MVMCP: We were allowed in prior to the Halloween party and got shuffled into Tomorrowland. We need to do better than that.

Sue: Where do you want to meet?

We were able to go out to dinner last night. Jerry took another Imitrex and it finally kicked in. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse, yummy. We hadn't been there in a long time.

We also watched the video tape that started on the day we met Kaleigh and ended on the day her adoption was finalized.

Nothing else going on.

Gosh, don't complain about moisture. We just can't seem to get any. We were to get moisture starting tonight but now they say a 10-20% chance. All it will be is cold. Not good for the drought but good that it won't be wet for the trick or treaters.

Pixie dust to your daughter Jeanne. Hope the fire doesn't spread that far. I remember last year and the worries with our fires. Wasn't a fun summer! Sounds like your Christmas will be bright now that your daughter is going to be home.

Bonnie, I thought that we would enter early, also. Heard that they shoot everyone for the party over to (I believe) Frontierland when they actually close the park. I am willing to give up my free picture for a group picture or as you said we could buy the family one.

Set up Tiffany Towncar yesterday. I love that mode of transportation there. We will never do Mears again. Last cruise we rented a car to go to and from the Port, airport and WDW. That was easy too. We arrive Tues. the 2nd at 1:40 pm. When do you arrive on the 2nd Bonnie? I think that we are the only ones arriving that day. When is Glenn getting there? Are you meeting at the MCO airport? I think that we will probably do Illuminations that night. Maybe stick our nose in and try and catch Candlelight also.

Poor Sue. Must be terribly busy. I think that the last couple of weeks have earned her her cruise!

Barb and Sally, surprised that you didn't check in already. Can you believe 83 today?????? Did you get the high winds last night like we did?

Better go get ready. Having lunch with my mom and brother today. Can't wait.

Good morning Denine. We just cross posted. Glad that you had the opportunity to go out last night and celebrate! Watching the video was a great idea.

So it is Tomorrowland, huh? I bet that there is a massive amount of people inside there! Maybe we need to make a time BEFORE we all get pushed in there.

Sandy: I was just checking out the cruise board. Your 10-23 cruise already has a lively discussion going. You will be cruising with some fun people. Beano and his family and Kamy and her DH, Tim. We have cruised with Beano twice and Kamy once.

Ok Sandy checking in...

Not much going on except the normal laundry and cleaning....yesterday I spent a good couple hours trying to find a bad bulb in a string of l0 pumpkin lights that go in the yard and in a string of 50 blue bulbs on a hunted house....it was crazy, I even have a bulb tester. Dick finally got them working...

Went to Hobby Lobby and picked up a couple halloween decorates that was half off and got a box of glass ornaments that was half off. They are so cute....a sweater and two gloves in red. If Dick doesn't start moving faster I won't even be able to decorate....he is working on the banister.

If it was windy last night I didn't hear it.....

We went out to eat at the Golden Corral last night...first time we have gone out since we got home 2 weeks ago....that is a record for us...we usually eat out a couple times a week.

We are now having 2 major fires just outside of Denver. One to the north and one to the south. We are closest to the one to the south. We can actually see the "colored" smoke not just the gray smoke. It is eery. It is just like last year. Just yesterday, Colorado sent firefighters and equipment to help CA. I sure hope the left some here!!! Looking either direction you can see the pillars of smoke. With the high wind that we are having they are having major difficulties with them.

Lori, I bet that you can see the Daniels Park one pretty good too. I had lunch with my mom today and she lives in Arvada. The wind was honestly so bad there that while eating we could not see ANYTHING outside of the restaurant. Just thick thick dust. Must have been like the dust bowl days.

Sandy-hope you are safe from the fires. My mom has friends with a home in the area of the Calif. fires. They got lucky...they have a lot of ash to clean up but the house is intact. Of course lucky them they had a second one to go to in the desert.

Glenn and I arrive within 20 minutes of each other...around 11AM. I will have to get moving and book Florida Towncar for our trip...that takes some coordinating. Jeanne had to hike to me last year...Glenn will have to this year but he leaves an hour before me so I will do the hoofing on the return. I can't wait!!!

We will be at the CP on the 2nd...late show with dinner before at Marakesh. Glenn keeps saying I can get up with the belly dancer...yeah right!!!

Just a quick check in.

We are not planning to go to the parks the Saturday we return from the cruise but we are driving directly to WDW. If we could meet for lunch somewhere, that would be great. Probably at one of the resorts or Disney Marketplace would be best. Has anyone ever eaten at Fulton's Crabhouse (the big boat)? I think Captain Jacks is still there and the Rainforest cafe. Any of the resort resturants would be fine too. Does the contemporary have a buffet for lunch? We are flexible. You guys just tell us where to meet you.

Later! Gotta get some things done before Survivor comes on and then to bed!

Yummy. Thanks Sally for the recipe. We had it tonight instead of yesterday. It is very flavorful! It is a keeper.

Susan, you are way to tired. Survivor is tomorrow. Now I know what I sounded like last week.

I am not an expert to choose a restaurant at WDW as we normally just eat on the go. Very seldom eat at a decent place. Anyone else? Come to think about it, what time does your plane leave as you will be arriving WDW around 10:00 am, breakfast time.

HI everyone! Just checking in. Been busy with Halloween coming up and Makenzie and her school. SHe has her school Halloween party on Friday. It is cute. They all wear their costumes and sing and tell stories.

I had my doctor's appointment today. I had my 1 hour glucose test come back abnormal so I had to go for a 3 hour test. That one came back normal. Go figure! My doctor said that the first hour reading came back high, but the 2 and 3 hour came back normal. Heart beat is good and strong and now I see him every 3 weeks. He also told me that if the baby doesn't "make an apppearance" by Jan 7th, he will induce me so that the baby will be born then. He said that since I had 2 births that went smooth and problem free, he will let me go on the 7th. SOOOO, that was good news. Let's see when this baby wants to come into the world. Now if only I had names!!!! So far we only have a few girl names and 1 boys name. SOOOOOOO that leads me to believe that it is going to be a boy. SO far the names we have are:
Girls: Kelsey, Stephanie, Delaney, Makayla (thanks Barb:p )
Boys: Dean

For the gift exchange ideas for the Lauters:
ANYTHING DISNEY! We all LOVE disney. Our christmas is mostly disney. Love Tigger, Mickey, Eyeore, Pluto. I like all kinds of music, cook books, actually I like everything. NO true hobby but disney! Garry likes sports, Cleveland Indians and Browns. Makenzie loves Barbies and princesses. The Big Guy likes anything! He is into Bear in the Big Blue house right now. He also likes the Wiggles! Loves music!

We have dinner ressies at Crystal Palace the night of the MVMCP at 5:45pm. We have learned from the past experiences, that if you can get in an eat at one of the restuarants BEFORE the park closes, they give you free roam when you leave (close to the party hour) dinner. We have eating at Liberty Tree two years ago, but we couldn't get in this time. We found out that if you head towards the back of the park (splash mountain) there are NO LINES for the group/family picture. I've got our Mickey Santa hats already to go!:teeth: Unless they have made the change to herd everyone into tommorrowland, that might be a good place to meet. (maybe in front of country bears?) Just a suggestion, we are open for anything.

Susan, I believe that Chef Mickey's does have a lunch buffet. If you want, I can check into that if you want. We are open for whenever and where ever! We like the rainforrest cafe too. We usually go to the one at the Animal Kingdom. But like I said, we are up for everything.

Also, for everyone who will be going in Dec, you will all get to meet Anna Marie! We arrive late Nov. 30th and are flying her in on the 4th and she will stay with us until the 9th. We will all be flying home together, but on the way down she will be flying in by herself. Her mother shocked us when we asked if Anna Marie could go for at least part of the time and she said yes. Anna Marie's ticket wasn't that expensive, but since she is flying down by herself, we have to pay an additional $40 for her to be escorted from her mother to us. But, at least she will be at the MVMCP will all of us. Everyone tells us that if they didn't know she was my step daughter, they would think she was mine. What do you think Denine? She looks the other two. All blue eyes! She use to have real blonde hair, but it has gotten darker the past few years. Now it is brown.
She will be great help to us since I will be a waddling house by then! LOL!

Well, gonna go. Gotta get some sleep. Will check back in later. Bye!

Duhhhh! Yes, yesterday was Wednesday and tonight is Survivor!! Calgon..Take Me Away!!!

The Schrolls love Disney and hockey. But you guys couldn't guess that!

Gotta run...Later!

Good morning guys!

It is drizzly out. Yea, good news for the fires that is for sure. One of the fires is actually have some snow showers as we speak. Thanks Bonnie, we are safe and should continue to be. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to drive to where I shop once a month and one of the fires is just outside of that area. Thinking about your moms friends makes me wonder how the fires can burn around the structures and not actually burn one. Thank goodness it does!

Bad night last night. Heidi was on her way to night class and she got a flat tire so we jumped in our car, picked her up and drove her to class with the thought that we would change her tire and drive her car to school for her to drive home. Well, we just got to her car when the cell phone rang and she was already out of class so we drove back to get her, then to her car to change the tire and then home. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to do all that. That teacher NEVER stays the entire time. It starts at 5:30 and she was out at 6:15, not the 9:30 as it is suppose to be. We got in the middle of rush hour. What a mess.

Someone on our next cruise has the Walt Disney Suite and has invited the disers in for a party. I wasn't real sure that I wanted to get involved with a different set of people but now I might have to reconsider.

Julie, it sounds like you had a very good report on the baby and the diabetes. Good for you! I am sure that makes you feel better about the trip! That will be nice to meet Anna Marie.

Susan woke up long enough to smell the roses. I am willing to eat anywhere. We have eaten the breakfast buffet at Chef Mickeys, never the lunch buffet.

good morning.....today is movie day with my grandaughter....woo woo... popcorn. I think that is one of the reasons we like to go.
Since we go early I think today I will take my camera as not many people are there. I have some really cute popcorn and movie stickers. I told you I am always on the lookout for pictures for an album.....

It was 68 when I went to bed around l0:30 last night...It was a beautiful day...don't know when it is going to change...they keep saying it is but so far they have been wrong. What a surprise that the weatherman is wrong....lol

Julie, Jan 7th is a good day for a birthday...it has been mine for over 70 years....How in the world are you going to do all that walking at Disneyworld.....play it smart and let Gary push you around....I think one of my favorite boy's name is Michael and I have a Rick. My sister has the Michael....

It sounds like all the families like Disney gifts... now that is a surprise....heehee

Sandy who is that staying in the Walt Disney suite? Is it someone from the other BB that I am on or is it another BB?

Good Morning!

I got so busy yesterday I forgot to post!!

Made reservations this morning for the Candlelight Processional.
We are eating at Coral Sea. Yippeeee!! I think I must have gotten the last available table with a rep that didn't know what she was doing! It took 45 minutes to get my reservation. I am going to call later to confirm them. Now the only reservation I have left is Cirque Du Soleil.

For the gift exchange. I love Disney stuff.. I will try to think
of more later:rolleyes:

Barb:smooth:

Nothing going on today. I put together the photo album from vacation last night. There are still some pictures in the camera to be developed, so those will go in at a later time.

Sandy: Hope the fires stay away from you. Who has the Walt Disney suite? I'll have to go over and find out! I keep forgetting to tell you that we cruised with your old TA, Cathy, last year, very nice person.

I weighed myself this morning, I gained 4 pounds  Part of the problem, is we haven't been able to go for a walk since we got home, the weather has been so lousy. We are hoping to go today.

Sally: Enjoy your movie!

I already can't wait for this next trip. It will be fun with all of you guys.

Julie: Glad Anna Marie will be able to join you! And yes, she fits in with you with no problem.

Barb, did you get my email this morning....I got yours really late last night and I sent you one right away so it might make it by this morning

Denine I still am trying to lose from our cruise....why is it weight goes on so fast and takes forever to come off..I guess our bodies are just so selfish that what it gets it wants to keep....

Sandy, yes, the Daniel's Park fire was not too far. Two of our friends from school had to evacuate last night. I love to ride my motorcycle thru that park, nice dirt roads, huge view to one side, expensive houses and a golf course on the other. This mornings moisture sure helped clear the air and hold down the spread of fire.
Wow, a party in the Walt suite. I'd go.
Let's all sing our Brownie song now... ahaheemmm... "Make new friends, but keee-eep the old. One is silver and the other's gold".
Thank you, thank you very much.

Another day... another long list of things to do.
Good to hear from you all.
