Bonnie: Glad your fridge looks good!

Jeanne: I know all too well those expensive vet bills!!!!!!

We're going to dinner with my dad and his girlfriend. I may be a ittle late for the wine tasting but I will be on as soon as I get home.

Hi guys. I'll be aiming for the wine party. I believe that would be 6 mountain time, I'm on call for work until 7, so I might be working-who knows.
Trying to fit in the weekend plans with a sick kid thrown into the mix. Katie left for school happy and energetic Fri morning, and was sent home at noon looking and feeling horrible. The poor thing has strep. There goes a few plans, but that's mommyhood. She's got to get thru it without 1st choice antibiotics as she's allergic to everything. Oop, got to run. I'll try and be on tonight.
See ya

On the way to Staceys. Thought I would get on and get your IM names. Might try and get on her computer. She is Stfreckles2. Wow, the wine party grew. Good for you guys, bad for me. Someone said that maybe you could stay on until I get back. Yeah, right. You guys always head off to bed EARLY. Ohhhh, I just remembered something. We change our clocks tonight. One hour ahead. How about you guys? Everyone will lose one hour of sleep.

Ewwww, strep. Poor Katie. Give her a hug from Aunt Sandy. I can't be around strep. I guess it can be deadly for me due to my rheumatic fever that I had.

Laurie is busy tonight. She said that she might be able to be at the wine party for a short time but wasn't sure.

Told you Bonnie that black would be great. So happy you are pleased as you were very leary. Doctor today Bonnie? Did you make me happy?;)

Susan hope you are getting better.

Denine, summer is coming. Hang in there.

Hey! I'm online and all alone. (Yikes that sounded like one of those trash spam's we get:eek:) I'll need to make it look like I'm busy fixing dinner whenever Ben comes back downstairs. (shhhh - I'm actually on the computer) Well, I'll check in between courses. Maybe it's time to open a bottle anyway ... hummm, what goes best with shake and bake? A Calif. Pino Noir, I think. (Boycotting French wines)

I'll tell ya! Just Lori and I...we are waiting around for the rest of you very busy people who put real family before cruise family....Hmph! We're here if anyone shows up just IM me

Bonnie, I don't get it. Real family and cruise family. Aren't they the same?

Had a great evening. Missed those that could not attend. Somewhere in the middle of the US, we want a reunion. How can we plan one? Ideas? Interests?

Goodnight and love you all.

I told you last night Sandy...Chicago!!! You all think I'm joking but if you look on the map it is central to all of us!!!! I know..I looked. Of course it would be easier for Laurie since she is only about an hour away. We can find a campground near enough to the city for the RV's!

It was a terrific party last night. A little slow to start but once we got started!
I know that if the neighbors heard me howling they were probably saying...."Bonnie has finally lost it! It must be that black refrigerator."

Hey Krista? How enlarged did it get? Must be pretty big by now!

Those of you who didn't make it were missed...maybe next time.

Sounds like your small group had fun last night.

It snowed yesterday (flurries) it was snowing this morning when I left for work and Jerry just told me there is a winter weather advsiry for tonight and tomorrow. 1-2 inches tonight coupled with freezing rain and another 1-3 tomorrow. Goodbye home opener (told you it could get snowed out) and possibly goodbye old snow record!!!! Who said summer was coming?????? I don't believe you!!!!!!!

I just saw where David Bloom of NBC's Today Show died this morning of a possible pulmonary embolism. He was in Iraq covering the war and was only 39. He leaves 3 young daughters behind. We always watched him on the weekend show. (No recent plane trips that I know of, he's been there a few weeks)

Work was soooo slow this morning. I didn't think everyone was going to be out of bed before I left for home. One resident claims he had already eaten breakfast and wanted to stay in bed. I said fine, gave him his meds and was thrilled that he didn't try to beat me up this weekend.

Lori: Poor Katie! I hope she feels better soon!

We had another beautiful day today (sorry, Denine). We have rain on the way and it looks like it will last several days and get cooler.

I got a new storm door for the front and Paul and I installed it and it looks great. Our other one had been broken for quite a while but we hadn't had time to replace it.

We did a little yard work today now I am going to go for a long walk with Turner before he has to get ready for bed.

Later!

Glad you all had fun at your wine tasting party. One of these days I'll get computer literate but it will probably be when I'm six feet under.

Took a ride to Cape May Wicker & bought my headboard, my son bought me the desk & my daughter bought me a wicker hope chest so my room is finished. YEAH!:Pinkbounc There is a lot of wicker furniture in my bedroom now but when I retire to Victoria Towers in Cape May I can move some of the wicker to my living room & do it all with a "shore" theme.

The weather turned out to be really nice today but tomorrow they are predicting snow. What gives????? Isn't it SPRING?

Hope you all have a great week! Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Well...lousy weather day, snow, sleet, rain. And my crown just broke!!!! I'll tell you I can't win!!!! I now have a gapeing hole in my mouth!!!!!

That's about it for me!!! Great day isn't it?

Sorry about the crown, Bonnie. Hang in there!

It's gonna be yucky here today with heavy rain expected all day.

Everyone have a good day!

Later!

Good Morning!!

Friday was a wonderful day with the girls. We found both Prom dresses. We went to lunch and had a really fun time.

I am still stuggling with Tiffany on the dating issue. I think she is going to be a little more challenging then Jaymee ever was. Jaymee was so easy to raise. Always took no without arguing and I always had a good idea where she was.

Mike is now on his way to Iraq and Missy is sad. Hope he is not gone to long. We are still walking on pins and needles waiting to see if Bob has to go.

Sorry I missed the wine party on Saturday. I am rarely home on Saturday nights. Thats date night!

Barb

Good morning. I hope we have dodged a huge bullet. They were talking up to 6 inches of snow last night, but so far all we have gotten is a lot of cold rain. I hate the gloom of rain, but at least you don't have to shovel it! They did, however, cancel todays home opener. They will try for tomorrow.

Barb: Sounds like you had a lot of fun on Friday! Hopefully Mike will stay safe and will be home soon and that Bob won't have to go.

Sue: Don't you wish you lived up here?

Bonnie: Sorry about your tooth!

Where is everyone???????

Kaleigh is sleeping, I am going bug eyed trying to do a checkerboard pattern on Kaleigh's cross stitch project, so I signed on and there is no one here!

Tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of our 1st date and we want to go to the Olive Garden. How do I do it and not feel guilty? I love the salad and bread sticks and the past with fresh tomatos!! I guess if we take Kaleigh with us, we will have to eat quickly so she doesn't get too fussy!

I am getting tired of V-8 juice. The fruit one is OK, but the veggie one...

I had to call the vet today about Ollie. He is licking himself raw again. The vet is going to put him on prednisone again and keep him on it QOD. I already have to give him his theophylline, so what is one more?

There is a poor, wet, little brown bunny eating grass outside of my window. He is so cute!

Hey Denine, I was just finishing off my yummy V8 as I read your post. :p I actually had a craving for it!

Hi everyone. Everything is lovely here. Katie made it in to school today, yesterday's snow melted in about 10 minutes, snacks are ready for tonight's girl scout meeting and I have an hour to spare! WooHoo. I should take the hack saw to some branches today ... but, I'm NOT. Ha! See how rebellious I am?

Getting a birthday party planned for Katie. She wants a Luau theme. I have retyped instructions for the simple hula (they came with a grass skirt, but needed editing) and burned a CD of good hula-ing songs for each girl. The produce guy is going to order me some sugar cane sticks. So, we'll learn to hula and eat dinner. Each girl will have a skirt, lei, head wreath, CD, instructions and a sugar cane to take home. I need suggestions on items for dinner. (I've decided against burying a pig over coals in the backyard) Maybe BBQ porkribs. I'll get a fresh pineapple to cut for them, so they see how good fresh can taste. Anything else?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PAUL SCHROLL!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you have a good one!
