HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL!​

I won't be here so I have to post early.

We are having dinner tonight with Heidi and heading to bed extremely early. We have to get up around 2AM. Yuck!

Hopefully I will be on once or twice, if not, Have a great weeK.

We are home. We had an awesome time. The weather was awesome and so was the the temperature. THere was no rain the whole time.

We came home to rain every day so far.

I won't have much time to post until after the garage sale.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Just popping to say Hi! Had a wonderful Mother's day!!! Makenzie and I went to the Indian's game (Poor Garry is having his back pain again and there was no way he could sit in those seats for an entire game) and I caught a FOUL BALL!!! It was the third pitch of the game and I was in the middle of telling Makenzie about we have to watch out sitting down here because of the foul balls and what happens in the middle...... I caught it!!!!

G Dog won his football game today and his team is undefeated!!!

Garry surprised me with a vase of multi-colored tulips which are gorgeous!! The kids each made me a card. It was a very nice day!!!

I'm sorry I missed out on saying good bye to Sandy, but I know she is having the time of her life!!! I'm sure!

Well, gonna run! Have a great day and wonderful week!!!

Hola from Costa Rica! It is beautiful but horribly hot. The resort isn't like a typical Occidental but very nice, clean and beautiful. Small resort and that is nice. Tomorrow we are headed to the active volvano Arenal. Suppose to Zip line but I am not sure with my foot. Stay tuned on that one. Talked to some people about our river tour. They absolutely loved it, LOVED it. Told us so many stories about it. I am really looking forward to it on Wed.

My foot is really doing well. Our tour company met us at the airport holding a cane for me. How sweet! I have never ever seen an airport like that. It reminded me of something you might have seen on Mash. LOL

I have already been able to actually talk and see Tyler tonight at the hospital. It was good but hard to see his scared eyes. I also taked to Heidi and Joey too, She told her mom that when she talked to us that she heard a monkey. HOw cute!

Good Morning!

Back to work. We had such a wonderful trip. It was especially fun to have so much family down there. Ethan is almost exactly 40" so we got to go on big people rides! YAY!! that was an unexpected surprise. I had made a paper chain for Ethan that he cut everyday. We forgot to cut it on the last day so when we got home he wanted to cut it as soon as he did he said "Time to go to Disney Nana"

Sandy-Great news about Tyler. Hope the foot is doing better! Hugs to Tyler

Julie- You're awesome catching the ball! Sounds like a fun Mothers Day.

HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY MACKENZIE!!!!


What a fun age. I wish I had a 10 year old girl then I would have an excuse to see the Hannah Montana and High School Musical movies in the theater. I was bummed to miss the HS one, gotta get in on DVD now. I loved having girls that age.

Today is Joey's school day, I think I will take a nap while she is at school! I didn't sleep at all last night and then she woke up crying for Tyler this morning at 5:00am.

I am back.

Julie: That is so cool about the foul ball. We were at my nieces 1st communion party. We didn't get home until 7 Pm and I had a headache so I didn't call you back.

I didn't have much of a Mother's Day. See above.

I thought I was going to have to take Jazz to the vet this morning. He has been vomiting and having diarrhea for several days. All we are doing is cleaning up nasty messes. He seems to be better today.

The cause may be be food that wasn't cooled properly since our fridge is on the fritz since they changed the recalled part. It is 59 in my fridge. The freezer is still colder but not freezing like it should. The guy comes tomorrow afternoon. I haven't been grocery shopping since we got home. Jazz hasn't had any wet food or medicines in a few days.

Kaleigh's baseball practice was rained out on Friday.

I still have to finish pricing the garage sale stuff and then set it up. I need to borrow some tables from my neighbor if possible.

I have to get to BJ's after dinner.

Tomorrow is baseball practice

Wednesday evening is the first day of the sale

It continues Thursday through Saturday.

Jerry's mom wants him to take her dog to the vet to have it put to sleep. The only possiblle day is Thursday evening.

Friday I work.

Julie: When is Makenzie's party?

Jerry's work computer died Friday afternoon. He is hoping to get it fixed today.

I don't know which end is up.

Sandy: Have a great trip!

Barb: Sorry we missed you in WDW.

Heidi: How is Tyler?

Two tidbits abot our trip: Kaleigh finally got to be picked to fight the pirate in the Captain Jack show at the MK and she finally got picked to do Jedi training at the Studios. She was in her glory.

We spent 4 days with our friends from New York. They have 2 little girls, one is almost 6. We also found out they are expecting again.

For my birthday gift card, I bought a Jim Shore Cinderella piece. I also got my perfume which was my Mother's Day gift. I bought 2 Mickey sundresses with my bonus money from work.
Barb: Did you see the patchwork Mickey printed stuff? It was made into shorts, hats, handbags and dresses and I don't remember what else. I got the sundress. I wanted to get a matching one for Kaleigh, but she didn't want one until we could no longer find her size.
The other dress is black with leopard print Mickey heads all over it. Now, if the weather would cooperate around here I could wear them!

I can't think of anything else right now.

I feel like the worst auntie ever! Joey did not want to go to school today. When I was getting her dressed she kept crying saying she didn't want to go to school. Then I convinced her to go to school and she was fine. As soon as we walked through the door she started to cry. I was trying to get her to walk me around her room and show me everything but she wouldn't. The teacher said I could stay for awhile and I did but Joey would not participate and after years working at a daycare I knew the best for all was to give her a kiss, reassure her I would be back to pick her up and walk out. As I walked out she was screaming my name and saying she was scared. It took every ounce in my body to keep walking and not turn around. Ugh! Hopefully she is doing good now. We will probably go up and see Tyler after afternoon nap. Tyler is already complaining about being hungry, poor guy. He did get some sugar free jello though.

Heidi: Try not to feel too bad. Everything is out of whack for her. How did she do today?

Still cleaing up messes from Jazz, but he is getting better.

I worked on garage sale stuff for 2 hours last night and I have more to do.
Jerry told me this morning that there is a 70% chance of rain starting at 6 Pm tomorrow and that is the time the sale starts.

The Cavs are in the finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Cavs!

Tyler got to eat some real food today, he was able to eat eggs and bacon for breakfast. Still no seizures. He is talking clearer, but still talks very very quiet. Today was tumbling day for Joey at her gym class. She was doing good and then I left the window viewing area to talk with another mom and she freaked out and started crying, I think she thought I left her again. So I took my shoes off and went inside where the equipment is and sat down. She came over to me crying and sat on my lap begging to go home but I was not going to let her win this as she was just perfectly fine and I was sitting inside. Her other grandma came to watch her and tried talking to Joey but Joey was not having any of it. Her grandma told me, "looks like you are not going to win this one" and finally I got Joey to listen to me and she rejoined her class and finished it out. After gym, we went to the playground to play. We will go up and see Tyler again in a few hours.

My mom emailed me and is having fun. I think she is really struggling with not being here but I hope she is enjoying her vacation. They went to the volcano yesterday, but she didn't zipline. She said she is going to have to cancel the waterfall so I am guessing her foot must be bothering her. She is looking forward to the river excursion she is doing tomorrow so she said she isn't too disappointed about canceling the waterfall.

Denine - Hope Jazz is feeling better and the messes will stop quickly! I can't pick up animal messes, it makes me gag so poor Chris has to do it!

Hi from Costa Rica! A day of rest today, Pool and sun and sun and sun resulting in a burn. We both were being very careful and reaplied the sunscreen but our efforts didn't pay off but everyone here looks like lobstersl. I think the sun is more intense here. Going on a river tour tomorrow. They say 200 crocs per mile. Birds and monkeys should be seen as well. I am pretty excited. I am an emotional wreck over Tyler but hanging in there. I got to talk to him via skype on Sunday so that was nice.
