Turner slept in my room ast night since Paul had to go out of town. He tossed and turned but otherwise is OK. He says it doesn't hurt much anymore. Tomorrow we'll know for sure about a cast.

Denine - I can't even imagine a body cast for one week. How did you manage 3 months?

It has been 82 the last couple of days and today we are having a cold blast. It is to be 78. Not bad, huh? And the rain and snow is coming for the rest of the week. The temp is to remain mild however. Something like the 50's and 60's. No complaint here.

Tonight is taste testing at the caterer. Sure hope the dad comes to pick up the little ones early so I am not late. It is $10 a plate. Never knew that they charged for these things. We get the amount credited at the end however. To dress up or not is the question?

We are thinking of Turner. Glad that he isn't hurting anymore. Maybe that is a good sign.

Gee, I am jealous. I always wanted to be a ballerina but my folks couldn't afford it. I always pretended while washing the dishes. Maybe that is why mom and dad complained that it took us girls too long to do the dishes.

Sue: I threatend to soak off the cast in the tub many times!!!! Hope Turner is feeling better today.

It is supposed to be 83 today!!!!!!!!! Shorts for both me and Kaleigh Anne! We just won't think about the next days yet.

Today is tax day. Hope everyone got their's in on time. Maybe Patti can join us now.

Social worker comes tomorrow, for the last time, hopefully. Keep you fingers crossed that she has a court date for us!

I have been reading a message board about Laci Peterson
and watching this sad story unfold for a while now. Sounds like
this case may finally be coming to an end someone will possibly be arrested by tonight.

Got my confirmation letter about my December Disney reservations. Woooooo Hoooooo. It seems more real now

I guess that means I can still do it right but boy! It sure hurts to be a perfectionist with ballet! I could barely walk down the steps this evening!! What will I be like tomorrow?

I guess no news is good news with Turner? I hope all is ok.

Denine: I hope you have a court date!!! It has been a long wait for sure! Take lots of pictures when you go!

Sandy: Why don't you come out here and take ballet with me!! This school is really cheap and the teachers are all professional ballet dancers...wich is why I hurt so bad.

Tomorrow is doctor day for Turner. Wish us luck. He is SOOOOOO tired of this splint. It's going to be pretty ugly if they have to put a cast on it. This nice weather is killing him. Turner is 100% boy and thinks he must be active all the time! He doesn't like having to have help with bathing! He tried to talk me out of it tonight but I didn't give in!

Bonnie - sound like you could use a massage on the MAGIC!! or better yet, on Castaway Cay!

Sandy - watch the tasting tonight. Tomorrow is weigh in day!

Denine - hope you get that court date! Time to get this all finalized!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes but I forgot to tell you I stopped having them 20 some years ago that's when I started having 30A, 30B, 30C, etc. I really did have a nice birthday - Teddy & Summer took me to Olive Garden where my other son Derek works so we had a family dinner (kind of).

I guess you figured out I worked Monday & today (Tuesday). Monday night I went to Mediplex (a rehab center) to visit my Nurse Manager. She had a tumor removed from her spine & is paralyzed from the waist down but she had the surgery before (about 40 years ago) & was paralyzed but regained use of everything. She was in great spirits.

Poor Turner! Hope you don't need a cast.

It was way too nice to be at work today. The temperature went up to almost 80 degrees!

Hope you all have a great week. Union Meeting tomorrow at 8:00 AM then late dinner at Los Amigos with Joyce & few other co-workers. Some time tomorrow I also need to buy Easter flowers & visit the cemetery. The Easter Bunny will be here before you know it. Toodles JEANNE

Didn't make it down the steps too well this morning! Legs are protesting. But it will be better by tomorrow as I recall from my younger days when we would have 2 weeks off from ballet. Funny though...it feels good in a way.

Not much happening around here. Busy at work. I have finally decided to unpack. My "office was just being "signed of" so then It will have to be ordered then the work order so I figure I will be in a small cube for a couple months!!! HELP! I am so cramped in that cube.

Another beautiful day. I actually slept with the windows open! Feels great.

Good Morning.

Heard about the windstorm in New Mexico. Hope Patty and her family were not affected too badly.

I have a new name for DD#1......"Ballet Bonnie". Cute, but I guess it will never replace DD#1!!

Gotta run. Paul is still out of town and I have to help Turner get ready for school. Doctor this afternoon and then Turner wants to go to hockey practice to watch. I'll post this evening with an update.

Just a quick hello. I don't know how long I have until the sw comes. She is supposed to be here at 11 AM, but she is always early.
I figured I would post then go back and read.

I lost 3 more pounds!!!!!!!! That gives me 11 total. I wanted to lose 15 by Easter. I didn't make it, but I came close!

We went for another walk yesterday, the last for awhile. Jerry has to cut the grass tonight, before the rains come. Then, this morning he is giving me the totally depressing 10 day forecast.
He asked yesterday, how long he has to move us to Florida before I divorce him. I said 2 years! He was looking at more home websites at work yesterday.

I am tired and achy and just want to go on vacation. It can't come soon enough!!!!!!

Good Morning!

Mom is home safe and sound. Patty should be getting close
to being back on her normal schedule.

Jason will be home tomorrow.
He is in transition to Korea. He will be here for about 2 weeks
then I won't get to talk to him much.
However he is going to try really hard to get home for Christmas and the Disney vacation. I talk to him at least once a week now. I am really going to miss him when he is so far away.

Hope Turner escapes having to have a cast. None of my kids ever broke a bone. So we have not had to deal with casts.

We are (strongly) encouraging Jaymee to get a job. Jason is leaving his 2001 Mustang for her. So she is going to have insurance payments. Hope she finds something soon!

Ballet Bonnie!! I love it. You just never know what she is going to get into next. Hey how is Glen?? We haven't heard anything about him in a long time.

Hi guys. My computer seems to think that there is a new piece of hardware on it and is demanding the driver. Nothing is new! I've offered it the driver to everything already on it, and it's still not happy. Darn. I hate those annoyances. So, here I am freezing my tail off in the basement using Ben's computer, looking at all of the new junk he has adorned "his" area with in the past few months.
First let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to everyone!
Bonnie, you need to get back into that gradually.
I hope Turner got out of needing the cast, and if not, that it doesn't need to be on for long.
Jeanne, thanks for the help in Birthday counting. I guess I'm on 30K. Sounds like a marathon that I could never do!
OK, back to the house now. All of yesterday was spent helping Katie's class do a Revolutionary War reenactment. LONG day! Long drive to get there, long sip of beer and a very LONG shower after getting home. It got so windy in the afternoon, everyone in my carpool were blowing dirt out of their noses. Interesting site though, seeing 50 kids in full British and Revolutionary costumes, laying dead in a field. They were SO quiet!!!
I might be slowing down on checking in for a while, depending on when I get a chance to really figure out the deal with my computer. I'll need to find someone who can help me.

No court date yet. The social worker was going to call when she got back to see what is taking so long. She has a request for one before May 17 since that is when we are leaving for WDW. She is waiting for 3 court dates and keeps checking her mail.

I broke down and bought Ben Gay today. Rubbed it on as soon as I got home!! I should be in good shape tomorrow. Hot shower tonight, Ben Gay and hopefully will be able to walk down the steps better! I look like the old lady that I am! LOL!

Barb: Glenn is fine...leaving for Chicago a week from Sat. then Sun. off to San Francisco. He says this is a woman's thread...he is absolutely right!!! Although every now and then he takes a peek from what he says.

Denine....I hope you get the date before WDW...what a wonderful celebration you can have while there. It went up to 86 today but supposed to be 1/2 that tomorrow. It was just a little too hot for me!

Ballet Bonnie? Nah!!! Aching old lady? YES! LOL!

I'm back!!! I had a WONDERFUL time....we helped put kits for the classes together on Thursday and then on Fri and Sat took 4 classes each day and in between we shopped, shopped and shopped....stayed in a hotel about half mile away from the convention center and Linda drove everyday...good thing she did as we bought so much stuff I even had to buy a cart to haul the stuff to the car at the garage two blocks away. I told Linda there was no way I was carrying that stuff!

I learned some new things and did a lot of the things I already knew but it was a blast. Linda has decided we are going to do this every year as a mother-daughter thing. Patti and Julie said they are going and of course Barb and Tiff is going so it will be a great time. I was surprised at how nice downtown Austin was as I had only see the outskirts.

Heard they may be doing an expo in Denver next year....they did 6 this year and are going to do l3 next year.

I think I am home for awhile now....I went back to Curves today and I have my gardens to do (22) of them and have to get my house finished with spring cleaning. I am having company from the first of June until the end of July. Most of the family will be here at one time or another and we are planning a day at Lakeside I think.

No cast! And, no firm answer on the wrist. They gave him a brace and they are going to treat it as a sprain and we go back in 2 weeks. If he is still in pain, then new x-rays and a cast. If anot in pain, then maybe they'll set him free. No sports for 2 weeks!!! His coach was so cool. He has named Turner as his Assistant Coach. Of course, Turner is telling me he can probably were his glove over the brace and we don't have to tell the doctor! My answer: WRONG!!!!

Can't stay online. I had to bring a lot of work home tonight!

Oh yeah - I lost 1.6 pounds this past week!! That's a total of 8.4 pounds for me.

My vote is for the glove to go over the brace!!! A kid after my own heart! I broke a finger taking a horse over a jump and they casted it 1/2 way up my arm!!! Within a week I was back up on the horse complete with cast. My mom drove up and had fits!!!!
So as you can see...I side with Turner!! LOL!
