I too was never a fan of MJ but it was so cute about Stacey. She was soooooooo little to be a fan of anyone. Always liked FF. Glad the car is FINALLY done. It sure helps to trust the person who worked on it.

Just killing time. I played some baseball with Kaleigh and now she is down the street playing with her friends.

I got a brainy idea yesterday. I thought of Shirley and the Perfect gift to get Ted's pepsi. So............I am trying to put together a basket. They will do a twelve pack of Pepsi and they will do alcohol. I think I will do the pepsi, chips, salsa, nacho cheese and premade Margaritas. Can anyone come up with anything else that I am forgetting? He isn't into hats, magazines or anything like that. I was trying to come up with something else "fun".

Good idea Sandy! Maybe a disposable camera, peanuts/cashews, sunscreen, pretzels, mints/tic tacs or gum?

We had her do baskets for the kids last time and they turned out wonderful! I love her!

Had a very nice day here. We all went into the pool and played around for several hours and of course Garry got burnt AGAIN! He got burnt down at Disney, he peeled and now burnt again! I think he is worse then before. We are trying to figure out why he is burning so much. (Yeah I know Garry.... cause you're HOT! LOL!!!) We don't know if it's he vitamins or something else he is taking (but the problem is he really isn't taking anything that he wasn't on before.) He has gotten "pink" several times before but now ever since the baseball game where he got roasted, all he is doing is burning!!! He is sooooooooooooooooooo RED right now his skin hurts just by looking at him! He's gonna be feeling this for awhile!

Well, tomorrow I'm going with my mom to put my dad in a skilled nursing facility for the next month or so. My mom is having knee surgery on monday and there is no way that my dad can be by himself for the 4 days she will be in the hospital, PLUS there is no way that my mom can do the things she has been doing for him for at least a month after her surgery. SO, for awhile it's gonna be a little crazy AGAIN here. I will be taking her on monday at 6:00am and then stay until she is out of surgery and in her room and then I have "The list" of people to call and give them the scoop and then stop by dad's to tell him she's ok and make sure he is ok, then go over and take care of her cats, AND Brooke starts Safety Town Monday morning for 2 weeks! PLUS Garry goes back to work. Not to mention that's suppose to rain for the next couple of days.

Julie: Pixie dust to your mom for me. What SNF are you putting your dad in? I know it will be hard, but what else can you do? Your mom needs to recover. I feel Garry's sunburn pain. I am now in the molting phase from my major burn last Sunday.

Didn't get the jam made yesterday so it will be made when I am done on the computer. The grass got cut yesterday instead. We are still having to cut the grass every few days. Can't even go a week and we are getting more rain. Plus, the summer weather is over for now. Supposed to be in the 60's on Tuesday.

I am taking Kaleigh to work with me tomorrow. This will be interesting.

I took Jerry's stitches out yesterday.

Barb - how was your weekend? My mom and I thought about you this weekend, we think we might have been over by your house on Saturday but wasn't exactly sure! We went to eat at Smash Burger, my new found addiction! We were on Powers by a Super Target and Kohls!

Hey all!

Julie: How is your mom?

I took Kaleigh to work with me this morning and she did fine. She said she wants to come again. I got my schedule for July and I actually have 4 Fridays plus I picked up 1 Wednesday. I don't know why she was so generous with my time, but after spending almost $1500 on the car, I can use the money!

Kaleigh has a library program this evening.

I made 4 batches of freezer jam and 4 loaves of strawberry bread yesterday.

Strawberry bread??? Yum, sounds delicious. That is the first time I have heard of strawberry bread and I LOVE strawberries. Glad Kaleigh did good at work for you.

Busy busy busy today. Lots of calls.

Tiffany and I took Ethan to the pool yesterday. Tiffany now looks like a lobster. Got sunscreen on Ethan but totally forgot his face so his checks are red.

Heidi & Sandy-You guys crack me up about the FT. I finally got my house! Took forever. So now I will just sit back and enjoy. It takes a long time to get up to the higher levels now.

I have some potatoes that need harvesting if anyone is free

So we were by your house??? Not too sure, all I remember is we were lost and on a mission trying to find camping world in Fountain, trying to beat the storm, and I was using my dad's GPS and got us all lost. But at least my dad was a trooper and laughed with us. I just had to go eat at the stupid Smash Burger place, yup, it's all my fault we got so off track.
