Hi guys!

Barb, we haven't gone to WDW yet. We leave a week from today! I think the owner's locker is good even if you do only go once a year. You can put all the stuff you "always" pack that makes your luggage so heavy, so all you have to pack is clothes. Plus if you go on a cruise, you can have it delivered and you can take what you need.

Maiden voyage would be nice, but I think I will wait for the 3 or 4 trip out. I heard the stories from the first maiden voyages with all the "kinks" that still needed to be worked out. I believe that one of the Disney ships had a problem with the toilets and another with water. But it will be nice to be on a new ship!

Denine, sorry to hear about Kaleigh's game. Our fields were wet but still playable. There were games and practices going on all over Parma and Parma Hts. last night. Makenzie had soccer practice last night and tonight G Dog has football and then soccer practice on Thursday. His last game is sunday for the championship. Makenzie is in a soccer tournament this weekend and then both kids are done with sports for the summer until fall. The enjoy swimming in the summer and I make it our "down time" since there are no sports going on.

Sandy, I will keep looking for any deal that might come up for you for the hotel. Glad to hear that Heidi and family are having a good time. glad to hear that Tyler had some grandma and grandpa time.

Just re-read my post. With calls coming in so fast I rarely have time to read them before I post. If I don't post it I usually lose it during the call. I bet 99.9% of my posts I have had to go back in and edit Thanks for not making any comments about my errors!

Julie-Do you get to take it with you on the cruise? That is a really cool perk! I am floored that I was that off on your Disney trip. I not only thought you were back but I totally thought you were posting from Disney last week! DOH!! Man I gotta start reading the back posts!! Ummmm heh heh HAVE A SUPER FUN TIME ON YOUR DISNEY TRIP JULIE!

Barb, I believe you can take it with you on the cruise, but if you stay at a DVC resort, they deliver the locker(s) to you at the resort, take what you need, and they will keep it at the resort until you come back. At least as long as you aren't staying at OKW. OKW doesn't have the storage area to keep them. OR if you were staying at one place before the cruise and another place after, they will deliver it to other resorts. They deliver to a lot of places, not just disney resorts. We did this in October when we went on our cruise. We stayed at Saratoga Springs before and after the crusie, had our lockers delivered before the cruise, took what we needed out of the lockers, had bell services come and pick them up, and they stored it there until we got back from the cruise and called for them. Then we called them when we checked out to come and pick them up and the men in the purple van came and got the lockers and put them into storage until our next visit.

We no longer pack rain coats, flip flops, when the kids were younger - pull ups, diapers, etc... It really is a great idea if you have lots of extras you have to bring back and forth. They also store strollers!!!! If you need any more info about it, just PM me or email me!!!!

I don't know what I would do without my lockers!!!! It makes traveling sooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier now!!!

Barb, no need to worry about not reading or making mistakes. We all do that! I know when I get back I either skim or just don't get caught up.

Julie, what's the matter? Not up for a mystery cruise....not ports but what will go wrong with the ship. I will look at it as an adventure. (just no Titanic kind of thing, please) Wow, sports, sports and more sports. At least you get "summer" off for swimming. Isn't that what summer is all about? As a kid, it was for me. Hey, thanks for keeping an eye out for a deal for me. It's the difference of about 170.00 to maybe 80.00.

It's crazy. Kids and sports. They protect the fields but if it is lightning...no problem......there will be a practice or game.

Sandy, we haven't had any " storm" with lightening or even thunder, just rain. We did have a thunder-boomer the other night around 11pm ish but all it has done is rain and we do have practice in rain here, lightening - nope nothing but just raining - yep practice, games anything goes then!

We've had major lightning but I think we tend to get more of it because of our altitude. At least, that's what I think I have heard.

Good Morning!

YAY it my Friday!! T-ball practice tonight. Hope it is not called because of rain. The sun is out now, first time since Saturday but more showers possible this afternoon. I love the rain!

Julie-Thanks for the information on the lockers. I really think we are going to do it this year.

I have been cleaning the house late at night. Trying something different so I don't have to clean all day on the weekend. With summer here (kinda) I spend so much time in the yard I didn't want to be stuck all weekend cleaning. The other night I was on my hands and knees mopping floors at 11:30 pm! Don't have to do it on Saturday though YAY! Missy and I are going garage sale ing this weekend. Have not done that for years. Should be fun.

Good Morning all!

WE'RE GONNA SEE BONNIE IN WDW!!!!!

She was on facebook last night and told me that she will be down there from June 12-17th. I guess she is going to be going with her son and his family. she said she would like to get Olivia and Brooke together. She is gonna be SHOCKED when she sees G Dog and Makenzie. She can still see then as the 3 yr old little girl running out of the restaurant on the cruise ship and of COURSE G Dog drinking the wine off the deck!!


Well gotta finish getting the kids ready for school! Will be back later!

Barb, when I worked that was the biggest gripe I had. I hated not to have a weekend because of the house. I think you are doing it the right way. We have zero sun but we did have it yesterday off and on.

Julie, yippee. Give her a hug from Ted and I. What I'm mad about is that she is flying back through Denver and only has an hour. Not enough time for me to go out there to see her.

Baseball was called again last night. Again, the sun came out later. Kaleigh is upset that both of her games this week were cancelled. Next one is Tuesday and they are calling for rain.

Barb: We kept our Locker in the car the last time we cruised.

Kaleigh is a 2nd grader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finished school today.

We are going to the drive-in to see Up tonight. At least if we don't fall asleep first.

My fridge is fixed (keeping all fingers and toes crossed!) He didn't come until after 3PM though.

No way Kaleigh is a second grader. Do you realize how long we all have been friends? I think we all relate to Kaleigh being a newborn.

Barb, shock, shock, to see you on facebook. It took Heidi's push to get me on. I am not very active at all.

Just got a phone call from Stacey. Tyler is having non stop seizures today. Then on top of that, a person that Heidi hooked her up with in regards to the Keto diet had a death in the family. Let me explain. This girl, Terry, has a son who was on the Keto diet and she has been very helpful to Stacey. Well, about a week ago Terry's two year old niece had a 45 minutes seizure and was hospitalized and paralyzed. She started to come out of it and then her brain activity stopped. The little two year old just passed away today. It is soooo horrible to think about. The bad part is that all of us with kids and seizures are scared out of our wits now. Of all days for Tyler to have non stop seizures! Stacey thinks he is getting sick and that will definitely cause them.

Airfare went down so we are officially going. Just bought the tickets. Save us 150.00 from yesterday. Now I'm waiting on the Hyatt. I feel so much better!

Sandy: It is so sad when a child dies. My heart goes out to the family. I can understand being frightened. Congrats on getting the good airfare.
We still think of Kaleigh as an infant too. I can't believe where the time has gone.

Getting ready to go to the drive-in. I get to sleep in tomorrow, but Jerry still has to work. At least he will be home so he can get up when he wants and work until he is done.

We are going to get season passes for Cedar Point! We haven't been since before Kaleigh was born. She will have a blast!


I can't wait for the popcorn!!!!!!!!!!

Sandy, that is so sad about the little girl. Tyler will be just fine. Your family is very strong and everyonel will help Tyler. Sickness tend to bring on other ailments so I'm sure Stacy is right abut Tyler, but I know that its hard on all of you.

Denine, Cedar Point, really? I thought you don't like roller coasters and that's what Cedar Point is.... America's Roller Coast!!!! LOL! With your back issues, that is the last thing I see you riding!! LOL! SURE, you have the money to spend on season passes to Cedar Point, but you couldn't come to Disney for a few days..... where are your priorities!!!!
Garry and I haven't been since G Dog was a baby, but even then we kept saying.... This isn't Disney! Where's the fast passes?..... Boy this place isn't as clean as Disney...... Look at all the gum stuck to the railings....... My cousin is working there this year so we will be up to see him.. My brother gets season passes too.

Sleep in huh? Don't know what that is! Garry wishes he could work from home. If your not busy this weekend, you could come and enjoy mine! Saturday... Makenzie has a soccer game at 12:35pm and then again at 3:50pm. ( It's soccer tournament weekend NOT) Sunday she has a soccer game at 12:35pm and if she wins that they play again around 3:50pm again. Meanwhile, G Dog has a birthday party to go to at 12pm then his championship game for football at 3pm. ALSO, I have to be at a wedding shower (also "baby shower" not really just have to bring the gift to the wedding shower the girls are sister in laws. and the baby shower is June 13th when we will be on vacation) at 3pm. Good Times!

Julie: That is how we were the last time we went to King's Island. It just wasn't very clean. I actually LOVE roller coasters. My head just doesn't like them as much anymore. I may try my Sea Bands and see if that helps. Jerry and I have ridden in the front seat of Millenium believe it or not. You can keep your busy weekend!

We saw Up and Star Trek last night. We didn't get home until after 2 AM. We LOVED Up and the short before the movie. I am not a Trekkie, but Jerry said there were a number of inconsistancies between the movie and the shows. Kaleigh saw about 30 minutes of Star Trek before she fell asleep. We were all up around 8 AM this morning.

No amusement parks for us either. Just not Disney. Like Julie said, gum all over. Gross. Rides not as cool etc.

Non stop seizures again today. They are upping one med. Cross your fingers. He doesn't seem sick so who knows.

Went to Pikes Peak today. The snow was waaaayyyy over our heads. I wish Heidi was around to show you pics. It was cool. The peak is 14,000plus in altitude. I don't think we have ever seen it like that this late.

Heidi gets off the ship tomorrow and will spend time with Chris's family. They get back here on Wednesday.

Sunday is the epilepsy walk. Not real sure what to do yet. Walk, take the wheelchair or sit out.

Back from the walk and I survived without the wheelchair. Sitting here icing the ankle. Doing fine. It was a nice morning for a walk.
