Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Almost done with the laundry. Man oh man I had no idea that sand could hang on so well. We did the Great Sand Dunes for the last two days of the trip and Katie is still getting it out of her hair and ears, after four showers! There are huge, steep mountains of sand there, (4 miles worth) and the kids sled, snowboard and roll down them. Sand, sand, sand.

Hey Barb! If your Mom has a BBQ, I'll bring a side dish. Can we come too! The trick is finding a weekend day that's not already overflowing.
I think I'll try and sneak in some mini trips with the kids. We'll just have to abandon Ben, which he probably wont mind... and hit the road on some Mon-Wed. night gigs. I thought summer was supposed to be relaxing !!!! Between Katie's Volleyball on Tue and Thurs', a Craft club on Weds and Cody's baseball Thurs, Fri and Sat, we only have Monday free. Ahhhh. Time for another vacation!
Hope you all are finding some time for relaxation. At least HOMEWORK is eased up. I put a deposit down on a math and reading book for Katie to use this summer. We'll see if they see the light of day. LOL

Wow! Where is everyone? I go to check the boards to see who wrote after Lori and NO ONE did! Boy are things real slow around here! I haven't been feeling good today so that is why I haven't posted today. I think that I got what Makenzie and the Big Guy got. I sure hope I feel better tomorrow. All I wanted to do today was to curl up into a ball and sleep.

Bonnie, I was looking for you around 6:45pm tonight to chat and you weren't on. I will try again later. Oh, and by the way, I can't control Garry, only contain him. SO you are on your own. LOL!

Well, I'm working on my scheduled night off right now. It's overtime, so they finally are paying me something close to what I am worth!

Maybe the whole group that's going down to WDW in December should try and get together for a dinner somewhere at Disney? Germany or Japan at Epcot would probably be fun! Just an idea...

Hi, guys. I had too much to do when I got home from work yesterday and never got to the computer.

I can't stay long now because I have to go in to work earlier today. Even Paul is getting frustrated with my work schedule. He calls and leaves me messages that I don't have time to check until I'm leaving for the day. I'm grabbing lunch and taking it back to the conference room to continue working. He's right, I have got to take some time for me. Today, I am planning to take a long lunch and meet Turner's class for a picnic in the park. When I get back to work, I have a 4 hour workshop to facilitate, though.

I hope the WDW trip works out for a lot of you and that we can see you after the cruise. Would love that!

I don't think I ever told you guys about my Dad's camera pill endoscopy last week. We were supposed to be there at 6:00am. Well, we were, only to find out that they couldn't do it because had been taking iron. After asking multiple times if taking his meds was OK and being told yes if 2 hours before the procedure started! In reality, he is supposed to be off the iron for 5 days prior. So we have it rescheduled now for the 12th. I would love to ring someone's neck for that!

We had more rain here yesterday but it is supposed to be clear and 82 today. I can hear the birds out singing this morning. We should have a nice picnic lunch.

Another cold, yucky day. When is summer coming????????

Nothing much going on here. Jerry has to have some fillings replaced and a wisdom tooth pulled. I get to find out tomorrow what fun is in store for me.

We need to decide when we are doing Mickey's Christmas party.
Canada or Germany sounds good. I like Canada better. Never been to the Japanese restaurant, except the fast food one.

I weighed myself this morning and gained 2 pounds from vacation. I guess that's not too bad. Now, if the weather can get nice, we can go for our walks again

It's me! Finally! All day long (well after Garry woke up) Makenzie has been on the computer playing HER computer games! She is a computer game junkie already! She has Tinkerbell and Winnie the Pooh that she plays ALL THE TIME NOW! She cracks me up. She will go and get her CD and put it into the computer and start it up. Today she even fingured out on her own how to print a page off of her game! HOW DO THEY KNOW HOW TO DO THIS! She is 4 and knows more about computers then I do, I think! LOL! She has her 4 year old check up today so we will see how tall she has gotten.

Gonna start the exercise thing again. We just got a new treadmill today so now I have NO excuses!

Sorry to hear you had a bad day at work Bonnie! Hopefully today will be better!

Sandy, Lori, Laurie and Mom out there last night and nobody had anything to say to the Oct. 19 cruisers!! I am feeling neglected.

Today will be better at work .... I am determined. I know how our members feel when they get transferred from person to person. I asked for one simple thing yesterday morning and by the time I got passed to the 3rd person I lost it! The left hand does not know what the right hand does. Then I spent the day looking in the computer to see just how much work my one nurse is not doing! I have a breakfast to go to this morning and then on to a 'Meeting Management" class.

Jeanne, the cheapest airfare I saw right now is 188 for December. There is a 166 out there but it ends in November. We'll manage it somehow.

I hope all the posters have a good day today...the rest? you are on your own.

Good morning everyone. Too busy to post yesterday. TooK Mom out yesterday for Mother's Day. Stacey and Heidi got to go, too. A wonderful day. Mom really enjoyed it.

What drugs are you on, Bonnie????? I wasn't on the computer. At night I was shopping with my friend and sat down for the first time for the whole day at 9 pm (11 pm your time) to watch 48 Hours. It was about a brothel in New Orleans. Sorry, it wasn't me that was on and didn't check in.

More talk of reunion. Sure wish I could be there. If I were you, I would meet in Japan. Much more yummy food than Germany. However, Germany has much better atmosphere.

Lori, welcome home. Sounds like you had a pretty good time. I know about all that sand. You will keep finding it all summer long. How was the RV?

Slow down, Susan. Take a deep breath. Now don't forget those Calgon baths.

Just a quick Hi! Bonnie, sorry but I wasn't on last night either.....Linda and I went to Curves at l and then to lunch. Shopped a little and back home in time to get things together and off to a scrapbook class at 6 and didn't get home until 9:30....then we scrapbooked and I talked to my grandson in Austraila until after l in the morning.
My grandaughter was on the computer and my email is left on sometimes for hours.

I lost another pound and a half when I was weighed in at Curves.....so it makes a total of 8 l/2 for May. Have been able to eat out ok....salads, meats and veggies.

I got all my flower beds done and the house cleaned before Linda got here on Monday so now I am just playing. Just found out last night I am having a full house for the 4th of July....will be any where from 25 to 38 here.....and hopefully only 4 dogs...lol.

We will be celebrating my grandson's birthday on the 4th and his daughter's early birthday.

It is raining today and it did off and on all day yesterday....pray it doesn't decide to do that on the 4th.

Well off to Curves and another play day.....hugs to everyone, especially Bonnie....not ignoring you but just busy!

Good Thursday Morning everyone!!

It is gray and rainy here. It is such a blessing to have the rain last year was terrible no rain, water restrictions. It has been raining off and on for the past week.

One of Patty's cats died yesterday. The one she found in a tree last year in her back yard. He has been living with them happily ever since. She was really crazy about him and is pretty upset.

Jaymee starts work tomorrow. YEAH insurance money!!!! She has been cleaning and organizing her room. It is kind of sad to see her getting rid of stuff and packing getting ready for college.

Tiffany is planning an Hawiian luau and sleep over at the end of July for the cheer leaders. Guess I will have to get the back yard ready.

Mickey's Christmas December 4th. Any takers?

Another cold, dreary day here. It is supposed to get better tomorrow and Sunday. I am hoping for a nice day on Sunday for Kaleigh's party. The kids can play outside. Hopefully Jerry can get the grass cut tomorrow.

Did I mention that Jerry has jury duty starting Monday. It is for US District Court intstead of Common Pleas. We will find out what it entails.

I am a bit under the weather today. I started with a sore throat yesterday and still have that, plus I am a little stuffy.

Wow, Sally. Lots of people for the 4th!!!! We will be in Monument. How about 3 more? Just kidding. We have our traditional 4th planned at the campground.

Poor Patty, it is so hard to lose a pet. I can understand her sadness.

Denine, get better. Jury duty? I was dismissed by the judge last time not by the atty's. He knew of my legal background and all of the cops in my family so he didn't even have me challenged. Quite honestly, it made me happy. It was for a racketeering case. The guy was really scary.

I remembered the saying for Stacey's favors. It is "A spoonful of kisses from the Mr. and Mrs". I think that they will turn out pretty cute.

Hey Barb or Sally, is Monument expecting snow on Saturday? I know that your news covers such a big area. We bailed out because of the cold and heard that there might be SNOW!

Better check on the kids. It is mighty quiet out in the living room. OH OH

What a day today...almost stayed an extra few hours to get caught up but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe one night next week. I have the one associate that was "given" to me with an attitude. I got the "we have to meet" line from her. She is not happy...I would love to say "not happy? Leave! Please!! Do us all a favor!"

Can you tell I have had it with her???? Worthless! It won't take long for the others to tire of her.

Denine! I can't make plans for MVMC yet! Too early!

Just think...it will be a whole year since Glenn and I met in December! Who'd-a-thunk it! Would I do it over again? DEFINITELY!!!! YOU BET!! IN A HEARTBEAT!!! I struck gold!
