Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

I'm here. I just got home for the day. Paul and Turner met me in the city and we spent the evening out. I didn't get on this morning because I had to leave early to go pick up the cupcakes for Turner's class before dropping him off at school. I have only been home 5 minutes and I knew my responsibility...so, here I am posting as promised. Tomorrow you will see more posts from me. Sunday wil be skipped because we have decided to travel to Atlanta for a Braves-Mets game. We'll have to leave around 6:00am and won't be home until around 11:00pm. Julie/Garry - you guys are in charge of Sunday!

Bonnie - if you are still around, I won't let you down!! Have a good trip.

Hi Laurie! I'm glad to see that you will be here with us this weekend too! Bonnie leaves the first thing in the morning! Her mind is already there, but her body leaves in the morning!


I will have to say charcoal! Gas is easier, but I agree with Bonnie with the taste issure! Food does seem to taste better on charcoal.

Since we are a select few to be left on the boards this weekend we will have to come up with something for us to do! Got any good ideas? Just to let those "travelers" we still had fun even if we didn't go anywhere! Don't worry, our time is coming!

Susan, if you guys are going to Atlanta on Sunday, will you miss Denine and Jerry again? I'm not sure what day they were coming home on.

Oh well, enough from me until sometime tomorrow!

Hey, where has Jeanne been? Is she working this weekend or does she have big plans too? I know I have read all the posts, but I don't seem to remember what she had planned this weekend. Was it a grad party too? Oh well, I hope everything is going well with Dudette #2 and #3!

Laurie-I know my counter says I already left but it is off for some reason. I am hear though. I will leave for the airport in an hour. I have headache though...I hope it goes away by the time I leave...nothing worse than 30,000 feet with a headache!

Per my calendar the dudettes do not work this weekend so I guess Jeanne is just too busy for her buddies! LOL!

Good morning!

Charcoal does make the food taste better but without gas, I'd be stuck in the kitchen more than I'd like. I use the gas grill all year, once or twice in the winter and almost daily in the spring summer and fall.

Julie, I'm not sure if Denine and Jerry will be coming through here on Sunday or Monday. If it is Sunday, I'll miss them again. If it is Monday, we'll be here. I hate missing them. I really want to see Kaleigh. Say a little prayer for me that it will be Monday!

That's it for me for now. Gotta save some of my chattiness for multiple posts today!!LOL

The sun didn't last. We have a few very light sprinkles now. Of course, since I am grilling. We went to mass and picked up a friend of Turner's. I am grilling ribs and steaks. We leave for Atlant at 6:00am. The boys are excited. I'll try to post quickly before we leave (try!!!). Then, I'll post again when we get home, around 11:00pm. Julie, Garry and Laurie - it's up to you for Sunday!

Well, it looks like I'm alone here. I wonder where Laurie is? I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Garry works the rest of the weekend. He goes in Sunday at 10:45pm then has to stay for the city's parade, then MAY get to come home around 12:30 pm Monday. Thank heaven's he has monday night off to regroup after his "wonderful holiday weekend".
