Good morning everyone. A beautiful morning it is. I love mornings.

Bonnie, all it takes is one margarita for me too and I will become numb lips with you. I don't think the world can take the two of us together. Tee hee. :D ;) Drinking with a supervisor. Shame. Now she knows the REAL you. ;) That is cool that Ryan and Olivia came to visit. I can just picture you with the two of them. So cute.

Heidi heard from Bryan's sister and it sounds like his new flame is the daughter of the lady that is a big wig at the college that I said was controlling him. I really would love to know if she is a NEW flame or the one that broke up the relationship. He sent me a letter stating that he felt that I blamed HIM and that it was Heidi's fault but he wouldn't go into it because he respects Heidi. Wow, I didn't know that he could pull the wool over my eyes. I trusted him so much. I told him I felt it was both of them but I blamed him for fleeing the relationship. What I would do to get back that letter!!!!!!! I can't believe that I am so naive and STUPID. I am toooooooo trusting of anyone and everyone.

Have a wonderful day Susan, Bonnie and the rest of you. Maybe will check in later.

Looks like another slow posting day.

Still trying to get everything right on the new computer. The answering machine won't work right and all of my Favorites are goofy. I have to put the addresses in the address book myself. We can't just copy them over. At least I don't have too many. We had over an inch of rain yesterday with more expected today. It is only supposed to be 75 today and 71 tomorrow. I want summer back! I wish we could send you guys in Colorado some rain.

Bonnie: Saounds like you had a nice evening. I can't wait to see a picture of the gown.

Sandy: Kaleigh is just so cute crawling. Jerry got some video. She is so excited by everything. She is also wearing herself out. The only problem is, with 2 cats, she always has fur all over her hands. I just finished vacuuming, put her on the floor and she had fur all over her hands. You can never get rid of it all.

Sue: I think it is interesting that everyone would rather work for a man. How many of us actually do? All of my bosses are women.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!!

Looks like another hot one here.

Going to watch Amanda at Cheer practice tonight then to the driving range.

I have still got to get our spare bedroom ready for our intern and get Jaymee's college stuff ready and scrap book and and and...
Life is good!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

Barb:smooth:

Bonnie, I don't know what to think....I can not find any signs of flees on the dogs or anywhere yet I continue to get these spots all over me like bites or maybe a rash. If it hadn't been over two weeks since I was on the medication for the infection I would think I was allergic to the medicine. I just know I itch like crazy!

I did paint half the fence yesterday and cleaned the kitchen and today I am really tired....looks like a do nothing day.

It is nice out right now but will probably get really hot this afternoon. I talked to Dick yesterday and his sister seems a little better...when he left they didn't expect her to live much longer.

I bought a large pot yesterday and am going to make a fountain out of it for the front yard. If I can get everything done I planned on doing before Dick gets home he will think he is at the wrong house.

Have a great day!!!!!

Hi guys, just got a response from an email that I had written to Diana. She is busy as always. Her dad is doing fine. Has two more chemos left. They are going on a cruise in Nov without the kids so she is looking forward to that. I believe she is looking at cruising October 2, 2004 because they are going to Antigua instead of St. Maarten. She said to tell everyone "hi".

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Would love to take some 70 degree days off your hand, Denine. I am tired of 90's and 100's.

Sally, maybe you should have the bites/rash looked at by a doctor. Just a thought. You need to slow down in this heat!!!!

Barb, an intern??? Did I miss something?

Sally - I agree with Sandy, see a doctor about the rash AND take it easy!

Yeah, what intern?

Glad to hear Diana is doing good. Wish she would post every now and then.

Denine - I've worked for men and women and men are much easier to work for.

Bonnie - Christening gown - no alcohol! Hope you finish tonight!

Where's Lori, Laurie, Krista and Julie?????

Wish I was with Jeanne on the coast!

Later!

no posting in the evening until the Christening gown is complete. I finally figured out the neck and back facing. I got an email from Simplicity...they basically wrote back and typed out the same directions that were with the pattern. Of course they really did leave out the last step of what to do when it was sewn on and that is what confused me!!They also told me that the neck piece should fit...I cut another with a little mor material and then it worked! Now I am fighting with the sleeves!!! Once those are done it should be clear sailing! I hope.

Mom...go to the doctor and let him check out your rash. Especially if there aren't fleas.

Off to get ready for work.

Have a good day all.

Pretty sure it is a rash now by the looks of it....is it possible to have a reaction to the medicine a couple weeks after taking it? I was going to wait until Dick gets back to go to the doctor....I think I have a cold....nose is running and I am losing my voice....but I feel better today so far.....

Good Morning!!

Susan-Our church has a training program for missionaries ages 18 to 25. They come from all over the world. While they are in the program for 9 months they stay in homes. We had one a few years ago from Brazil. She was so sweet. We really enjoyed her. With Jaymee leaving for school in Texas ithis September Tiffany will be the only one at home. We have 4 bedrooms on the upper level of our home so even though we have strict orders that Jaymee's room is to remain the same we will still have one extra. We have had numerous kids in the house for the past 22 years so having just one would be to much of a change.

We are having a beach party at work today. It is hard to pretend I am on the beach when I am sitting under florescent lights with no window in sight.

Barb:smooth:

Not much to report today. I really need summer to come back. I am feeling all closed in.

Still trying to get the answering machine to work. Now I have to get rid of these annoying popups that I didn't have before. I've got the Mickey cursor up and running. The cursor is Mickey's gloved hand. There are other Mickey items for other functions, like the hour glass.

I didn't lose any weight this week. I am not surprised. I have been eating too much ice cream. Jerry's jury duty is stressing me out.

Glad to hear diana is fine and that her dad is doing all right.

Barb: Sounds like you have fun with your interns. I don't have any room for anything like that.

Sally: You need to slow down. See the doctor about the rash. Meanwhile, some cortisone cream ought to help with the itching.

Bonnie: Good luck with those sleeves!

Good morning everyone. Busy day ahead. Starts with fighting the people at the emissions testing office. They want a copy of our repair bill. Next is pleasant. Bought my niece a ruby ring for her birthday that needed sizing and it is done so I can go pick that up and then grocery shopping. A shower needs to be worked in along with cooking for dinner.

Lori, just wanted to say off the email (to cover my butt) that the owners of LOTR are very difficult to work with so I wish your sister luck. They are worse to work for. Please, keep that between you and me. Unfortunately, I can't pick in laws for the girls.

Wow it is nice to "hear" you all again.
I just really haven't had the time to make any quality posts lately. I know, I know, I should have at least checked in.

Thanks for the e-mails, they brighten my day.

Have lost somewhere in the range of 11-13 pounds. Go to the dr. tomorrow to see for sure.

Clare's last day of "3-year-old" school is tomorrow, then off to big pre-k on August 11. We sure will miss her teachers from this year.

Catch me up... What is happening with everyone. Maybe when school starts again we can ALL get back into the hang of posting. I don't even look at the cruise thread anymore, do you all??

Did someone say Antigua??? Hmmmm... very interesting.

Krista

I could not wait to get home and post today. I lost another 2 pounds for a total of 15 so far. I am soooooo excited! I need to lose 2.2 more to reach my WW goal but then I really want to lose 3 more after that for a cushion.

Enough about me. Krista checked in and she has lost weight too!! Hooray!!

Sandy, stay on that emissions thing!!

Barb - better leave Jaymee's room alone or sounds ike you'll be in deep trouble!!lol Thanks for th eintern explanation. You are such a wonderful family!

Sally - how's the rash, sore throat and voice? I'm thinking about you.

Bonnie - you need to finish that gown. I need to see more posting from you.

JULIE!!!! WHERE ARE YOU????

LORI!!!! WHERE ARE YOU????

If the thunderstorms hold off I am going to try to do water aerobics this eveing. Not looking good though!

Later!

Hi guys, what a miserable day it was. But it probably worked out to be a good one in the end. Ended up doing emission running. The state checked it inside and out and gave us a report for the emission people that it is in fact a heavy duty truck. Took the report and everything else back to the lady for the SECOND time today and the state beat us to it. Sounds like we will be paid for the repairs. She was very apologetic.
Cross your fingers.

How wonderful to hear from Krista. I am sure that once summer is over the posting will get better. Yes, Krista, I said Antigua. That is what Dianna said. We will still go on the Western on the 23rd of Oct 2004. Can't give up that secret porthole room. No, I NEVER read the board anymore. Probably will when it gets closer to our cruise.

Way to go Susan. I can't believe how good you did and such a short period of time. I started the whole thing and didn't do a darn thing. I should be ashamed and quite honestly
I am.

Take a break from the sleeve fight!!!! Whoever thought of putting 2 decorative tucks in an infant size short sleeve should be shot!!! One sleeve I will have to cut out again since it turned out all crooked....I should be an expert on infant tucked sleeves in the end.

Krista great to hear from you!!!! Don't be such a stranger!

Sandy-Great news on the truck and the $$ Good for them! Good for you...of course they should give you interest also! what would that amount to these days though...4 cents?

Mom-go to the doctor!!

Sue-great weight loss!!!! I am envious.

Barb-I'll bet you have another body in the house soon!

I agree...JULIE!!!! LORI!!!!

Denine-you can have our weather...hot and muggy! YUK! Is the answering machine in the computer?

Hang in there Bonnie. I know that you can do it. AND IT WILL TURN OUT BEAUTIFUL. The interest if I am lucky would be 4 cents.

Julie, Big Brother is on tonight. Will be thinking of you. No real favorites yet. Like Nathan, Michelle, Erica (will be gone tonight) and I thought Gee (Jee, whatever) but now I am not so sure.

Goodnight all.

Hi All! Sorry I have been MIA lately but for the past two days I have had a migraine and I have been trying to beat it! I can't take anything for it, so I have been a hurting unit for the past 2 days. Tonight it has finally gotten better (knock on wood!) It was so bad yesterday I got sick and I had my mother come over to give the kids a bath and put them to bed. Garry has been working his tail off and doesn't have a day off until Saturday and he is gonna crash!!!!!!!!!

Sandy, I've been watching Big Brother every night i thas been on. My favorites are Nathan, Jack and Erica. I do not like Dana and Allison seems flakey! I can't believe that Michelle was voted out. I was thinking that it could happen, but the vote surprised me. I know that Jason and Robert were the only two who voted for Erica. I think that Dana will put up Nathan and I'm not sure who else. We shall see!!!!!!!

Glad to hear from Diana and Krista! It does seem that we all have been slacking this summer on the board. I'm sure we will all get back into the swing of things when fall comes.

Sally, how's the rash? I hope it is getting better.

Barb, now we know we all have a place to stay when we all come out that way!:p

Bonnie, so is the dress finished? I know it will be soon and be beautiful! Take a picture of it when you get it done because I want to see it before I place my order! LOL

I lost 1 lb. when I went in to my doctor's visit. He said that was ok. It's not 11, 15, or even 20 lbs, but it is a start.

Denine, what is up with all this WATER!!!!!!!! This has been a horrible summer! You know why that is, because I got our pool up and running this year, so we have cool rainy weather! Last year when Garry was hurt with his knee I never got the pool open and how was the weather last year? See! It is what you call Lauter luck! Hopefully it will get better before all of summer is gone. We will have to make plans soon to get together so I can see that lil peanut crawling! OR we could do adults only if you wanted. But I have to see Kaleigh soon to give her her picture frame before she is 20yrs old! LOL!

Well, gonna go! I'll check back in later!

Have a Great Thursday!

I've been watching Big Brother too. I was surprised by the vote count last night too. Michelle is so naive, though. She has a lot a life ahead of her to help open her eyes. The looks on the others' faces after the eviction was great. I think a lot of them are in shock. I didn't like Dana getting HoH but, oh well.

Julie - I can sympathize with the migraines. I don't get them often but when I do, watch out - the world comes to a screeching halt for me. Hope you are completely over it soon.

Paul and I will be leaving for Roanoke tomorrow midday. Looking forward to a nice weekend for just the two of us. We need it! When we come nack Sunday we are going to a "reunion" or sorts with the old crew I used to work with 10-15 years ago. We had so much fun back then. Work has never been the same!! We worked for a guy named Bob and we are calling this the Bob Squad reunion. None of us have the same jobs anymore and many of us don't even work for the same cmpany or live in the same area. It should really be fun seeing everyon again.

Gotta run. Have a great day! Later!

Good morning everyone. Wow, what a surprise on BB last night. I knew it could happen but didn't see that one coming at all. I think it definitely will help Michelle in the long run. I see a lot of me in her. Too bad that Dana won't put up herself! Or at least Allison and Jun.

Another hot one on the way. We are to hit 100. They are saying that it is the 3rd driest in history. Don't need to hit the history books this way!!!! As always, sure wish we could share the weather with each other and all of us would be happy. My lawn certainly would!!!!! Barb and Sally, are you still on water restrictions? Highlands Ranch is on volunteer basis but imposed a surcharge for going over a certain amount. This one lady on the news last bill was 434.00. Can you believe that????? They said about 20 citizens paid over 500.00. OUCH!!!

Have fun Susan. You certainly deserve to get away!

Christmas in July weekend for me. Might not check in after today until Monday. If I can't anymore today, have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning everyone. An actual sunny day here. We have had so much rain. At least we don't live a little southeast of here, they have had several inches of rain in the last couple of days and are dealing with a lot of flooding.

Sue: Congrats on the weight loss! Enjoy your weekend away!

Bonnie: Sewing sounds like torture to me. Yes, the answering machine is in the computer. We may have gotten it working, but we don't know how. Jerry just keeps playing with it. The one on our old computer was actually more sophistcated and it is several years old, but it was made by ATT.

Julie: Glad you are feeling better. At least I know why we have had such a yucky summer, except for 1 week. How does the first weekend in August look? I don't have anyone to babysit right now. My mom's wrist still isn't 100%, so she is afraid she will drop Kaleigh. Don't even think about Jerry's parents. They always make her cry.

Krista: Glad to hear from you. Congrats on the weight loss! I look at the cruise board maybe once every couple of weeks. I wish we could go on the 10 day DCL cruise in December 2004, but it is very expensive. $9000 for a family of four in a cat 6. I don't know about the other prices.

Sandy: I sure hope you get your repairs paid for.

Today is the last day of jury duty for the week! Yeah! I am tired of doing everything myself around here. I am so tired. The weather isn't helping. Plus, I need to get back to my diet so I can lose those 10 pounds. I need another vacation!

Has anyone been to Mickey's Halloween party? Should we take Kaleigh?
