Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

Ok. This is what I have so far. The names are for 2 reasons. 1 match a screen name to the person, and also, if someone needs a ride its easier to say, Person x at Residence with 3 people, need a lift, or follow someone. Also, the resort is to see what Disers are in what resort, to make finding fellow Disers easier.

When I call in a few weeks, Ill have them put it under Disney or something to that effect, so we dont have to remember whos name its under.

First day I was able to book Palo Brunch, it was already booked!
Since this was my first DCL cruise I was not one of the past cruisers who got to booked theirs earlier. Oh well, got a rental car so that I could get to port early to hopefully be able to book brunch...Now I don't have too! Tonight just checking and there it was Palo Brunch available on Key West day for party of 2 for the times of 10 and 10:30.

I BOOKED IT!!! No more getting up early, now I can sleep in and take my time checking to port.

So, since we are less than 30 days out, do they start trickling reservatons?
My group scored the private room for brunch on Thursday . . .I can't begin to say how excited I am about that!

Whomever is going to Grills on the 15th, please let me know, with a pm,or a post on the board so we can get a head count. Also, need to know a name, and how many children and adults, and if you need transportation.

Also, to save on some questions as to who is staying where, the resort you are staying at, prior to the cruise, if you have one,even if you are not going to Grills.

Our request for the private room on Sunday morning came through yesterday as well. As the private room requests clear, they free up the individual ressies, thats why you have to give them a list of everyone in your party and their res numbers.

I saw this info on the DCL Secrets thread and thought some of you with little ones might find this interesting:

I never saw this written anywhere, but we found a little "parking lot" of free baby joggers and red wagons to use on Castaway Cay. First come first serve and very handy moving a family over sand.

We rode the tram to the family beach and kept walking down the path. They were to the left hand side (the ocean side) of the path. I can't remember exactly where but it was definitely past the Flying Dutchman and before you come to the shopping area.

The wagons really come in handy especially if you want to get to the least crowded part of the family beach. There are ideal shady hammocks by the Heads Up bar on the very far side that my family used, but you have to cross a fair amount of sand to get there and my umbrella stroller would not have made it.

There were a lot of people doing what I was doing...hestiantly taking them and looking both ways for someone to leap out of the foliage saying "What's your room number??!!?" But no one did!

No, we are staying by the airport in Orlando as we arrive kind of late on Friday. We will take a shuttle on Saturday to the port and hopefully meet you all in the terminal on Saturday morning

I have been gradually getting things together. Whenever I had to iron something for the present, I would do a couple things for the future (i.e. cruise). I have a list & know whee everything is - just don't want to put it in suitcases yet.
