Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

Just wondering what movies they will be showing on board. popcorn:: I'm hoping for Secretariat, since that will officially open this Friday. Maybe TS3? I would love to see that again!

In 2 weeks we will be having a sea, but let's do pirate night instead

Someone on the main cruise board posted the movies for October will be:

The Princess and the Frog

Alice in Wonderland -3D

The Last Song

Oceans

Toy Story 3-3D

Sorcerer's Apprentice

Step Up-3D

You again

Of course, these are subject to change ;)

I just got this in from another dis board. I was looking to see if I could find out where she was going which is Freeport in the Bhammas for dry dock.
Also I copied this

Just off the Magic this morning. She is heading to Freeport this afternoon for what was described as a mostly maritime drydock. Things guests will notice after dry dock will be the new marble floor in the atrium, new drink station on deck 9 (similar to the Wonder), some stateroom bathrooms will get updated and other usual cleaning and scrubbing.

Thanks! Glad to see TS3 and in 3D no less! :yay: I'm still hoping for Secretariat...

I am like you I hope Secretariat will be showing. We know several people that were extras in that movie. Alot of it was shot in Louisville

I know several of you will find this funny - we downgraded our reservation to a Category 11 on Friday (we were never happy with Deck 2) and guess which room we have ended up with - 7631 - the handicap accessible room! I am sure we will manage fine but I do hope the bed separates into twin beds or I will be sharing with my mum all week!!
We leave for Orlando Sat am but have so much to do before then - including probably repairing my classroom roof from the floods here.

The members cruise had Secretariat.popcorn::

I missed the Disney Movie Club Sneak Preview on 9/22 and the Saturday Night Sneak Preview. I was going to go this weekend. I can always see it again if it's running on the boat. It would be fun to see it with some real Kentuckians popcorn::

Secretariat is my all time favorite horse - I had pictures of him all over my room. As far as I'm concerned, he was responsible for the most exciting 1 minute and 59 seconds in sports history!

Too funny! :lmao: But allow me to say 'Hi Neighbour' as we are just down the hall in 7118. You have moved into major DIS territory!

We never seem to find the time to watch a movie!! The only ones I have seen were openings of Up and the Villages and they were both at midnight!

:wizard: for all that are going through floods.

Congrats on you downgrade. Tommy's mom and sister had a handicap room and it was huge.

Mine too! We visited him several times at the horse park. I was so sad when he died. I was at Churchill Downs over the weekend. I still get goose bumps when I see the twin spires.

Isn't Secretariat buried in Kentucky?

We leave 10 days from today! Just got back from Target. Had to get a bunch of stuff to replenish the Owners Locker.

I am feeling better, still run down though. But I still have meds and time until we leave. Thanks for asking!

I think in all our cruises we have only seen a couple of movies.

We would love to upgrade at the port. It all depends on how much it costs.
We usually have a balcony, but went with a Cat 10 to save. We will see. Not sure how I will like deck 2.

We just got our 'Final Reminders' email from DCL!!! :yay:

We got ours also. Was just checking it out to make sure they had all our resivations and excursions in order and our online check in was done.
We are ready.

OK FOLKS DON'T FORGET ABOUT ON LINE CHECK IN . GET HER DONE:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm sure Dan would like that one too. I might even be able to drag him to it here at home!
