Oh well, can't say I'm disappointed. Chef Mickeys' breakfast was more than enugh for us (tiny crowded side room, ice cold air condition, and the noise was pandemonium ). Not really a place we will return to!

My posts on the first page(es) of our thread(s) have been a work in progress over the last 22 months Over the course of time, we have gained and lost many people and when we lost our original thread starter, I felt responsible for stepping up to the plate and continue to provide helpful information in a central location (even though it wasn't always post #1) .

Ron has done a wonderful job putting together his First Timers Guide . . .and Kudo's to him for that I myself have poured over all the information he has compiled.

I may not be very chatty, but I'm always here soaking everything in

Ive been on the first time cruise on 2 different lines now, and have my inlaws coming for their second. I know how hard it is to try and plan for something you know very little about. When I looked at the tip thread and there was around 10 pages, and everything was scatterred I figured that this would be easier. Some of it came from others like the over the door shoe holders, and some of it is mine, like zip tying your luggage. In the end I guess its really a collaborative piece.

With the hidden Mickeys,we do it all the time in the parks. Its something fun to do, and everyone can play for free. Ive actually come across the story line for the Haunted Mansion looking for HM, as well as the story behind the names on the glass on the store fronts on Main Street.It keeps the kids occupied, and away from the I want to he/she did this. We do the same thing in the car except with punch buggies.

It has been in the 80's and wonderful here this week. I am working from home today. Meg and Ryan has started back to school and seem to like it ok. Alisha is doing well. I am going to attempt a diaper cake for her shower. We will see how it turns out.

Its in the upper 70s here for the last 2 days for a change. Pretty much rained all day. Im gratefull for the break in the 100 degree plus heat.

I made a castle cake for my soon to be adopted daughter. Took me about 6 hours, and a really big oops on Danis side.

We only ate breakfast there and it was yummy. We had a great table though right in the middle by the buffet. It was not noisy since it was so open.

Ive asked a few times already, and the answer I got from someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about, was that they give the gty assignments out between 60 and 30 days out. When I pointed out that we were 58 days (at the time) he said any day now. Theres a team of managers in the back of the DCL phone reservation office, that handle all upgrades/assignments, and theres no ryhme or reason as to what they do and why.

Oh, that's too bad! I've only been there once but we had a great table right in the middle of everything. (Plus I think Leisha kept winking at Donald , so we got a lot of characters headed our way )
