Hello everyone!!! I'm Portia and I'll be cruising with my DH Shawn, my DD Tade (10), and my DS Corey (5). This will be my first cruise ever and I'm super excited!!! This is the 4th cruise with our group . We are a fun bunch.

It's hard with the school teacher schedule. Mimi has very little flexibility in vacation time. So when we are all retired we can get it together.

yes, I did see it, kind of freaky... I have no idea why I watch, considering how many times I look away from the TV.

Hope everyone if having a good weekend. I am off tomorrow morning to Houston for 4 days, and it's going to be hot.

We also love shark week. I did not see the one in Seaside. How big was it?

I was in Texas last week end. It is very hot so be ware!!! It was over 100 degrees. Our ice cream at sonic was melting before they got it to the car!!!

Sharks on our coasts are much more frequent than people think! I grew up on the Jersey Shore and every day planes fly up and down the coastline with an eye out for large ones. The water this summer in Jersey has been the cleanest in years and held huge amount of bait fish. They have also had a humpbac whale frequentin the shoreline arouns Point Pleasant or these same reasons.
*If you watch the video closely, you'll notice a rod tip which means the shark was hooked up off shore and reeled in....likely a ways out past the breakers.

Here too, they are always seeing sharks here. I am glad they are just not when I am at the beach!!!!

Hi guys! Welcome to the newby's. We started football season this weekend with temps close to 100 and expecting over 100 several days this week. I wraped over 600 hor dogs this weekend. I will be happy of I never see a hotdog again or at least until next Sat.
