We had talked about this on the first board we had and I wondered if people still want me to do this.


There are a number of us that are going to need hotel rooms the night before the cruise is anyone interested in me calling a couple of the hotels (the ones people on here think are nice and have shuttle service) and seeing about getting us all a group rate?

If so I would just need to get an idea a rough idea of how many rooms we would need. The hotels that have been suggested are Country Inn and Suites and The Radisson.

I would like to call about this next week if possible. We are just getting rates so no one is locked into this

If nobody minds, I'll volunteer to be the second person to collect the PMs with names.
I absolutely won't be miffed, guys, if you pick somebody else, as I know I am not online as often as some of you. However, I would definitely be online for the yet-to-be-established deadline, collect all the answers, put them in a little presentation and consult with the other "name-collector". So if nobody minds, I'll be ready for those pm's

Have a nice evening everybody (well I guess it's rather noontime where most of you are, but as for me I've finished my workday, am about ready to step on my Wii Fit and then afterwards finally have a lazy evening )

Oh, and of course I'm sending my (albeit slightly belated) congrats to the birthday boy David as well!

I'm thinking we give it a week for people to submit any other names they want added to the list. Then I will post the names on the board. At that time everyone would have two weeks to email BOTH Annichan and Myself what their top three picks are. Then Annichan and I will list the top three names and then you'll have another week to get your final vote in based on the top three.

This is just an idea. If anyone has a better way of doing this please let me know, I just really want to get this over with and figure out our name.

I also think you have to be sailing with us in order to vote. I agree with what someone else said that we don't want an outsider picking our name.

Okay here is a question for you all. I have been keeping a list of all the names people have suggested for our cruise name. Does anyone have any ideas on how we should vote.

One idea I have is that we pick two people from the board and everyone email both of those people their top 3 names from the list. Then after 1 or 2 weeks time we post those three names and everyone picks their favorite and emails that to the same two people. Then we post the top name.

The only reason I say email 2 people is so that no one can say someone fixed it. LOL

I'm looking for suggestions everyone. I personally would like us to have a name by the time we hit 52 Fridays I hope I'm not stepping on anyones feet here by bringing this up and pushing to get it done. But there are people on here that want to do personal things and need to know our name. Plus we need a name.

Or we could all go to the website and cast your vote there? on the main page?
It would be quick and easy for everyone I think.

Hey Pinkgurlshubby, you sure hit the ol' nail on the head with that torture machine thing. DW puts on that leather outfit of hers, (it has spikes sticking out of it all over the place), and those knee high spiked heel boots, and the whip, I mean the whip really sits off the outfit. Let me tell you something guys when she puts this outfit on I'm scared half out of my wits!!!
But it seems to make me motivated to get on that ol' torture machine and do my workout.
I think Annichan and Angiengary would be the perfect ones to collect the votes. My vote is for these two. Wait a minute.............I do still get to vote for our name don't I?

Hi Everyone Geez, I haven't been on here in a long time, but I thought I'd have hundreds of pages to catch up on (ya'll are a little quiet on here lately, must be super busy like me )

So, what have I missed? New cruisers, welcome aboard! David, hope you had a fabulous birthday yesterday. And Tom, so sorry to hear about your MIL...I lost my FIL last year the day after Thanksgiving and we all miss him so much...we will be thinking of you and your family. Oh, and lastly, sorry to see fellow cruisers jumping ship...you will be missed!

So, things here have been busy. As I have stated before, 1st grade is killing me DS is holding his own (well, trying to at least), but we have to spend LOTS of time on homework/review in the afternoon.

And next, swimming is over for DS...but Cub Scouts has started. Now, I didn't know how this would work out for us, but it really is quite fun, and he is having a blast spending all that extra "man" time with his Daddy. And yes, he informed me before his little meeting the other day that they are "little men" now and I can't call them boys anymore Now if I could just get around that popcorn selling thing...

So, add to all this excitement, we added 2 (not 1), but 2 new puppies to the family We are proud new parents to 2 new mini longhaired Dachshunds (Pebbles and Bam Bam), one boy, one girl...they are both so adorable DH, DS, and DD have been bugging me for months (we lost our other Dachshund 3 yrs ago and our bigger mixed breed just this last January) to get another dog. Well, you can see what happens when I put my foot down in this family...we don't get another dog...we end up with 2!!! Oh well, at least I don't have to bend down and pick up tidbits of food the kids unknowingly drop from the table anymore

Now, on to the best part...wait for it...wait for it...WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY WORLD IN 5 DAYS!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited. And, to make it even better, we have managed to keep it a surprise from my DS (who puts ever single penny he finds in the Disney jar so he can get back there faster). He doesn't even have a clue

Well, that kind of sums it up on my end. Geez this post is long...has anyone actually gotten through it all

Oh, and on the voting, anything is fine by me. I'll try to pop on here at least once a day before and during my trip to see what's up with that.
