On the voting thing for our new name. I was just thinking................I know, I know what you're going to say............you........David.....thinking OMG!!!! I hope you didn't hurt your self, or do you smell something burning.......oh it's only David trying to think again, or don't try something you can't do!!! I've heard all of these before!!!!
Anyway, maybe we should vote on our personal website. Would that be more secure? But I'll go along with the group and send it to one of our designated receivers by a PM. Can you tell, does it show, I'm ready to get started.

That sounds like a good idea . . .BUT, When I was on the website a couple days ago after Nancy added the poll, I voted, looked at the results, went on to look at a few more pages on the site, went back to the home page and noticed that I could vote AGAIN! Curiousity got to me, so I checked my choice again and it allowed me to vote! So, even though it is a great idea, there is no way of everyone having just one vote. We could sit on there all day and click on our favorite name and really skew the vote. Thanks to Nancy for adding the poll and for all the work she has done on the website, but I think we should "nix" voting there.

I say we just 'pm' our choice to the two who volunteered and trust that they will keep it fair.

I will, I promise! I am absolutely sure that Angieengary will too, but of course I can only speak for myself: I'm not affiliated with any group, I don't know any of you personally and I've never even sailed on a cruise before (now that I'm adding all this up, it sounds like I'm this horrible outsider! Don't kick me out!) so I promise I'll keep it totally fair.

I will honestly be perfectly happy with any name whatsoever that this vote shall come up with, as I am just deliriously happy that I will get to enjoy a cruise yay on the Magic yay with the man I love yay, off this glorious mystical continent far away from my own that most of you call home yay.

Hi Everyone Geez, I haven't been on here in a long time, but I thought I'd have hundreds of pages to catch up on (ya'll are a little quiet on here lately, must be super busy like me )

So, what have I missed? New cruisers, welcome aboard! David, hope you had a fabulous birthday yesterday. And Tom, so sorry to hear about your MIL...I lost my FIL last year the day after Thanksgiving and we all miss him so much...we will be thinking of you and your family. Oh, and lastly, sorry to see fellow cruisers jumping ship...you will be missed!

So, things here have been busy. As I have stated before, 1st grade is killing me DS is holding his own (well, trying to at least), but we have to spend LOTS of time on homework/review in the afternoon.

And next, swimming is over for DS...but Cub Scouts has started. Now, I didn't know how this would work out for us, but it really is quite fun, and he is having a blast spending all that extra "man" time with his Daddy. And yes, he informed me before his little meeting the other day that they are "little men" now and I can't call them boys anymore Now if I could just get around that popcorn selling thing...

So, add to all this excitement, we added 2 (not 1), but 2 new puppies to the family We are proud new parents to 2 new mini longhaired Dachshunds (Pebbles and Bam Bam), one boy, one girl...they are both so adorable DH, DS, and DD have been bugging me for months (we lost our other Dachshund 3 yrs ago and our bigger mixed breed just this last January) to get another dog. Well, you can see what happens when I put my foot down in this family...we don't get another dog...we end up with 2!!! Oh well, at least I don't have to bend down and pick up tidbits of food the kids unknowingly drop from the table anymore

Now, on to the best part...wait for it...wait for it...WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY WORLD IN 5 DAYS!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited. And, to make it even better, we have managed to keep it a surprise from my DS (who puts ever single penny he finds in the Disney jar so he can get back there faster). He doesn't even have a clue

Well, that kind of sums it up on my end. Geez this post is long...has anyone actually gotten through it all

Oh, and on the voting, anything is fine by me. I'll try to pop on here at least once a day before and during my trip to see what's up with that.

What is everyone up to this weekend?

I'm taking a few minutes to sit down and relax before our company arrives. We are having 20 guests for dinner tonight and since its raining they are all going to be inside my house. But after a little hard work (I rearranged the furniture so I could get enough tables up so everyone will be able to sit and eat) it has all come together and I'm ready for them

As for my Sunday I plan to sleep in (I'm sure it will be deserved after tonight) and then relax for the rest of the day.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm finally getting through the laundry and unpacking. I hope to work on my trip report this weekend and also get some of the pictures from our cruise together so I can help DS put them in his school journal. He's going to do show and tell next week, so he can share his WONDERful Disney vacation with his new classmates. He just started a new pre-school several weeks ago.

I'm hoping to get caught up on the threads in the next few days. What have we missed out on so far? Any tips for a 7 night Western newbie?

We were headed out to meet some friends for dinner but they just called to say the better half is down with the stomach flu. It's too late for us to cancel our sitter, so DH and I are going to have a nice romantic evening Hope my DS doesn't go too crazy with our sitter. He hasn't seen her in a over 6 weeks.

Angie, good luck with dinner tonight. Sounds like lots of fun to be had at your house. Maybe we should invite ourselves over since we have a sitter and plans fell through
