Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

I agree!!! Thanks for the welcome Darnella.

Did anyone book excursions in Key West and Castaway Cay? I'm having a hard time deciding on what to do there. In Grand Cayman we booked the Dolphin Encounter and in Cozumel the Jeep Tour. Any thoughts would be appreciated???

We too are on the Jeep Tour. We did a snorkel in Key West years ago and it was a lot of fun, this time we are just going to walk around. CC we just enjoy the beach!

Yeah, the Jeep Tour sounds like fun!!! I couldn't decide between it and the Tulum Ruins. I went with the Jeep Tour because I didn't want to be away from the kids for the 8 hours required for the ruins.

I've been reading other threads that recommend just walking around in Key West or doing the Trolley Tour on your own...I think I'll do that too. Thanks for the input:)

Hello everyone!

I am trying to finalize all of the Fish Extender group information. I have sent a PM to everyone I currently have on the list to confirm their information. If you did not get a PM but thought you were on the list, please let me know. I don't want to lose anyone!

If anyone else would like to join, please send me a PM. We would love to have you!

I would like to set a cut-off date on Sunday, August 15th.
I need to get a final list out to everyone in the group so they can purchase their goodies.

Thanks!

Stefanie

This is our first cruise. I am on the list for the FE exchange. What do you give to everybody? I know it is a silly question but I want people to like what I give them. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you've never been to Key West the Conch Train/Trolley is a nice way to see the whole town. It's basically a tram - some look like trolleys and some like trains. Every tour is a little different because the drivers put their own personality into it (kind of like the Jungle boats in MK ;). Then you'll have an idea of what you want to go back and see. There's some great local food, like conch fritters and frozen Key Lime pie (although Joanne needs to tell me where to find this :confused3 ).

We're on the jeep tour too! :drive: I believe it says that we will visit some ruins on that tour as well. (I'm sure we'll see some ruins by the end of the tour, if I'm driving :lmao:)

Too funny!!! This made me think of myself. DH doesn't drive a stick so I'll be behind the wheel when we do this tour. This is going to be interesting...:rotfl:

:wave2: I am Paulene, friend of Darnella's! :goodvibes Darnella & I met on our cruise last August & booked this one together. :cool1:LOVE the idea of getting the kids to meet. :thumbsup2

I think it would be great to get the kids together for a meet. We have a 3 year old daughter. We should plan something.:wizard:

My DD is 3 as well! Looks like a good group going!
I don't post much because we are traveling with My in-laws and my MIL is Dizzylanddeb Who is super active on here and just tells me what is up LOL !:rotfl:

Hey, sorry we are not doing that. We are doing the Captain Marvin's.

I am just curious. We were at the turtle farm before it was redone a couple of years ago. We were trying to find something that was fun for DD but not a pain with a 6 mo. old! ANd this looked fun for them both. We are not doing it through DCL though we are just getting tickets and doing it on our own to save cost.

I hear ya on saving the money!! ;) We booked Captn Marvin's on our own as well. Originally we had the dolphin encounter in Grand Cayman booked but we changed it. What are you doing in Cozumel? We are doin the Nachi Cocom.

well, we have been to coz. twice and decided that this time we are just going to get off and walk around a bit, maybe buy my vanilla and the kids keychains and possibly eat with MIL then enjoy the ship when it is not so crowded.

My family and mylittleprincess's family booked Stringray city and snorkel tour on GC through Captain Marvin's and Nochi (beach day)for Cozumel. Neither are through DCL and therefore easier on the pocket book.
I personally wouldn't book anything for CC because my family and mylittleprincess family have a great time at the fabulous beach!!! For Key West we are going to wing it. If you want info or to join us on the excursions we booked, PM myself or mylittleprincess or post here and we will give you details. :dance3:
