Ohhh, TANZANITE! I love that stone, such a beautiful light purple, seems like it must be plugged into a power source somewhere.
I always have loved to colllect things and thought it was time I moved on from teddy bears.....
] LOL, too funny. A girl after my own heart!
.....of course I had to lead Dick off the ship as he was still in a dazed condition. :p

Glad you had such a great time Sally, but it's good to have you home. We missed you.

OK, enough goofing around with the girls. I really need to get serious about packing. I borrowed suitcases from my Mom yesterday and have a pile of snorkel gear in the living room. I need to go buy the kids disposable water cameras and some snacks for the plane rides, then go on a field trip with Cody's class, then REALLY, I'm going to pack tonight and get to bed early!! Really!!! (I'm convincing myself, really)
We need to leave the house at 4am tomorrow (so maybe I'll just pack until 3 and take a shower and go.)

OK, if I don't get back on today, Aloha and I'll be back on the 26th.
:sunny: :sunny: :wave2: :sunny: :sunny:

Have a fantastic time, Lori! Give the family big hugs from Aunt Sandy. Take lots of pictures and when you get back lets have lunch with Barb and Sally. Both you and Sally can share your pics with us. Aloha!

Sally, I love jewels. Lots and lots of them! I am jealous. Your trip sounded wonderful. I have heard a lot of good things about the Panama Canal cruise. Did you get lonesome for the Magic? I need YOU to excercise for ME. I got my cold back and feel miserable today. Oh no, now what do we do? I have to skip tomorrow too because of my schedule. I get my flu shot. YUCK but necessary. I hate humidity too. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach. Now slow down and take a deep breath. The house can wait. Don't want to get sick again now do you? Happy that Barb likes to do the Holidays. It is expected of me.

   Bye Lori!

I went to see Good Boy with my grandaughter,...it is a cute movie......

They may not give you your flu shot if you have a cold.....don't think I will exercise until next week,.......we are in trouble!!

Good Boy, huh? Don't think I know of that one. Who is in it? I usually have a cold around this time and as long as I am not running a fever they will give me my flu shot. It is really funny. I am always sick in Sept and October. Never allergies though. Strange creature that I am!

Good Boy is the movie about the dogs that talk.....

I ended up goofing off all day....movie, lunch and shopping...guess I think I am still on vacation.....

Then while my grandaughter and I was watching tv she saw a mouse run across the living room....we had had the back door open so the dogs could get out and instead Mickey got in....his mistake....one less Mickey in the world. Dick put down a trap and in the morning Mickey had bite the dust (bait that is). I hate mice in the house...this was the 3rd in 36 years so I guess that isn't bad but one is too many as far as I am concerned.

My grandaughter Crissy is still staying here...she watched Abby and the house while we were gone. She has to go to work today and Dick is leaving for work soon so maybe I will get some work done today. Tomorrow is our big scrapbooking day doing Disney pages all day at Simple Pleasures. This is a wonderful store....she just moved and it is probably the best shop in the city....

I did manage to get the suitcases unpacked yesterday but still need to do laundry and put things away.

Thanks for the spelling of tanzanite Lori......can't have a jewel and not know how to spell it.....I got the light purple...they had darker stones but I like the light purple better too.

My flowers are still as pretty as they were when we left....I was amazed as Crissy said we had some really cold nights....I do need to cut back my rose bushes today except for two branches that are still blooming...it has two more buds on it. I love the fall with the mums blooming. Crissy even had put a scarecrow out to greet us and a few other fall decorations.

Guess I had better start my day .......

SANDY: A good friend (Mary) is getting married tomorrow at 11:30 AM. I am her "stand-in" bridesmaid in case her step-daughter who is nine months pregnant goes into labor. Joyce & her husband Les are going to the wedding too. I haven't heard anything yet but I am getting my hair & nails done today just in case!:bride: Joyce & I will be right across the hall on the cruise!

BONNIE: You made me nervous when I read your posting about the Candlelight & booking Canada for dinner. I was trying to wait & see who the narrators were going to be but now I am just going to book it!:scared:

I am getting sooooooooooo excited:goodvibes :goodvibes I can't wait for Disney. Hope you all have a great weekend. I am planning a fun filled one! Toodles:wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

Hi guys, nothing new here. Flu shot day. Just took my temperature and it was normal so I am sure they will give it to me. I hate feeling like this and don't even have a temp to show for it!

Jeanne, that is pretty cute that she is having a stand in bridesmaid. 9 months pregnant, Wow, you never know! We have never done Candlelight. Is that a ticket event? Did someone say the narrator is Ben Vereen? Gotta love him!

Where is everyone? Yesterday it was mainly Mom and me. Come out, come out where ever you are!

I'm working from home today but have been too busy to login. But I had to take a few minutes to let you all know our docs arrived for our Nov. 29th cruise. I sure wish you all could feel the excitement with me and then go with me on the cruise!! I'll try to log back in later this evening and post more. Miss you all!
Later!

Bonnie made me so nervous:scared: about getting reservations for "Le Cellier" & the Candlelight Procession that I called as soon as I got home from the hairdressers. Joyce & I have dinner reservations for 4:00 PM at Le Cellier (Canada) which is the best & will see the 6:45 PM show with BEN VEREEN. Getting excited again:goodvibes. It came to $89.44 for both of us which includes your meal, appetizers, etc. We are going on December 2nd!
Now we really are set!!!!

Still no word whether she went in to labor or not but I am ready!:bride: :bride: :bride: Hair & nails are done!

Have a great weekend. Toodles:wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

So glad everyone's plans are shaping up for the WDW trips in December. Don't forget I want to see as many of you as I can on the Saturday we return from sea (12/6). I can't wait to see you all!

Sally - I am so glad you are back and had a great trip. We missed you! Sounds ike you brought home some very nice jewels!

I hope Lori & Co. are having a great trip! I have never been to Hawaii but would love to go sometime.

I've got to get to bed early. Paul is working this weekend and I have to get Turner to his hockey game at 6:00am!!! and then to soccer at 9:00. Paul should be home tomorrow evening and we are going to the Charlotte Checkers home opener!! As hockey fans say...Drop the Puck!!

Later!

How did you get that Jeanne???? I tried for that exact time 2 nights in a row and was told on both nights that it was not available!!!! We are going to the 8:15 show and eating at Marakesh!!!! I am soooooo bummmed!!! Who do you know???

Sandy-Ben Veren will be there the 1st 2nd and 3rd...I just love him! He actually kissed me once!:earseek: Of course I was 8 months pregnant and he couldn't miss me in the audience...actually stopped the show for a bit. If you get the most expensive meal on the menu it really pays to do the dinner package....better seats...still have to stand in a line though to get up close. The price includes gratuity...you used to get 10 or 15% off all purchases that day in EPCOT but they did away with that part.

I think Ted and I will skip the Candlelight as I don't feel real rich. MVMCP will have to do. I am getting so excited and Jeanne makes it worse with her enthusiasm. So Bonnie, making out with Ben Vereen, huh? Can't wait to tell Heidi that one.

Susan, we HAVE to make plans on when and where to meet when you get off the ship. Now, I wish I was going with you. I was just telling Heidi today that there isn't anything to look forward to like the docs for a cruise. Lucky duck! I forgot eastern or western for you? 6:00 hockey? Waaaay to early for me! And then to think another game 3 hours later. WOW!

Sally, we are fighting mice this year, too. We never have had a problem. We have had a couple in the garage and one made it into the house. I saw him so I know he was/is here. We have set 3 traps and didn't get him yet. So, we put out dcon. I hate the thought of not knowing if he went back out. I hate this feeling of being scared in the dark and quiet.

Got the flu shot. It was the easiest shot ever. No pain but afterwards I realized the guy didn't swab alcohol over the site first. Nurses, why not? Isn't it important to cleanse the area? Heidi got news of a bad pap yesterday. They made her go into a specialist today. That doctor thinks everything is ok. Will know in about a week. Pixie dust please.

Good night everyone.

Sandy- Don't skip Candlelight...you can still see the show for free...you will just have to get in line really early to get a seat. It is well worth it!!! Even if you don't get a seat and have to stand at the back it is worth it. Brings tears to my eyes. Full orchestra, chorus, trumpets...just wonderful!!!!

Bonnie, you said the 8:15 show for CP. Does that mean there is more than one show each night? Is it every night? I just checked WDW site and really didn't find anything. I am now trying to plan everything and this time around I feel lost. We were there right after Christmas but not before so it is different. I was looking for the Swan and Dolphin telephone number to have with me in case I need to contact you guys and I think that we qualify for the same discount. Too bad I didn't know before hand. It would fall under the Govt discount. It does say local and I would assume that means CITY. In case you want All Star Movies number for us it is 407 939-7000. I was just reading about MVMCP and read about the free photos. Would love to have one of all of us being that is the place you all agreed to hook up at. Can you feel my excitement now? I just keep rattling. Sorry! Even Ted is getting excited.

CP has 3 shows each night, every night...THe early one is around 5pm...that isn't as nice because the sky is still light, then the 6:45 and the 8:15 show. Glenn thinks the early show is the least crowded because people are at dinner or they prefer the show in the dark as we do.
The phone number they have listed is 407-934-3000. The room is under my name. I believe you would qualify for the discount but AS is still less expensive. We like the location of the hotel...so convenient to MGM and EPCOT. We will have to finalize plans prior to leaving as to when and where to meet. Glenn and I get there on the 2nd. And leave on the 8th. I think it would be great to get a group picture for the free MVMCP picture...All of us in one. Of course we will have to hook up at MVMCP. Glenn is the one with the good idea with getting in for MVMCP...I don't want to give away the secret though on the board....in case we have some non-cruiser lurkers out there! LOL!

I can't wait till you all meet Glenn...Who would have thought that last December when I was talking of the Dudettes meeting some man that I would be with him still. He is worth it!!! Best thing I ever did!::yes::

Good morning. Mighty quiet here. Lori is gone, Susan is waaay to busy this morning, Barb never gets on during the weekend, Sally????, Denine is probably on her way home.

Thank Bonnie for the tidbits. If Ted lets me sit for a moment today I will give you a call to chat. It has been a while. Last time was over insurance. Wow, it has been a year since you met Glenn. I am happy that the meeting a year ago turned out so wonderful for the two of you!

Have errands to run with Ted. Talk to you all later. Or is it, I will talk to myself later if no one else posts? Happy Saturday.

Turner's hockey game ended in a tie 1-1. But, his team won their soccer game 3-1. Came home from both, walked the dog and went back to bed for a nap. I am still tired and it is early afternoon. How will I stay awake for the hockey game tonight???

I probably won't be back on til tomorrow but didn't want Sandy and Bonnie to think they were all alone!

Love ya! Later!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DENINE AND JERRY!!!! :bride: :groom:

May you have many more wonderful years together!

HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO THE OCTOBER 19TH CRUISERS!! :boat:
