry about your co-workers brother.

Sandy: Never heard of the movie. We watched Fireproof with Kirk Cameron at our friends house. Good movie. We also watched ET. Kaleigh had never seen it and I don't think I have seen it since it came out. We ended up watching it twice for Kaleigh.

Still need to go to Strongsville to pick up the x-rays and my bonus and pay-stub at work. Not going with bad roads though.

Kaleigh starts PSR again tonight.

Heidi, your interpretation of the movie makes me feel a tad better. The beginning specifically states, true story. Not that it has been changed but that some of the things that happened that night will never be known.

Barb, Tyler and Joey start school today, too. Tyler might not go as he has a bad cold. You and Heidi both are running short on staff. How frustrating!

Denine, Ted and I saw Fireproof awhile ago. It's a good movie. I have never seen clapping but it honestly sounds like it would hurt to have it done. Sorry about your weather. It's a crazy year for the whole nation it seems! Mexico is running a little colder than normal as well.
