He's hired for good!!!! Of course I can't wait to pay him! LOL!
Look who he found in Key West!!!!!!!
Hi Bonnie,
Well I'm sorry it's taken me so long to e-mail I've just been very busy recently. Firstly I hope you are well and the weather is improving up there. If it makes you feel any better we've even had a cold front here in the Caribbean this last few days. We are in Key West today (due to a crazy itinery this week) and it's only in the low 70's when it should be in the mid 80's

.
Unfortunatly I've been having a bit of a bad week. I started to feel very ill at the end of the last cruise and I had to be put in isolation for 4 days (what a nightmare). Luckly I just slept through most of it but by the last day I was starting to climb up the walls. Anyway I'm out now and feeling much better (thank goodness!)
Well it's been a bit of a crazy cruise this week. We left Port Canaveral bound for Key West with low winds and calm seas. At about 10am on Sunday morning (we were due to arrive at Key West at 12:30,) the captain came over the P.A. system to say that we had been contacted by the Key West port authority and told that due to a large storm front moving toward them from the south they would not be able to allow any ships to dock at Key West that day. So we had to divert and the captain decided we would spend Sunday at sea and go straight to Cozumel and arrive there on Monday morning. Anyway all this was quite funny at the time because the seas were still very calm, but then at about 2/3pm we started to hit the storm and my life was it rough. The information channel was showing the sea conditions at Very Rough and the wind at Violent Storm and boy were we moving not just from side to side but the whole ship was bouncing up and down. This lasted well into the night and from what I hear not many people turned up for dinner and they had a lot of very sick guest (I'm told they had sick bags dotted around in guest areas!!!).
Well we arrived in Cozumel at about 7am on Monday morning to much calmer seas. It was still rough enough though that they had to cancel all the shore excursions involving Snorkling. We were due to leave Cozumel at around 5pm to head to Grand Cayman, but then at about 4pm the captain came over the PA system to say that we would not be able to go to Grand Cayman as the seas were still to rough to tender but that the Cozumel port authority had found us a place to dock for the day 115 nautical miles down the coast at Costa Maya (around 80 miles Belize), the captain also explained that we would now stay in Cozumel until 11pm and then arrive in Costa Maya at around 7am.
Anyway to cut a long story shore (as I have to get to work sorry!) We went to Costa maya then spent a day at sea before coming here to Key West today.
I'm sorry to cut this e-mail sort but I sort of lost track of time!!!
Well I'll e-mail you again as soon as I can and please say hi to everyone on the boards for me.
Take Care,
Darren
