Ive heard that before. Theres a reason for it. Theres only 2 places in the world that are allowed to make the Mickey bars. 1 is here in Fl, and the other is in Cali. I dont think any of the other parks have them.
They tried several years ago, to ship some over to Europe to meet the ship and it didnt work. Whatll most likely happen, is either they will have some sent over by messenger to CC, or the Wonder will deliver extras to CC to meet the Magic.


If you ment they didn't have any at the World. When we stayed at the Towers in April we had a Mickey Bar every afternoon . I guess I don't understand??

I hope and think te are reffering to Like DIsney in Europe Etc... not in the US.

There would be a mutany if we do not have Mickey bars.

Sorry went to Universal for a few hours today, and just got back.

AFAIK, the only 2 parks (well 6) are the 4 here in Fl, and the 2 in Cali., that have the Mickey bars. Disney Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo, dont. The ships receive theirs, from the Fl plant,thru Disney Distrubutions. Im not sure exactly where the plant is. It might be on property, or it might be contracted. The other plant is somewhere near Disneyland. In any case, it was posted on a thread I saw not long ago, that mentioned, that someone was a previos WBTA, and asked the capt about the Mickey bars. That was the answer that was relayed. The poster, asked or said somethng about CC, and apparently someone thought it was a good idea, and there was plenty of Mickey bars waiting on the Magic when she got to CC. As far as our cruise, they should be on one of the trailers coming from DDS, from the MK area, as part of the restock.

At any rate, sorry for the confusion.

Its my daughter birthday today. She is 3 years old. She is so excited about the upcoming trip to wdw and the disney cruise. We had to watch the Disney Cruise dvd yet again today. I hope everybody is having a wonderful day.

Ever think it's scary to know that much about Mickey bars? Good info to have and I'm very grateful, but sometimes I wonder about our obsession. (Myself included, of course) Of course, I usually only wonder when non-Disney lovers look at me with that "How in the heck did you come to know THAT?" look.

I get that look alot. My daughter (well soon to be adopted) is amazed, and my son is also, when ever we go to any of the parks, and I point things out to them, like the names on the windows on Mainstreet,or the story bhind the Haunted Mansion................

BTW, if any one is confused about the DDS acronym, it Disney Distribution Services. They ship any and everything Disney related on and off property. They have 2 or 3 huge wharehouses over by Saratoga Springs, on Buena Vista Drive. It all comes in to that point,sorted and shipped, unless its specifically ship related, such as engine parts, ship electroincs, lifeboats or their parts etc. All of tht is in a special wharehouse, over by International Corporation Blvd, off the 528.I think thats where it is. Its supposed to be moving onto the Orlando International Airport property somewhere, in a brand new bldg, for tax puropses. Something about how things come and go from the country, and how taxes are applied to it.
