Hi guys, nothing new here. Sore feet, sore back and lots of work to get done before May 17th.

I wish I was with Krista. Rest and relaxation. Bushwackers at Paradise Point and a "roll" at Megan's Bay. What could be better?

Lori, Ben should have a blast. Heard that is fun to go to. And free at that! I foresee a sunburn, that is if the sun would stay out. Except for Las Vegas, I don't think that I have ever burned so bad as I did at Boulder Reservoir years ago.

Julie, what??? You aren't a Vern or a Frank? I think Vern is my favorite of all of them. I certainly am not one of them as all my walls are WHITE! No wallpaper, no nothing. Simplicity. That's it. My style is simple and boring.

Bonnie, we miss you too. Hurry and get home.

Ted is working and once again I am on the computer. Better go before I get caught.

Ok, where is everyone??????? Susan is at the beach, Krista is sunning on St. Thomas, Bonnie is finishing her trip to SF, Jeanne is craft fairing at Ocean City.................... where is the rest of us??????

Sandy I hope you feel better. Being sore isn't fun at all! I'm sore all the time!!! By the way, did you watch American Idol? I can't believe Josh did get into the bottom two or get the boot last week. Clay is still my favorite, but after the "close call" with Rueben, I have a feeling that he will be running away with the votes the rest of the way. I drive Garry nuts with this show! This one and Big Brother are really the only reality shows I really like to watch.

Everyone else who is out there....... HI and glad to see you checking in. Laurie, I think that the mounties are on their way!

Hi all!!!! Homeward bound in just a 1/2 hour...to the airport anyway.
Had a wonderful time in SF. Beautiful city! Had a terrific visit with all the relatives...well the females anyway.

Will check in tomorrow...I have a lot of catching up to do.

Miss ya....Love ya!!!!!

I will send the mountie Julie if nobody checks in! After all if I can check in from SF everyone else can check in!!!

I'm checking in! I'm checking in!

Boy did Ben come home with some stories last night. The Vamp didn't sell as well as was hoped for, but the free tattoos they would put on people while giving the infomercial were a hit. Women wanted them to be put on quite a variety of body parts and that sweet husband of mine, always willing to please...

Ben is so such a wonderful person. Always willing to oblige the women. Too funny!

Julie, I missed the very last American Idol. Was painting. I heard that Rueben was put up with Tryniece (spelling) and who else? Was it Josh?? I love Josh but I don't feel that he has been doing his best lately. Josh is perfect for Country Music only. Rueben is excellent but I still like Clay. He is kind of like a young Frank Sinatra. He sings to the ladies. I will be happy with any of the guys to be honest. Big Brother is probably my favorite. I swore on the first one that I wouldn't watch a show "like that" but thought I would just watch one to see what it was about. Well, it grabbed me. I also like Amazing Race a lot and The Mole. I watch Survivor but it isn't a favorite anymore. Ok, so I am a reality show junkie. I need a 12 step program for the disboard and reality shows. Oh my gosh, I am a wreck.

Bonnie, we all missed you and look forward to your posts. Glad that you checked in periodically.

I vote to send out the mountie for Laurie. Miss you!

Sally, tomorrow is d-day. I visit Curves. Decided to first check out the one I have an appt with as the two ladies I have talked to on the phone were so wonderful and nicel

Just checking in. Once again Ted is working and I am slacking. At least I have the washing machine going! Only 3 more loads to go.

First of all, Turner has no cast. The final diagnosis was a sprain or bone contusion. He is healed and has no more restrictions.

Had a fabulous time! Got a little too much sun but you gotta start somewhere. The water was not as cold as I thought it would be so we actually spent a little time in the ocean and a LOT of time in the pools. Turner and I built sand castles, played ball on the beach, combed the beach for shells, and walked quite a bit. We played some miniature golf and a par 3 course. On the way back, we stopped and picked two buckets of strawberries at a farm in South Carolina. I am amazed at how much we packed into Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. Hate to be back!

Missed you all!! I have a lot of reading to catch up on (and LOTS OF LAUNDRY too). Hope everyone is OK.

Later!

We all have a good time at the Craft Fair & thank God it didn't rain but it was a little chilly. We went to Cape May, the boardwalk, soaked in the hot tub & drank Coronas. Does life get any better?????;) After this weekend of eating & drinking I'm going to look up "Curves".

Sounds like everyone is hanging in there and soon Bonnie will be back with her tales.

Hope you all have a great week. I have lots of wash, grocery shopping, etc. to do. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

:jester: HAPPY BELATED ANNIVERSARY LORI & BEN !!! :jester:

Hello to everyone! Things are fine at this end. Lots of work in preparation for the end of the school year. Kristen had soccer games all weekend, and we were trying to dodge raindrops and get some yardwork done before another 3 days of rain!! But it is so dry here and we need the rain so I won't complain! :p

Bonnie -- I hope that you had a great time this weekend. I can't wait for the update.

Sandy -- Let me know how it goes at Curves. They just opened one here a couple of months ago, and I don't know anyone who has tried it.

Have a good night everyone.

Welcome back Susan and Jeanne. It really sounds like both of you had a fantastic time.

Hi Laurie, been missing you. Happy to see you pop up again. I certainly will let you know about Curves. My niece is a member also and loves it like Sally. Gosh, you can't beat the price!!

Just wanted to check one more time here before I shut off the computer. Happy to see everyone checking in after all their trips. Just a little jealous that I didn't get to take one too.

Bonnie had a layover tonight here in Charlotte and called me from the airport. She left NJ a mere Mom and will arrive back a GRANDMA!! Here daughter-in-law is having the baby tonight and she was told it should be within the hour. Bonnie is going directly to the hospital when she arrives in NJ. She will post tomorrow with all the details. Can't wait to hear more from Grandma Dudette!!

EEK!!!! Just call me Me Me (pronounced May May)

Princess Olivia was born May 5th. 7# 13.2 Oz. No legnth available. I got to hold her, and kiss her. She is beautiful!!!!!!!! So petite!!!!Ryan is beaming!!!!! She will be spoiled rotten!!!!

Lots to tell but not now. It is too late!!!!!

Bonnie, you are going to love being a grandmother! Have you ever heard the saying God gives us children to love and grandchildren to love us back! I have l4 grandchildren (we lost our Carrie a couple years ago at l5) and they are all different and wonderful.....and make you feel so special! Another saying is if I had known how wonderful grandchildren are I would have had them first. You can spoil them and send them home.

Ok...read through all the posts....no much out there!!! I only had 6 pages to go through in one week.

Up for a few minutes then back to bed.

Had a terrific time in SF. Great visit with my aunt and cousins. I love them dearly.

The best time was the last day there. We went to a Sea Shanty Music Festival at the marine park down at fisherman's whraf. Then went back in the evening for a "Sea Shanty Sing a long" 8PM to 12 mn in the hull of one of the old ships at dock. What a terrific place to hold such a gathering. I was tired and left around 8:45...packing to do, bathroom etc. Left Glenn there with specific instructions as to when to leave! LOL! He did pretty good for Glenn! Only stayed a little longer than instructed. He says he is hen pecked! He does take it well though. Then tried to get me giddy with Champagne...it didn't work!! Can you believe that? I only amourous and sleep...fell asleep! Oh well. Will have to try to get me giddy another time! LOL!

San Fransisco is a beautiful town. I met one of the Democratic presidential hopefuls, had my picture taken with him and interviewed for the news!! My 5 seconds of fame! LOL! MY cousin taped it! It will be added to the family makes TV tape! LOL!
Oh...the candidates name is Howard Dean...if anyone has heard of him.

Don't want to write a book right now...back to bed for me then over to PA to see my Granddaughter again...what a beauty!!!!!! She is definately a princess!!!! Glenn says he loses me whenever I see a baby, dog or horse....I forget all about him! LOL! Not really forget about him...I still know he is there...just ignore him!

Oh well...back to bed!!!!

Congratulations Bonnie!!!!:Pinkbounc On Princess Olivia's birth. Grandbabies everywhere!!

Just wanted to say Congrats. I have lots of wash to do but already got the food shopping & dog walking out of the way.

Hope you all have a great day. GO FLYERS!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Bonnie: Congratulations, grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julie: We are still planning on coming on Saturday. I promise not to laugh!

Sounds like everyone had fun over the weekend.
I worked and we went down to Amish to get snacks and stuff for our trip. We went to the Grandma Shearer's factory and bought the absolutely best potato chips!!!!! They are 2nds because they contain too much sugar and get more brown. To us, they are perfection! You can usually only get the chips during the week, but they were having a spring special, buy 1 get 1. So we got 4 lbs of chips for something like $3. We bought some other stuff too. We always get the worst munchies while traveling. By the way, I have only had 4 small chips. I am trying to learn to savor the flavor without pigging out.

Nothing much this weekend. Just mundane things, laundry, change the bed, cut the grass, Jerry changed the oil in the Regal and rotated the tires and we went for a short walk.

Just trying to get organized for our trip in less than 2 weeks.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Everyone have a margarita and celebrate.

Tomorrow is nurses day, so happy nurses day a day early!

Bonnie is a grandma. How wonderful! Princess Olivia will definitely be spoiled!

No time to chat. Heading off for Curves. See ya on the flip side!

I am now an official Curves for Women member. It was a great place to go. Laurie, I am sending you a pamphlet about it. It is certainly nothing fancy and that is what I liked about it. It has stations that you rotate to every so often and the music tells you when to go to the next one. They weighed me, measured me and did the body fat ratio thingy. It came back that I only needed to lose 16 pounds. Yea, whatever!

I need a vote from all of you. On Stacey and Heidi's graduation cake should I have their college seal scanned on the cake and Congratulations written on it or should I have the picture that I told you guys about with them crying when they were about 12 months or 18 months and say "you've come a long way, congratulations". Be formal or have it on the lighter side. We decided to have an informal open house if that helps your vote. Thanks guys!

Hmmm, wonder where Bonnie is.

I LOVE the picture idea!

Congratulations Bonnie Me Me. Oh and Barb, I hadn't heard that saying about 'grandchildren to love you back', but I love it.

Nothing new here. The usual annoyance with Katie's Girl scout co-leader who is now officially the leader. She drove out the WONDERFUL woman who we originally signed up with. Grrr. What to do, what to do.

Time to get the ol' homework whip a flyin'. Glad you liked your curves visit Sandy. Sue and Jeanne, your weekends sounded so nice.

Bonnie's has her beautiful granddaughter and I have a new nephew. My niece had her baby earlier today even though he was not due until 6/12. She had been in pre-term labor for several weeks but he decided today was the day (5 lbs. 13oz). They have him in the NICU for some oxygen and his blood sugar was low so they gave him some glucose. He also has a tube in his nose and they are running a few other tests just to be on the safe side (they say). Please keep him in your prayers although the nurses are telling the Mom and Dad not to worry he's fine. I went up to visit after work and got to go back to see him for a couple of minutes. He's just beautiful!!

That's all I have time for right now. I have some work to do this evening and it is already past 9:30.

Later!
